I've been cut and trimmed by almost everyone there and they all do outstanding work. The other barbers do a great job too; Jose, Perry, and Martinez to name a few. Only people in the area that I would let cut my hair, you will not find a better group of barbers and people in the area. It’s a tremendous haircut and even better atmosphere.

Fantastic experience: I took my 12-year-old son here for the first time yesterday. We will absolutely be back. We loved the energy, everyone who works here seems to really enjoy what they do. My son is a little Italian prince, so he’s very picky about his haircuts and he absolutely loved what Andrew did. He also loved that he had no spare hairs down his back or on his neck afterwards. It’s the little things. Great job and will see you guys again soon. My only feedback for the owner though: I love you but I’m not downloading a boosky app just to leave a review. It would be super cool if you sent an email asking for a Google review or a booksy one. I bet you’d get a ton more reviews if you offered a link to Google in addition.

Convos are always flowing, and the service is exceptional. Even the interior and exterior art on the building is hand done by local artists. Not only did he line everything up perfectly, but he also took the time to remove all the ingrown hairs from my beard—something I’ve struggled with for a long time. The difference is incredible. He was right on time, super friendly, and made the whole experience comfortable and positive. I walked out of that chair feeling like a new man. Negative experience: I really wanted to like this place, but my experience was incredibly frustrating. My appointment was at 4:15 with AJ or maybe al jay?, and after arriving on time, I ended up waiting for 25 minutes without any word. Eventually, another barber stepped in and said he'd get me after finishing his current client. At that point, I was already getting irritated, but I still tried to be patient. I had somewhere to be at 6, and I couldn’t risk running behind any further. It was just disappointing to see other people get their cuts and leave while I was left hanging. If you're charging $40-$50 for a haircut, there's no excuse for this level of disorganization. If someone’s running late, another available barber should step in. It’s a waste of time, and I won't be coming back. August 1st 2025

I have hair that is quite troublesome when it gets too long, and Al Jay has been keeping me looking good and at the top of my game for the past several months. I've never known another barber to have the capacity to work so fluidly and keep a conversation going at the same time. My first cut was so good I thought it was a fluke, until I went again and the quality actually improved! Always seeking to improve and deliver the best service possible, Al Jay is an exemplary model for barbers everywhere and I would have him cut my hair every week if I could afford it. I had been used to cutting my own hair for so long, especially during the pandemic. Maybe I'm just less fidgety than I was as a young ADHD riddled child, but I feel comfortable sitting in the barber chair at Colleywood. I've booked with a couple different people, and they've always been amicable and professional. It's a kind and welcoming environment. I guess it also helps that everyone else seems to think my haircuts look pretty nice as well since I started going.
