Fantastic experience: Bobby is awesome!!! Best curly cut I've ever gotten! Love how professional he is and truly a wizard at his craft. Excited to go back to him for my balayage. My daughter got her hair cut as well and she also loved it! We're both extra picky with our hair, and Bobby put us at complete ease with his expertise. Fantastic experience: First thing to note, right as I walked in, there was a fun and positive vibe about the place. There was good music playing, and everybody was talking and laughing. Love to see it. I saw Amanda, who did a phenominal job. She spent the better part of the hour making sure everything was perfect, and yeah, it's perfect. The haircut was exactly what I wanted, and my beard was trimmed with lazer precision. The shampoo massage, the conditioner treatment, the hot towel, the straight shave, the shoulder massage- really makes you feel like a million bucks out hhe door. For what you're getting, the price can't be beat. Killer cut, expert service, great people, and a good price. Can't wait to go back!

Fantastic experience: My haircut looks AMAZING! I got a long haircut, and requested a haircut found from a Pinterest photo. It was long layers, and to cut off my dead ends. All of my dead ends were cut off and my hair looks so much healthier. Great job, Bobby!!

Negative experience: Had a run of good haircuts here. The reason for not a single star is that David does a great job and is good to talk to during the cut. From a customer service perspective, they are pretty much always running behind appointment timing by 10-15 minutes. Today I had an appointment and when I showed up I was told they couldn’t fit me in to the schedule with no reasoning as to why. It would have been helpful if they could have called to tell me this versus me driving there to be told they couldn’t cut my hair. Overall based on always running late and today’s experience, this will likely be the last time I visit Floyd’s.

Fantastic experience: I’ve known Herman for two decades, so I already knew the quality of his work—but finding out he moved here from Colorado was the best surprise. I drive an hour just to have him cut all four of my sons’ hair because his skill and consistency are unmatched. I won’t go to anyone else. Herman is truly an exceptional barber.

Fantastic experience: I have been a few times now, pricing is very reasonable for a good haircut and a neck shave ($35). I have gone with Adrianna and she has been excellent, always very friendly and gives amazing haircuts. For me I feel like it always takes me a few days to like the way my hair looks after a haircut but with her I have always left that day loving it right away. Highly recommend!

Negative experience: Ask for a little trim…. Gave me an under cut with the back of my head shaved… even showed a picture and somehow still managed to mess me up. If you go here talk to the barbers like they never cut hair before.

Negative experience: The probably baked out of his mind barber didn’t listen to any of my instructions, turned me away from the mirror the entire time so by the time I noticed what was wrong it was too late, and took roughly 15 minutes to cut my hair when it usually takes 30+. Go somewhere else.

Negative experience: Now I have been coming to Floyd’s for over a year and I’m normally super happy with the cut but after my last service I’m left looking for another barber shop. The lady who cut my hair today was unprofessional and made me feel uncomfortable in the chair. Definitely one of the worst haircuts I’ve gotten. I am so disappointed that I have to walk around with this haircut. I don’t plan on coming back here

Negative experience: This barbershop claims to allow walk-in haircuts. I walked in 45 minutes prior to close and the barbershop said they could not help me. Pretty disappointed in the customer service. Both the employee at the desk and the manager were not friendly or helpful. I would also add that there were no customers in the waiting area, and it looked as if a few of the barbers were sitting in the chairs on their phones, doing nothing. After they refused to help me, I left and drove to Supercuts. I got there 30 minutes before they closed and they helped me right away. I will be going to Supercuts from now on. Supercuts also takes appointments but didn’t refuse me as a walk-in.

Negative experience: This place has gone downhill. Terrible haircut in 14 mins. This has become the norm here. Can get a better haircut T SuperCuts. Never coming here or to any Floyd's again. The past 3 times, I did t get the razor shave on the back of my neck, which is supposed to be included.

Negative experience: Floyd’s was my place to go for a haircut for the past three years. Astrid, who appears to no longer work there, was really great. This all changed when I went there a couple of weeks ago and got my haircut done by Jarrett. I never got a worse haircut in my entire life. He only cut my hair for about 10 minutes, left my sides uneven and didn’t even blow my hair in the end. I went to another barber three days later and he said he has never seen a more amateur and more unfinished haircut before. After going there for three years, I’m super disappointed and I’m only giving Floyd’s 2 stars because of Astrid.

Negative experience: Barber shaved off my widow's peak even though I did not request it. I have medium length hair, and it will take me 6+ months to grow it back. Even if it grows back, it will grow back unevenly from the rest of my hair. Barber also did not know how to remove weight/thin out my hair without removing length. He had to ask another barber how to do it, and he didn't even do it properly afterwards.

Negative experience: Terrible. Would leave 0 stars if I could.Got a haircut and beard trim. Did an OK job on the hair, absolutely BUTCHERED the beard. Been growing a beard for about 9 months. Told them I wanted to keep a full beard, just trim the fly-aways and shape it. She proceeded to buzz my beard down to a ragged quarter inch length, destroying months of growth. All she said was "Sorry". First and last time going to a Floyd's. Stylist apparently has no idea what a full beard is.

