I love the straight razor shave. It's so smooth afterwards. I think she does it all for $40, but I always pay her $50. All I can say is that she does an amazing job .

Fantastic experience: When I came into Herston’s Barbershop today, I was greeted by a lovely man who turned out to be Todd Channell. Mr. Channell is a friendly individual, and we had many conversations about football, hobbies, and each other's lives. Mr. Channell took his time giving me a haircut, and you could tell he cares about the quality of his work and is willing to do his best for everyone who walks through the doors of Herston’s Barbershop. Mr. Channell is a great barber, and I will make sure to always set up an appointment with him whenever I need a haircut.

Negative experience: Made an appointment over a week in advance. Get multiple reminder emails for the appointment. Show up & they claim there is no appointment. Try to tell my husband it’s probably my fault because I didn’t finish the “last step”. How does one get appointment reminders if the appointment is not set?!? We won’t be back. Customers time is valuable!!!!

I haven't had a hair cut or beard trim in close to a year, so I presented a decent challenge haha Sat down and we got to talking about what I was looking for in a cut and beard trim and he hit it out of the park. Will definitely be booking an appointment when I'm in town. My first time impression, being my first time to the shop, it was welcoming and laid back. Audrey came right out, welcomed me, and sat down for a quick talk. You could tell everyone liked being there, which makes all the difference. Keep up the great work!!

Negative experience: Great barbers and atmosphere. I highly recommend treating yourself and getting a hair and beard trim! Update: the barbers that I would recommend have left. I have started going elsewhere. Update 2: I have tried other barbers and watched others. It has been a while since i have been there but i was scrolling through my reviews and found this and wanted to update it to reflect my updated feelings. Also, in my himble opinion, chastising patrons is probably not a good look for a business owner. If I would have been thinking of returning to try it out again I most certainly would not now!
