Fantastic experience: I have been going here since its opening. Every cut is an excellent cut! I only trust my hair (what is left) with this crew. The consistency and quality have kept me coming back for decades. Don't waste time in a salon, be a man and go to an authentic Barber Shop. This is the only place I go for a haircut.

Fantastic experience: This is my husband's go-to Barber, and I love them too. He always comes home looking and feeling like a million bucks. I sometimes cut his hair to save money, and it is difficult to say the least. It is so thick that I swear it grows while I cut it, but its no problem for the barbers at the Great American Barber Shop. It doesn't matter who is cutting his hair there, he always enjoys himself and is pleased with the result. When I come in, I am always greeted as well, which is nice. If I had sons I would feel very comfortable taking my boys here.

Negative experience: Not only did they give my husband an absolutely terrible haircut. And the staff was super rude about it

Its great to find a local shop that still offers that same kind of skill, camaraderie, and service and at a fair price. Except today, I use GABS’s on-line scheduling tool to zip in and out with no wait. I don’t miss those 30-45 waits in decades past. Dave knows his craft and will give you exactly what you ask for and make sure before you leave that you are happy. I think they could add another two chairs and make the next Barbershop movie there.
