Professional from start to finish. My hair is not easy to cut because I have thinning areas, but after Alain finished, you couldn’t tell at all. He took his time, paid attention to detail, and really put effort into perfecting the cut. When I got out of the chair, I honestly looked like a different person. The transformation was crazy. Fresh line, clean finish, sharp all the way around. Most importantly, Alain completed the full service I booked. I’ve been to other barbershops where I paid for a razor shave and hot towel and didn’t even receive it. That won’t happen with Alain. He delivers exactly what you pay for. This is his second cut with her at Black Diamond and he wanted to go back. Thank you, Lupe for being so meticulous. My son comes from the Astoria ( almost a 2 hr drive each way) to get a cut and says that she is so nice and he’s comfortable- that’s important for customer service. Thank you from a mom that’s been a stylist for 20 years. Great cuts and great atmosphere.

Negative experience: Very disappointed. I was charged $47 for a 5-minute lineup on my son. The job was rushed and not worth the price at all. I tried reaching out to the manager on Instagram to come back and have it corrected, but no response. This place will hustle you. I do not recommend going here.

Negative experience: My son cut his hair here a couple of times and had a good experience with the owner. Last week I tried to book an appointment with Alain over the phone and he told me he was not available and told me to schedule online. So, I booked an appointment online 3 days in advance. However, when I called in on the day of the appointment to confirm it another barber said Alain had family emergency and was not available. No email confirmation that appointment was canceled. Very frustrating and unprofessional! And this was not the first time they used family emergency as an excuse. I wanted to like this place but we will not be returning back to this salon.

After visiting several other Barbers around the area, we found Black Diamond Barber Shop and we won't go anywhere else now! My son has chosen to stick with Alejandro C. He does a great job and works well with our kid who is not great at explaining what he wants. But each time, my kid leaves super happy with his different cuts/styles. The shop is really clean and everyone is very nice.

I have finally found a barber shop worth the money and worth the wait. They treat each customer with respect and make them feel amazing and taken care of. 10/10 recommend!

Negative experience: I AINT NEVER GOING BACK. I called asked for a line up he said he was the owner told me 20$ over the phone and charged me an extra 26.60 extra on my way out the door. $26! Without asking me for anything costing more and being up charged. So for that 1 star customer service. not to mention he cuts my forehead by my temple

Negative experience: Erick did my son’s hair cut. First I want to say how welcoming and nice the staff is. However, I wasn’t too happy with my barber. I showed him a photo of what I wanted for my son and he said he could do it no problem. Well the hair cut took an hour and it wasn’t what I asked for. Also the next day my son was telling me that his head hurts in the back so I figured he must have got knicked but I was wrong. He had a huge rash and tiny bumps on his head. He shaved him bald in the back I asked for a fade. I’ll show you what I asked for and what he got.

Negative experience: After my experience I would never recommend this place the barrier i unfortunately got clearly didn’t understand English I was quoted a price to razor my head i got charged about 10$ more and didn’t get what I asked I stil tipped im in a wheelchair and as he was pushing me out of the way my brakes were on as I was telling him to stop my breaks were on he just kept pushing which can damage the brakes luckily another barber saw and heard me and he stopped pushing besides that not getting what I was told could be done I pai:0$plus tip just to have My head shaved I could have went to super.
