Negative experience: Had a kids cut scheduled for my son on 3pm and I when I arrived and checked in my barber was not at the shop. Entire shop is empty just 1 guy there on his phone. I waited until til 3:30 when the only barber there notified her. I went ahead and left, she called and told me that she was 25 mins away and gave me some excuse about informing someone else to do cut. Asked me did I want to reschedule for the following day or cancel. While appreciated, for a business that thrives on customer service and satisfaction it was wholly unprofessional and sloppy. Would not recommend anymore.
So sorry for the confusion we dont usualy operate like that but our front desk was out with an emergency she had no other option we can offer a free haircut for your next visit if you like
Fantastic experience: Chad was able to squeeze me in last minute. I have never had him cut my hair before so I was a little nervous to go to someone new. I shouldn't have been nervous at all. He did an incredible job with my fade, and had we had a great conversation. He seems like a really hardworking guy who is passionate about his craft. Definitely recommend him for professional barber services. I'm happy I took a chance, because I will definitely be returning to him specifically for my cuts. Thanks again Chad!

Negative experience: While I’m not usually one to complain about a service.. I think there should be some awareness brought to the type of service we received. I booked an appointment for fantasy color and designs to be put in my son’s hair. In the middle of the service, I guess the barber who was supposed to do the designs had to leave. I get it; things come up, so the stylist who done the color took on the design, and in the midst of doing it my son was grimacing, and squinting his eyes. He’s never had any type of design, so i figured it was just a new sensation that he wasn’t used to. Upon leaving the shop and getting out in to the light, I noticed how red and irritated his skin was. Not only was he irritated.. He was cut in multiple places. He stayed perfectly still the whole time. It just felt rushed and i feel horrible that he was put through something that he has been asking for, for so long. This was our first and last time visiting this shop. I’m deeply disappointed considering how much i paid for the service and what we received in return.

Negative experience: I am deeply disappointed by my recent experience with Erin. I trusted her professional judgment to use permanent dye on my hair, but the result was damaging and left me extremely unhappy. Because I am detail-oriented, I could immediately tell the color was off—it flattened my overall look, and she dyed my baby hairs much darker than expected. During the service, she even left the dye on while she went outside to smoke, which was unprofessional and careless. Afterward, I reached out politely by text several times asking for help. In those texts, she claimed the dye information was “in her computer,” but she had never actually documented which dyes she used on my hair at each appointment. Even during my Demi appointments, she used a different dye every time with no consistency or explanation. Two weeks later, when I finally called her directly, she told me to wash my hair with Dawn dish soap and then hung up on me. She never offered corrective service or accountability. On top of this, I was treated differently because Amir is a distant relative I barely know. When I called, the front desk asked, “Are you Amir’s cousin?” From that point, I was not treated like a regular paying client—even though I never received a family discount and always paid in full. I even tipped generously: 65% on my last three Demi visits and 45% on the permanent dye appointment. This experience was negligent, dismissive, and unprofessional. I strongly caution anyone considering booking here.

Negative experience: Made an appointment at 930 the day before and gave my credit card. “Master barber” came in 15 late and I was 3rd in line to get a cut. Place is a scam.

Fantastic experience: Just want to say that have been here multiple times and Everytime I’ve gone got my hair cut by smiley and never disappointed. Even let him do his own thing with my hair one time and turned out to be my favorite cut that I get regularly from him now.
Negative experience: Do not go here. I was a customer for a while. I had an appointment with Zane (stylist), drove 35 minutes just to find out she had quit a week or so ago. No one contacted me and had even a reminder sent to me the day before. The receptionist asked me if I wanted her phone number. This is a poor way to run a business and treat customer. Again, I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Isaiah Cooper is the barber that I use here at Prince Cuts Amir. The owner has not only developed a great brand with France Gods but he has also a lot of really great barbers that work for him. Prince Cuts is not only for men but it’s for your whole family I take both my daughter and my son there to get their haircuts regularly as well. They offer everything from a simple manicure/pedicure to haircuts and beard trims to colors and perms while you got a great atmosphere with a full cash bar, and seating area to sit back and watch a good game. If you want a great haircut and enjoy some relaxation, go check a mirror and his employees out. I personally recommend Isaiah Cooper as one of the great barbers there.

Negative experience: I would avoid at all costs. One of the worst haircuts I have ever received. I think I may have got acne and an allergic reaction. I waited 2 hours.

