Negative experience: Bro I came in August for a mid taper and 1 inch trim off the top, I had longer hair that probably reached to my nose and lip area, when my cut was done, my curls were all gone and my hair was in the middle of my forehead ‍♂️‍♂️, I see why they’re closed now

Negative experience: Unsatisfactory to say the least. Was promised to one barber whom I was told works with curly hair, this did not happen. We got a barber named Jay. Never going to use him again. Tore through my sons curly hair. Rough unprofessional attitude when asked to fix the bulk that his hair still had. I was then told by Jay “ Well he had a lot of hair.” At which time I told him, “Yes I know that’s why we are here.” When I brought up changing it or fixing it he did not want to do it stating he gave my children what they asked for, looking at me like I was the problem. No sir, uneven hair on one side compared to the other is the problem. My other son (not curly hair) didn’t even look like he got a hair cut at all. He trimmed both their hair and charged me like he did something that I wanted done. If I am paying it had to be done to my specifications. Not all services were performed either, for example no hot towel service and any of the other services I was told that came with the cut. Additionally, I was charged more than I was told I would be and when I mentioned this I was told price was set by the barber. I no longer trust this barber shop and will not be coming back. My review is based on my experience. Sadly, I did not trust them to fix the lack of skilled “haircut” my sons got from Jay. I’d like a manager to contact me and reach out to at least understand why this happened. Not sure if I will get that, but the service and cut was atrocious and not worth the $110 I was bullied into paying. Policy is to leave a credit card, I was told that in order to make an appointment I would have to leave a credit card card on file. Buyer beware.

Negative experience: I do not recommend it. The owner’s presence is overwhelming. He is rude and all over the place policing and constantly telling the barbers how to do their job, makes people feel uncomfortable. From my understanding he’s not even a barber. He is the reason I will never go back. Since Antonio, Jose and Aden left the barbershop has gone downhill. If for whatever reason you do go here, book with Josh. He’s the only decent barber there.

I was in sitting sitting while my husband was getting a lineup and I noticed the owner, Juan, teaching a younger barber about cleanliness and it was very good to see the mentorship that the owner and founder of the shop was instilling in his staff. I know they’re going very far. And I was happy with my husbands lineup also.

Negative experience: Overcharged. I know this is the city and things are typically higher in the mall than they are elsewhere. I took my 5 yr old nephew to get a haircut before his departure back home. Not really much hair but just wanted a bald fade and a line. A week and half ago in Houston I took him to a barber paid $25.00 tell me why today I paid $65.00 for haircut? Looking at the price list his haircut not even supposed to be that much and then I tipped $10.00. I respect a person craft but for a 5 yr old cut to be that expensive is highway robbery anywhere you go. I would never ever go there again and wouldn’t recommend. I believe they charge people what they want because no price list is visible inside the store but there is one online. Had I seen the prices before hand I would have never! My nephew is happy with his haircut but as the person paying for the haircut; it was extremely too much!

Negative experience: First and LAST experience at this place. I was a walk in and my barber was Marcelino. The place was nice and clean so I expected a professional haircut from someone that knew his trade. I requested a high FADE. A good barber knows how to fade, and Marcelino just to the shaver and went up my scalp with ZERO fade abilities!! I got worried when he kept using the shaver and didn’t really use the trimmers. The result? A MOHAWK!!!! I was very angry and they still charged me for a terrible haircut!! I told this person this was a bad haircut and now I have to let me hair grow out because he didn’t know how to cut hair!!!! Terrible experience!!!!

Fantastic experience: I was a walk-in desperately needing what I thought was a trim. Little did I know I needed a real haircut. So them a picture of what I wanted and that’s what I got. My barber was Joe who did a great job especially with the guidance of Sean who is the master trainer. BEST CUT AND EXPERIENCE I’VE EVER HAD in a barber shop.

Fantastic experience: I came into Houston for a haircut and he got me right. For reference I’m Asian so I got straight/wavy hair. Marcelino really knew what he was doing — super clean fade actually took his time to get it perfect. Chill vibe the whole time, and you can tell he takes pride in his craft. My brothers were there too and he treated them real nice too. Definitely one of the best cuts I’ve had, I’ll be back for sure next time I’m in town.

Negative experience: What a terrible showing of customer service. Was once a longstanding customer. Will never return. Booked an appointment for 4 pm. Was called and asked to move my appointment to “optimize” their schedule. I agreed, left work early, and got there for my requested appointment. Only to find out that they took a walk-in in my place and I’d have to wait. I left work early to accommodate their schedule. Rushed to the apt. And they still wasted my time.

Fantastic experience: Very professional great place to get a haircut not many places offer their selection of amenities that this barbershop does. This is a really good barbershop if you need a haircut and your inside the Houston Galleria.

Negative experience: I had a terrible experience because I wasn’t even supposed to have an appointment with Joe. I had a scheduled appointment with Josh at 815, but when I showed up for said appointment. He said that he had just started on someone at 810 and wouldn’t be done for 20 minutes. This was very upsetting because I had already been asked the day before to push back my appointment to 815 from 745 the day before due to issues that the business and the barber were at fault for. To still “accommodate” me Josh offered up different barbers who could cut my hair at the moment. I was not allowing this business or anyone else associated with this business to waste any more of my time I reluctantly agreed to one of the substitutions offered. When the person who I believe is called Joe came from the back, he had wet hands and just looked discombobulated. The cut that I received was subpar when compared to the price paid. This is another reason I booked with Josh he only charged me $25.00 for my cut last time. I’m assuming because the cut I request is straightforward, but this substitution charged me 45.00. Which we both know was not earned or deserved, but was done solely cause of greed. Now I will concede that I booked the service for $45.00 due to this being the least inexpensive offering, but it is apparent that the price is subject to change based on the discretion of the barber as noted above. Lastly, I no longer will be booking with this establishment or any of its associations for the reasons that the services rendered are not equivalent to the price listed and the lack of professionalism & competence of its barbers.

Fantastic experience: These guys are running a good show. Team work is their priority. Sean took care of my haircut. I don't have a very traditional haircut because I have fairly long hair. He out did himself. They believe in team work. One guy sat me down, the other one got me prepared, then Sean showed up to work his magic. While the haircut was going on, another gentleman came to clear everyone's working area to keep them clean and presentable. Price was also very fair, which gave me margin to leave a good tip. Thank you guys .

Fantastic experience: I'm a 20-year old Asian guy who's really particular about my hair (I usually cut it myself). After a bad haircut at home, I had to call in reinforcements, and Marcelino did an amazing job with my hair. Super communicative. It's awesome having a barber who asks the right questions to get the cut right. Especially with Asian hair. All the staff treated me super well. Walked in at 1215 on a Friday with no reservation, had a 30-minute wait (expected, not a problem). Dude at the front desk was super friendly and was able to fit me in to the schedule. I paid $45 for a cleanup/trim and a low taper.
