Fantastic experience: I’ve always had trouble finding a place that’s consistent and always gives the best quality- but I found it here… Been 4 times and each time the hair cut is always top notch, and high quality- they ask for and listen to your feedback and want you to leave with what you want. Negative experience: I got an horrible cut from this place, I scheduled first time with Ahmad and he didn't show. Some other guy in the office cut my hair instead. The cut looked awful on the front, didn't line up right, wasn't cut to how I wanted it and I never have issues with barbers/stylists cutting my hair. I told them on FB, said would resolve then never messaged me back in 5 days. I had to go somewhere else to get the front fixed.

There were tons of people there for the food, bouncy houses, give-a-ways, and of course, haircuts and braiding. The place has a very upbeat atmosphere and the employees have conversations with you like they've known you for years. It is a really great place. My grandson is in the chair now and is looking great so far!

Negative experience: A disappointing experience. Seems like a place around by teenagers with no customer service experience. The guy at the front desk was just sitting in his phone all the time, told me somebody will be there shortly and just kept sitting on his phone. Jose, was 40 minutes late for my appointment, and at no point nobody acknowledged that fact and didn't even say sorry for being late. It felt like it was Jose's first week being a barber at all. It was very harsh with a blade, left red marks all over my skin and minor cuts on the beard line. I will not be back.

Negative experience: Bilal gave me the worst fade not worth 30-40 if your looking for top notch fade good luck

Negative experience: I went to Exotic Cutzz on June 8th as a walk-in, and honestly, it was one of the worst barbershop experiences I’ve ever had. I was assigned to a barber named Long S, and from the start, it was clear he wasn’t skilled with the clippers. At one point, he literally left a hole in my hair, and when I pointed it out, he acted like nothing happened. He tried to “fix it,” but the damage was already done, and the cut looked nothing like what I originally asked for. When I told him the hole was still visible, he got upset, raised his voice, and blamed it on a “communication problem.” I told him I wasn’t comfortable paying for a service like that, and he straight up told me, “If you’re not happy, you don’t have to pay.” Then he moved on to my beard. I asked for a full shave, and again—he didn’t do it right. When I asked if he was going to use a razor to clean it up, he told me I’d need to book another appointment for that. Really? A second appointment just to finish the shave? By that point, I was totally disappointed. I got up and left without paying—again, he said I didn’t have to if I wasn’t satisfied. But right after I walked out, he threatened to call the police and took a photo of my license plate. Completely unnecessary and aggressive. Then that night, the owner called me and tried to intimidate me into paying, instead of checking the security footage, which would clearly show the barber told me I didn’t have to pay. When I asked him to review the footage, he said, “Come on man, it’s just 40 bucks—it can’t be that bad,” like it was about the money and not the terrible service and unprofessional behavior. Do not recommend this place at all. Bad haircut, bad attitude, and no accountability. There are way better barbershops in Lexington that actually respect their clients.