Negative experience: I go in to see Sierra I'm getting my hair cut to my chin. I go home and actually get to look at it after my shower. I have pieces that are 2 in too long other pieces that are choppy other pieces that are 2 in too short when it should be straight across. The only way to fix this is to do a bob so everything can be blended because it's a mess. I paid for that haircut. I call Sierra she gets me back in promises to fix it. While I'm in her chair I have to have her fix it twice again because not only the last time she cut it up to my jawline and not my chin. But now it's not the same length on either side. I have not one but two boxes on the sides of my head where it is not blended it is cut straight across halfway down my hair. Then she charges me a second time although she's supposed to fix the first one She messed up the second one too and I still got charged. I have since blocked her on Facebook because I will not go back to that salon or her. There's a minimum 25% tip plus the charge of the cut I'm sorry but this is not $100 haircut This is horrible. I will not return I will not give her any business I smiled and told her thank you but never again. I am upset because I am out $100 and my hair is a flipping mess. This salon is 30 minutes away from me that's an hour drive both ways twice I've taken this trip and I'm out all of the money. She literally charged me her mess up and then made the haircut worse. I didn't think it could get worse but it does. She needs further training she needs more schooling she needs something because this is horrible.
Fantastic experience: Smiley is amazing! He cuts my 17 yro son’s hair, and the only person he will go to! He has since sent a couple friends and they all like him a lot! Even if we have to drive from Gtown, it’s worth it! Shout out Smiley!

And not just cut hair I mean they're top notch and the barber shop itself has a bar in the back they also do eyebrows, it's a spa as well, they got a women's hair salon on the other side so yeah they do it all and they do nails to. 5 stars NO DOUBT ❤️

Negative experience: I honestly hate writing this review, because as a business I appreciate their approach with presentation & professionalism. They are the most upscale shop in town by far. Amhir (the owner) is a great guy and every interaction I’ve had with him has been pleasant, not too mention what he does for the local community. Now that I’ve gotten all of that out of the way, if you are a professional or on any semblance of a schedule, AVOID this shop at all costs. I came here the first 2 years they were open, and every single cut was started late by at minimum 15 mins, with several instances where I was switched to another barber because of scheduling conflicts. I come here now as a back up to my other 2 barbers (who I followed after they left Prince) when I can’t get in during normal hours. Still, if you have an appointment & the barber you are scheduled with is assigned a walk in 5 mins after you are scheduled to begin your cut? That’s a problem. I was in the shop 10 mins before my scheduled appointment, checked in. Once or twice, okay but it’s a consistent issue. I come here as an absolute last resort, and somehow they still leave me disappointed every time. I appreciate the stylist running the desk doing her best to hold it down and help, but the inconvenience is still there. I’m writing this at 7:49, with a scheduled appointment for 7, and the walk-in cut is still going. I have no choice but to wait. Great cuts but fully incapable of telling you when you will actually receive it. If I’m going to pay a premium, at least provide a premium customer service experience. You use a digital booking process, if your desk guy can’t run a POS system, please don’t rely on him to throw audibles at the schedule. A few tweaks to the flow of this shop and they would be the best, but what they’ve overlooked is glaring and ruins the entire experience. Brayden gave me an amazing fade, I just I could’ve gotten it at my appointment time. 7 pm appointment, left the shop at 8:45.

Negative experience: They don't know what they're doing here. Today my husband took my kids to get their hair cut here. The guy who cut their hair cut off one kid's ear and another kid's eyebrow. They got them cut horribly. My God, I feel sorry for my little kids. I do not recommend this place at all. This is for a lawsuit. They should have people who know how to do their job properly.

Negative experience: I got my hair cut by the owner and he was supposed to be the best one and he was rough he cut to much off he left a section of the back long and he cut the rest too short and on the sides it was supposed to be a low fade but it turned out a high skin fade and it is uneven and I couldn’t go to school because how bad it is

Negative experience: I asked for an inch off and a low taper fade and he was super aggressive at the start and went up and kinda gave me a skin fade and it was a high fade and was a bit more than inch. He also made the fade uneven and did it in 10 minutes and left like he didn’t want to be there. I payed $60 for this and tipped 10% this guy is the 5 star owner who is supposed to to give the best cut.

