Negative experience: Took my son to get a hair cut . Went on the website and asked for Aj who on there website says he’s best at kids haircut. Honestly I feel like they put my son with a someone who learning botched my son haircut hair edge up . We had to come back in and fix what he could . And still paid 30 dollars knowing he did a bad hair cut I do not recommend

Every man in the shop spoke and asked how we were doing. The ambiance is amazing and the music brought back old school vibes. The owner cut my sons locs off for his birthday, asked me if I wanted to keep them instead of just throwing them away and gave me his recommendations on how low my sons hair should be cut. He really did amazing, love the customer service, highly recommend this barber shop and I will definitely be back.

(mind you, I JUST moved to Houston) The service was 10/10… kudos to the owner for setting up a program for the young black boys to learn some customer service skills! We were welcomed and tended to by a young teen. He offered us water and made sure to sweep up ANY hair he saw on the floor, consistently! The vibes of this establishment were clean, welcoming & immaculate. Very family oriented! I can definitely see myself coming here for YEARS to come! Bonus points for the Christmas donations box! Fantastic experience: My daughter had been dreading taking my grandson to get his first haircut. He is 3 and she was dreading it for a couple of reasons…1. She didn’t want to cut his beautiful curls and 2. She thought he was going to hate it. This haircut was 2 years in the making. And today she decided was the day “and we better hurry up before I change my mind”. She has been google searching and I have been asking around for those 2 years at who a good barber would be for a kids first cut. She found Cory at Fade Da Nawf. What a Godsend Cory was. He cut his hair with precision and patience and I can’t thank him enough for his excellence. They had the jamz playing and when he started the cut Mary J Blige was on the radio… I believe there was a little Devine intervention here as my late wife loved her and also loved eagles which Cory has a couple of eagles tattooed on his arm. We can’t recommend this place enough. We will be back. Thank you again Cory and Fade Da Nawf