Positive experience: The cuts are usually great, but I keep getting charged for a skin fade when I ask for a zero high fade. It's not much, but the $5 difference adds up, especially when it's not the cut I'm receiving.

Negative experience: Used to go to Floyd’s in Plano and they were great. Can’t say the same for this location. First time we came in we had scheduling issues and then after having to come back hours later, my son was left with a choppy looking haircut. And I was even up-charged for a “specialty cut” when all he got was his bangs textured. Second time around was a little bit better, no scheduling issues, but the cut was just not very good. The barber admitted to not really being familiar with doing that type of cut (low taper fade), but I was only told this After he finished and after he had to try and fix it. My son left with a Cut Ear and a haircut that I now have to pay someone else to fix. Sad to say we won’t be back.

Negative experience: I have court in the morning and as we all know that appearance going to be something that judge going to look at and obviously going to give him some kinda vision on how much I respect his court room showing up like that and all I needed is a quick fade on the sides And straightened edges 15 min job tops and they charging 40 bucks for that. My hair super short all ready so it's easiest money to be made but they said no to that and now I have to show up looking like a dump 974-6996

Negative experience: I called yesterday and the front desk guy said to come in after noon so I did. I got there and he told me to come back at 8 pm so I did. Well I came back at 8pm on the dot and waited there for 15 minutes only to be told that they actually cannot help me. I don’t know why I even tried to come here. Total waste of time leaving and coming back very unprofessional 10/10 do not recommend.

Fantastic experience: Dude. Justin is the man. And hilarious. I walked in twenty minutes before close and he gave me the best haircut I’ve had in years and I kept the poor guy 30 minutes over after close on a SUNDAY. Fella’s hard-working and a barber that rivals the ones your papaw went to in the days of yore. I’m about to move to Denton from Dallas but literally considering coming to back to Dallas just to haircut. Be sure to see this guy!

Fantastic experience: My stylist, Astrid, is amazing! Very attuned to what I like. She gets it perfect every time. I think she used the CBD scalp treatment this time and I actually ended up buying it for myself because I have scalp psoriasis and general skin issues. The shampoo massage was amazing as well. Her service gets better every time I see her because she actually pays attention to my wants and needs.

Fantastic experience: Service was amazing. Astrid always does so good!!! I will say there was a blonde girl there (assuming she was the manager) having what I would consider and inappropriate conversation with another barber. In front of the client the barber was about to cut she asked the barber “oh I didn’t know you were going home early” and the barber replied “yes I was”. As a client that’s the last thing I want to hear before she cuts my hair. Not a conversation for on the floor.

Negative experience: We have been taking our son here for a year and always had a great experience until today. The barber did the opposite of everything that was requested. Was told the length was good and yet she then cut more, This caused my son to be very upset and even when she saw he was crying she blamed him for the bad haircut and never apologized.

Negative experience: HORRIBLE. My partner went to the Mockingbird location and had Selena cut his hair. He asked for 1inch off, she left him with little to no hair after taking off 3inches, just started chopping it off. She also left patches of hair around his ear that were visibly different lengths. his hairline is uneven and patchy. he still had to pay for the service after. she was completely unprofessional.

Negative experience: Don't wanna trash the whole place because it definitely looked like other folks working there were paying attention, but whoever cut my hair was not. Missed spots around the ears for evening up the fade, uneven slivers/bands of hair at the front on my side part (extra noticeable now but that's on me for not noticing she was parting them the wrong way during the cut I guess) and also in the back. Least detail oriented cut I've ever had and the first time it was bad enough to leave a review. May have also been listening in on a call with an earbud in? Couldn't tell if she was trying to talk to me or not since she was talking very softly.

Fantastic experience: Terri at Floyd's did a wonderful job. She immediately noticed my cowlick and cut my hair in the area to accommodate for it. She was also thorough in making sure I got the haircut I wanted/asked for. Shame she isn't a regular hair stylist there - couldn't find her on their website.

Negative experience: My last 3 visits have been disasters. 1st guy doesn't know what half an inch off the top means and then proceeds to ruin my hair, 2nd time (different barber) doesn't know what a taper fade is and completely buzzes off the sides of my head and takes way too much weight off the top. 3rd dude doesn't know how to blend a fade so I have straight lines through the sides of my head. Don't come here asking for fades cause they'll truly mess up your hair.

Negative experience: The lady that cut my hair at the Mockingbird location was not a barber. She burned the back of my neck with an overheated blade and cut my neck with shears. Pictures attached to prove it. On top of that, she didn't even blend the skin and the hair on the back of my neck. This is the worst haircut I have ever received and will never go back to a Floyd's barbershop again. Absolutely terrible quality.
Fantastic experience: I’ve been bringing my 79-year-old father here because he likes going to a real barbershop. He has Parkinson’s disease but the staff have always been so amazing and accommodating him so he can stay in his wheelchair and get a good haircut. Thank you Floyds!