Fantastic experience: I have been using Chad Humes as my barber for the past couple of years. He has always been fantastic and never had to worry about a bad haircut cut. Rest of the place is always nice and easy.
Negative experience: I don’t even know where to start - I called before I went and made sure that they had a barber that could cut a one and a half year old’s hair. They assured me that they did. I took my son, paid $80 for two hair cuts, and I’ll be paying for a third today because of poor judgement on either management or the COSMETOLOGIST’s behalf. The lady started by telling me that she has very little experience AND that she’s not a barber, she’s a cosmetologist. We left before the haircut was complete, not to mention my son has a line across his head from the clippers AND 3 cuts on the back of his neck + one behind his ear. Don’t take your child here unless they are willing to sit 100% still. Even if they say it’s okay, it won’t be.

Positive experience: Get my haircut here all the time, and have since they were at the other location. I legit get a no guard buzz cut and my beard trimmed and lined up. Usually costs $52-54 after tip… I went today, was there for all of about 15 minutes. Cost me $78 after tip (I tip 20ish % every time)… almost $100 for a buzz cut and a beard line up for 15 minutes. That’s CRAZY!! Cool people but damn, too pricey for me.

Negative experience: Quality environment and staff. However scheduling is hit or miss. Twice I’ve scheduled a basic trim, showed up on time, and still waited 35+ min. Make sure you have plenty of extra time in your day..

Negative experience: Inconsistent; I get a bald fade on the sides of my hair, on two separate occasions they’ve cut it crooked. Both times didn’t notice till I got home, the first time I called, drove back down there, and gave the guy a second chance. He still couldn’t get it right, so I just accepted it, was polite, and left. I specifically avoid going to this guy, and my most recent haircut this dude talked to his coworkers the entire time and cut it crooked; spun me in the chair to see in a way that I couldn’t tell immediately it was crooked, noticed when I got in the truck, and decided I’ll just wear a hat for a week until I can go somewhere else. I’m not coming back to your shop multiple times or having to double and triple check that my lines are straight all the way around before I get up for barbers charging $35 for a haircut. Why would you employ two different barbers who can’t do a fade where the two sides of your clients head look the same.

Fantastic experience: I recently had to find a new barbershop, which is one of life’s mildly terrifying experiences. I bounced around for a couple cuts trying to find the right fit. After getting a month past due and looking desperately shaggy, I needed a cut in a bad way. Prince Cuts was close, so I thought why not. It’s a little more youthful and hip than my typical establishments, but I couldn’t be more pleased. Chad gave me the best cut I’ve had in recent memory, and the place was very comfortable. I’m already booking my next one, and I think I’ve found my new spot for years to come.
Negative experience: This was my first time so i wasnt sure what to expect. The staff and website were nice but tbe service was lacking. I chose the razor shave and haircut and the service seemed fine until i got home and my wife began laughing. She asked what they did to my head. In her words it appeared they tried to cut my hair with a fork. Unfortunately after looking closely in the mirror I had RANDOM hairs all over my head and that looked horrible. Be warned if you go for the same service. I definitely expected a clean shave. I re-shaved my own head at home.

Positive experience: I’ve only been cut here twice and it was a good experience. The other two times I have made an appointment with ace. He no called no showed for both of them. Didn’t bother to text either. It’s a shame because I liked the first cut by him. If you care about your time do not get cut by ace. I’m sure the other barbers there are punctual and value your time.

Negative experience: I scheduled an appointment just to show up and not be on the schedule. It was intended for the nail tech to do the braid portion but I was told she is focusing on nails and that she is booked up. I have an email showing that I was suppose to get 2 different services. They canceled the one service without trying to earn my business or make it right.

Fantastic experience: Prince cuts is by far the standard for barbering in the city of Lexington in the state of Kentucky. They have Las Vegas style amenities, right here in the heart of the Bible built from their immaculate chairs to their awesome ambience. You simply cannot beat this place. I've been friends with for over 12 years now when he had three Barber chairs in a dream, and with the help of his lovely wife, they have built into Lexington's premier barbershop, and she has a top-notch salon in the exact same building. You could ask for a better experience. Not to mention, he is constantly hiring new talent, and pushing the envelope on what it means to be stylish and sharp. We all know when we get out of the Barber chair and we get an excellent haircut the way that we look at ourselves we look left and we look right and in our minds we say yeah I'm looking damn good, Every time when I hit Prince Cutz Royal Parlor!!!
Positive experience: Made my appointment at 1130 on a Friday to see Bear. My appointment was at 9am on Saturday. When I get to the shop I was told that I wasn't on the schedule but Bear would be in soon and do my cut. I waited in the lounge for about 20 min before I was told that Bear called in. Not very professional. Update: on may 8th I was contacted by the owner to give them another try. Glad I did because it was the best haircut I had received in a few years.

