Fantastic experience: They did a fantastic job, was able to get in and out quickly and followed exactly how I wanted my hair cut.

Negative experience: Asked for a mid fade and remove a little bit from the top, and the barber was watching TV, and absolutely cooked me. Fade was higher than German taxes, and the top is one forth as long.

Positive experience: Good service but they are talking too much with each other while they cut your hair. They need to pay attention on customer

Fantastic experience: My 13 year old son googled best barber in Kansas. Mo's popped up at the top of the list. His first time (1/23/26) there was this afternoon and he loved his low taper cut from Rose. She did a great job. Lines were super sharp and the fade was clean he said. Shop was on point and clean. All the guys were super nice. He said this was his best cut ever and will be going to Mo's every month. i watched the other barbers and you cant go wrong having anyone at Mo's cut your hair.

Negative experience: 0 Stars — Extremely Unprofessional Experience If it were possible to give zero stars, I would. This was one of the most unprofessional and disrespectful experiences I have ever had at a barber shop. My barber, Mo, arrived approximately 15 minutes late for a scheduled appointment with no apology or acknowledgment. While on the premises, I overheard staff members making inappropriate and insulting remarks about me, including comments about why my appointment was accepted at all. These remarks were made openly and within earshot while I was in the restroom, which was both uncomfortable and unacceptable. This behavior was especially disappointing given that I had recently rescheduled a prior appointment due to illness. My brother also had a negative experience. He left with a visible red rash on his neck caused by the apron used during his service. Additionally, despite both of our appointments being prepaid through the booking app, we were asked to pay again because staff claimed they could not see the confirmations. That is not the customer’s responsibility. I also requested their advertised “Full Service,” priced at $150. This service has never been fully provided, despite multiple visits. Each time, staff claimed that essential equipment such as the towel heater or shampoo bowls were out of order. On this most recent visit, a face mask was applied and I was sent home without it being washed off, which is completely unacceptable from a hygiene and service standpoint. Overall, the lack of professionalism, poor communication, failure to deliver paid services, and disrespectful staff conduct make it clear that this establishment does not value its customers. I will not be returning and do not recommend this barber shop to others.

Negative experience: Worst experience in my life. One of their employees walks out waiting for me , and then puts me in a chair without asking if I had an appointment or anything. I had booked an appointment online the day before, anyway while they were cutting my hair, because they dodnt know I was the guy who made an appointment they thought I was late and started to make fun of me while i was LITERALLY sitting right there listening to everything. Anyway, now for the actual haircut, no joke all they did was grap a razor and put the biggest attachment and just buzzed my head all they way back. I told them to keep it long and they proceed to basiclaly buzz my hair off. I had asked for a scissor cut before hand and instead they gave me a razor cut. And finally for the checkout process, I told them I paid online and then some kid starts explaining to me that their website online doesnt work and that it doesnt actually take your money. I had no idea who this kid was but I guess he "works" there idk. Anyway, with all my heart I beg you to please refrain from coming here. 0/10 customer service and 0/10 haircut. Please go find an actual barber shop. I came here thinking I was ganna look great, and all the 5 star reviews were making me expect a great experience. I dont know WHO is giving this place a 5 star, but this place was a joke.

Negative experience: I think it is better to say that they are not serious about the business anymore. I went through walk in and the guy who looks like a kid made me sit for 20 mins which is okay and then made me sit on the chair and left outside, later came after 15 mins smelling smoke and liquor. He finished my cut in 5 mins and said this is all he can do with the hair. I would say i am kind of disappointed by the way they are doing the professional job these days. I thought i was the only one experienced but after reading the comments, I understood that its no more a good place to go for a decent cut.

Negative experience: I had one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at MOS Barber. I booked my appointment for 3:15 PM, but I was not taken in until 3:45 PM. There is no point in offering appointments if customers are still kept waiting for 30 minutes. When I finally sat down, the station wasn’t even cleaned. There was hair from the previous customer all over the seat and counter, which felt extremely unhygienic. The barber I got (the one wearing a cowboy hat) asked me to sit, then walked outside for about 10 minutes. He came back smelling strongly of cigarette smoke and alcohol, which was very uncomfortable. During the haircut, he barely paid attention. He kept talking to other people and constantly stopping every few seconds to take little breaks. It felt like he didn’t care about the customer in his chair at all. I even showed him a picture of my previous haircut, but what he gave me was completely different. To make it worse, after finishing the cut, he didn’t even dry my hair properly. He left it wet and uncombed and just used the dryer for maybe 10 seconds before saying he was done. To summarize my experience: • Appointment at 3:15 but haircut started at 3:45 • Dirty, unhygienic chair with hair from previous customer • Barber left the shop for ~10 minutes and returned smelling of smoke/alcohol • Did not follow the reference photo I provided • Constantly talking to others and not focused on the haircut • Took small breaks every few seconds instead of working consistently • Did not dry or style my hair at the end • Extremely unprofessional behavior overall I want to be clear: the other stylists at MOS Barber seem good, but based on everything above, I strongly recommend avoiding the barber who wears the cowboy hat. My experience with him was very disappointing and unprofessional, and I will not be returning.
