Fantastic experience: Very professional, good customer service. They display consistency, even though this was my first visit I can tell by how the barbers conduct themselves. A trait that is lacking in the barbershop community.

Positive experience: Yesterday, I waited almost an hour to get a haircut. As I waited patiently for my haircut, I noticed a barber stole another barber's client so that he wouldn't have to cut my hair. Normally I would’ve walked out but something told me to wait. The other barber was visibly upset and I don't blame him. Barbers aren't supposed to steal clients especially when they work together in the same barbershop. While this drama was happening, Tamika stepped up, took me on as her client. Tamika gave me a crispy clean edge up!!! Her haircutting skills are masterful and she even apologized on behalf of her bias colleagues. If you do decide to go to V's barbershop and want fair and unbiased service, I strongly suggest requesting Tamika. Thank you again Tamika for making my first time experience a great one! P.S. Fantastic experience: Martin did it again! So consistently good, my son always leaves with a smile on his face

Negative experience: Not once, but twice now I come in for an appointment, and they instead seat the walk inside before me. First time I asked for a specific barber, and he took someone right before I came in, five minutes early to my appointment. Now, I was willing to go with anyone, and even with two barbers available, they each took walk ins before me. I arrived before my appointment again and waited ten minutes after thinking I would be next. You would think at the price point they would at least honor appointments but that's clearly not the case here.

Fantastic experience: Went here a few weeks ago. Eber was kind and knowledgeable. I showed up near closing time and Ever stayed after closing time to make sure that I got my haircut which showed great customer service.

Negative experience: Usually I’m able to just get a back and side taper with no lineup for under $20. During my last visit I asked for the same thing, specifically saying I didn’t need an edge up, yet the barber still decided to edge me up and charge me $40. Never going back.

Fantastic experience: I bring my 86-year-old dad here for his favorite field trip. It's so wonderful. We don't even mind that shaving a haircut no longer cost two bets lol. Jay takes amazing care of him and he gets a great shave and a haircut. He even enjoys the pampering.

Fantastic experience: This shop has top tier talent when it comes to barbers. I’ve gotten haircuts from 4 different barbers there and they have all turned out great. Today I went back to martin and I would rate my haircut a 20/10!! Absolutely crushed it and would highly recommend coming in to the shop and getting a cut by any one available, as I mentioned they all know what they’re doing.

Fantastic experience: I had to wait a little past my appointment time because every chair was occupied, but it didn't take long, and the wait was worth it. Kenneth was able to interpret what I wanted, considering I didn't know all the correct phrases and gave me a great cut. I've got a lot of compliments for my new look for a week now. He was good at putting me at ease, and the banter in the room was fun to be a part of. The result was worth every penny, and I'll definitely recommend V's to others.

Fantastic experience: My first visit was not what I came to expect from V's but Justin made it sure it was addressed promptly. My second visit was night and day difference. Martin cut my hair and was excellent. He understood what I was trying to get done and was very professional and friendly.

Fantastic experience: Great place for men to go! They use Reuzel products!! If you walk into a place and they have Reuzel, they are pro's. In my visit, I got a beard trim and the dude did a fantastic job in shaping and matching it to my face. If i didn't have thick long hair, I get my cuts through these guys. If you need a high and tight or anything else along those lines, come see these guys and feel like the man you are. In current times, there's fewer of us "men" around. This is the place for you and me bud.

If I was in a rush i might have minded given i was expecting to be in for maybe 15 minutes and it ended up being over double but even though it was a lot more than i asked for the price didn’t reflect that and was cheaper than I expected. Staff are fun and you can tell they really enjoy each others company and radiate good energy. I could really see the connection they have with other regulars. Fantastic experience: I've been getting my haircut by the same person in Katy for several years, but recently changed jobs and unfortunately she's not as convenient any longer. This V's Barbershop in the Energy Corridor is about 3 minutes from my new job. I've wanted to find a new regular barber that I can gen in and out of during a lunch break, and I think Q might be the one. As others have said, he's skilled and meticulous and wants you to be pleased with the outcome. Very happy with the cut and the experience. Will certainly be back.

Fantastic experience: My son’s hair was getting out of control and we had to get his rizz back. We were a walk in but we got seated right away. It looks like a traditional looking barber shop with the nice chairs and TVs all over. They had beers and sodas to enjoy while you get your cut. It also smelled really good in there. Nick was our barber and he did a really great job and he used this dry texture powder to give his hair texture without stickiness. 5 stars.

Negative experience: If you're seeking a salon that values punctuality, this isn't the one. Despite scheduling my boy's haircut for 1:00 pm and emphasizing my need to leave by 1:30 pm, we waited for 25 minutes. Unfortunately, we couldn't complete the haircut, making me late for my next appointment. Disappointing disregard for our time; I don't recommend this place.

Fantastic experience: I actually travel to Houston on a weekly basis, so I was in search of a place I could get haircuts here, so not to take away from time with my family back home. I have tried out 3-4 different places, and then founds V's. It's close to my apartment, so obviously that's a plus. But more importantly, the staff is genuinely courteous and welcoming. The facility is very clean, and in a nice shopping center. Martin, does a great job, not only being a stylist, but also conversationally. I find that very important as well. I am a loyal customer now, and plan to be for years.