Negative experience: Made an appointment for 6:15 pm on Saturday and when I showed up they told me that I was not in their system. I showed the lady at the front where I had pending charges from them on my credit card so she went to the back to talk to the owner Amir who I made the appointment with and was refused my appointment. The owner did not even care enough to come talk to me in person or even offer an apology for the mistake they made. I will never go back to this business again.

Negative experience: I am not usually one to post reviews, but after today I am extremely frustrated. My husband has been a customer here for probably two years, maybe longer? I’ve gotten a massage there, and had a wonderful experience. He had great experiences several times, but the last few have been far from satisfactory. Part of this is due to wait time, but today took the cake. He had an appt at 2:40. After almost an hour of waiting he went to ask the front desk what was taking so long and the barber he was scheduled with said he is sorry that for some reason he thought he canceled so he had started cutting his brothers hair instead. (No idea why he thought this??) My husband politely sat back down and said he would wait. After another hour of waiting he asked again how much longer it would be (he has a pregnant wife and family at home and I was growing rather impatient at this point,) and another barber volunteered to cut his hair, thankfully. He said when the other guy finally finished his brothers hair he said something about “sorry man my brother is picky.” We are NOT complainers, but this is inexcusable. Unfortunately he won’t be back. When you pay good money for a haircut it’s very off putting to be leaving three hours after your scheduled time and still have to pay full price.

Negative experience: Would not recommend coming here! The person ruined my beard that took me months to grow out. Took clippers to it and went half way down my jaw line. Had no idea what he was doing, Then charged me $35 after ruining my beard, apparently that was after taking the beard trim off my bill and giving me a discount.

Negative experience: First, let me say I believe this is my first ever Google review. I could be wrong but I think so. So, I wanted to do something special for my husband for Valentines day. Something he would not do for himself. I wanted to pamper him (or have him pampered with a nice experience). I went in on Wednesday Feb 14 to buy/schedule him an appt. The young lady at the desk was very pleasant. I explained he is bald and shaves his head but I wanted him to have a good relaxing experience. She suggested a hot towel treatment as well as a hot towel facial. I also let her know he had a beard and may want it trimmed or cut. We settled on a hot towel and razor shave on his head and a hot towel facial with whatever he wanted to do to his beard. I asked "do I pay now"? She took my card and put on file; saying that if she charged me now, it would "check him in". I was agreeable to this. I even gave my phone number for texts, etc. in case there was a confirmation. He was confirmed with Chad for Saturday the 17th at 11:00. He arrived at 11:00. I dropped him off thinking he would be a while. May I add, he was very excited and eager. He called me at exactly 11:30 saying he was finished. Excuse me, what? He said "I will explain when you get here, I'm very aggravated". Exactly what I didn't want from this experience. When he arrived, he was greeted and taken to Chad's area. He was given a tour at some point as well. Chad came in introduced himself and said what are you here for? My husband being the quiet, kind, and introverted person he is, said I'm not sure my wife booked for me. Chad proceeds to not shave his head but buzz his head (WHICH IS BALD AREADY) He had to come home and shave himself. He did trim his beard a little. THATS IT... I assume he went the clean it up route. I was so disappointed and so was he. He assumed, as well as myself, since I have a lengthy conversation while scheduling in person, that he would go in and get what I scheduled for him. To say that we both feel cheated would be an understatement. Why did I waste my time? It was a surprise that failed miserably, not to mention the price we paid for a bald head buzz and beard trim.

Fantastic experience: This upscale baber shop is the best on the area. All the babers are skilled and it seems like an around the way shop. The atmosphere is like no other and the people are very boss mode. I enjoy it so much and my 12-year-old loves going as well. His favorite Barber is Chase. He's very good with kids. Aladdin cuts my hair and I wouldn't have it any other way.

My appointment was at 15:30 and I sat down in his chair at 15:32, I explained as best I could and showed him a couple screenshots from my phone and he went to work and gave me EXACTLY the haircut I wanted. He is very detailed and does great work and he doesn’t rush, I will definitely be back and I suggest everyone else gives them a try too.

