Fantastic experience: Ibrahim is now my go-to barber--every time. I've had some bad experiences at other barbershops in the Cambridge area over the past few years. But I showed Ibrahim some clear pictures of a good past haircut from the front and the sides, and he did exactly that. He listens to the details that makes the cut just right, exhibits great professionalism, and provides a quality result every time. If you are in the Cambridge area and need a haircut, look no further. Don't keep Googling or reading reviews or trying out different places, because there is one correct course of action: Go to Ibrahim.

Fantastic experience: Ibrahim is a master at his craft. I have tried 6+ barber shops in Cambridge and Boston, and was so disappointed with my last 2 cuts (even though both were 90$), that I had totally given up on finding a place to get a decent haircut. No amount of explanation, or showing photos would work. Ibrahim looked at a photo of mine with the last decent haircut, and listened to my suggestions, and had his tools do the magic. Highly recommend this place, and will visit again!

Brahim is very professional, friendly, and really take his time to make sure you leave looking your best. The shop has a clean and welcoming atmosphere, and I never feel rushed. They listen to what you want, give great suggestions, and always deliver a sharp cut. Easily the best barber shop in town—highly recommend!

Negative experience: Worst haircut I've received yet. Did not listen at all to what I requested. I asked for .5 inches off just to even things out. Took at least 2 inches off unevenly and gave me a hard part which I specifically asked not to do. 30 minute appointment and finished in less than 10 minutes. I've never left a barbershop so fast. Will need to go to a different barber to even out the top and salvage what is left.

Negative experience: Guy who cut my hair made an extremely sexist comment about women driving badly. Never heard a barber do that before. He was bad at listening as well, gave me a square cut in the back instead of the round cut I asked for.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been taking my son here for years, since he was about 5, they do a great job with kids’ cuts and the barbers are skilled, gentle, and careful, particularly Ibrahim. My son hates getting his hair cut, but this place makes it as pleasant as it can be. Bonus points for the selection of books to read while you’re waiting. Plus it’s really conveniently situated on the edge of Inman square, we usually get ice cream after haircuts.

Positive experience: I am editing my review from before when they had just opened. Every time since my first visit I have had to wait at least 20 minutes past the appointment time. What is the point of a haircut appointment if there's still a line when you get there? I felt that the haircut is rushed and chaotic with the Owner answering the phone and looking out the window many times during the haircut. They also switched to cash only.

Fantastic experience: Did not have a reservation, but they cut my hair with great care after 10 minutes of waiting time. Also they did not mind taking their time to focus on the details and made sure I have the hairstyle I wanted at the end. Very skillful barbers at the shop.

Negative experience: Needed a haircut on Sunday and this one of the few places open. Really nice folks, but my particular barber probably had a 5 min crash course on how to cut hair from youtube at maximum. Quality was rather poor and cleaningness of the shop is not very good either. Only recommend if you are really desperate for a haircut.

It was good, but I had to tell him to use straight razor to clean around my ears and behind the head after round cut, which something I never had to tell anyone before.