(40 plus tip) When my son walked out to the car I was in disbelief. We will NOT be coming back. Negative experience: My son has been going to Isaiah for awhile. The haircuts are usually decent but everything was off this visit. The fade was bad. His hair wasn’t even and it really didn’t look good. When I asked him to spend a little more time on it he became noticeably upset and only spent about five more minutes before telling me that was all he was willing to do and he didn’t care if I came back. He had an attitude and was running his mouth the whole time I was checking out which was extremely stressful for myself and my son. We definitely won’t be back and I don’t recommend this barber.

Negative experience: I scheduled an appointment with Chad and accidentally scheduled it for the wrong day. I thought it was Sunday but it was actually Saturday so I missed the appointment. This had never happened before. It was a one time thing and I always tipped him very well when I came to him. I was still charged which is fine. It was my fault. I made another appointment and then drove 30 minutes to get there. He refused to cut my hair. He never spoke to me. Just kept cutting other people's hair while I was standing right there and I had an appointment. He was very unprofessional and really a jerk to be honest. People make mistakes bro.

Negative experience: Great Barbers, Amazing atmosphere, but lack of respect for their customers. Scheduled an appointment and the barber didn’t show up. Wasted my time when I could’ve went elsewhere with my business. To inform the customers that if we don’t cancel or show up completely without calling before a certain time, we’re charged a fee. Negative experience: Love this place! Love the vibe. They do great work. As far as cutting hair and everything else they do. It's upscale. But at the end of the day after I had spent hundreds of dollars to have my girlfriend pampered, they double charged my account wiped all of my money out so that I could not take her out to her birthday dinner where I plan to propose. Then when I called to talk to them about it, they tried to explain to me how bank accounts worked and said they didn't mind if I never came back.

Negative experience: Recently went to get a haircut with Isaiah, he seemed pretty cool and an easy person to talk to, but he lacked in performance. Not only did he ruin a few months worth of hair growth, but he made a fit about fixing his mistake claiming that it’ll push him behind with his schedule. In my honest opinion, I fully believe he purposely did a terrible job due to my criticism when he first showed me a haircut that I did not even ask for. He did not properly blend the lines between the fade, one side was higher than the other, I asked for an inch of and he ended up cutting off around two inches instead and completely ignored what I asked him to do. He ruined my hair and I do not recommend going to him.

Negative experience: FYI they save your credit card information on file without letting you know. moreover, from my understanding, anyone has access to that info. the haircuts ive gotten have gone down hill, with the latest one leaving my hair lop sided, blowing the air pressure gun in my ear and drenching my entire face with the water atomizer.
Hey irving Card info stored is not accessible by anyone the only thing we see is the last 4 numbers that we ask you to verify at check out if you want to make checking out faster. Our cancelation policy states that if you book online or use a card it is automatically stored on file. We do apologize for the miss hap with your last cut I assure you if you use a level 2 or higher you won't be disappointed. Our level ones are in a building stage and we're able to grow them pretty quickly but some things do happen don't be afraid to let the desk know we can rectify the issues before you leave. Fantastic experience: I was looking for a place to get my hair cut since I was annoyed at going to great clips and telling them what I want and them just shearing me haha. In all seriousness though I’ve been going here for a while seeing Smiley, and every time I’ve gone I’ve walked out with exactly what I had in mind. Sure, the price is slightly more expensive than your Great Clips and places like that, it’s more than worth it. I’d recommend here to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I have gotten multiple massages from Shabrea there & I will definitely be back! She lets me listen to my choice of podcasts while I’m getting the massage, and the table is heated. She puts me to sleep every time, so relaxing! I even bought my friend a gift card to use after she has had her baby. Can’t recommend more!!

Negative experience: Every other experience has been decent but today I was supposed to have an appointment with a barber at 6:30 for a haircut and beard lineup when I showed up the receptionist told me that the barber that was supposed to cut my hair wasn’t even there and showed no appointment for me even though I called 24 hours in advanced to book it with some guy who answered the phone and instead of apologizing or trying to help me sit up another appointment she decided to try to help 3 other people with their services! Will be looking for another shop if this is how it’s gonna be! Also when I spoke to the guy the prior day before he kept saying the wrong time of 6:00 pm instead of 6:30 pm so I should’ve known he had no idea what he was doing!!
