Fantastic experience: Great service, fast and efficient. The customer service was excellent and they even threw in a free wash and shampoo. I had a hard time figuring out what hair style I wanted since I hadn't cut my hair in over a year, but they did wonderful. Highly recommend coming here

I had gotten a hair cut just a couple days before arriving in Orlando for our vacation. He had noticed right away my neck line was way far up. He went above and beyond and was able to blend it in and make it look clean and fresh. If you book an appointment here this is the guy you want for all services. Can't thank this man enough!!!

Negative experience: Extremely disappointed with my experience at The Barber House. Right after sitting down, I had a gut feeling it wasn’t going to go well—and once Leo started cutting, I knew he was going to make it much shorter than requested. I specifically told him I didn’t want my haircut any shorter—just a trim to clean it up and take it off the ears—and a careful trim/shaping of my full, thick mustache and beard, nothing more. Instead, I left with a haircut way shorter than asked for and an uneven mustache (higher on one side), so bad I had to shave it completely off. Now I’m forced to start my mustache growth over, which is time-consuming and frustrating. Leo is probably a good barber who’s patient and passionate (as others review him), but it felt like he only knows one style or defaults to a certain short length, which wasn’t versatile enough to listen and give me the light trim I clearly requested. This was a clear miss on execution. The manager refunded the $22 beard portion after I complained, but refused a refund of $30, despite the service not matching what was asked for. Honestly, refunding the full amount paid would’ve made me more likely to return (choosing a different barber). The shop has positive reviews overall, but this experience turned me off completely. I won’t go back. Update: Response to manger Thanks for your response and the apology— I appreciate you reaching out and trying to make it right. To clarify: On the call, I focused on the uneven mustache because that was the most upsetting part (had to shave it off entirely), and I didn’t mention the haircut length since it felt unfixable—you can’t put hair back once cut too short. The redo offer (coming back in a few days) wasn’t practical, I told you I was visiting Orlando and heading home to the Florida Keys (30+ min drive each way, pointless for a non-local). My biggest issue was the mustache mismatch—my Arab friend recommended your shop for passionate, precise facial hair work, but I ended up with a barber without facial hair who didn’t adapt to my simple trim request. A full refund would’ve gone a long way toward keeping me open to returning (with someone else). Thanks again for the refund of $22, but this experience was a negative.

Fantastic experience: Fero was very nice and gave me a very quick but awesome haircut. He was very efficient with the time and even though it was a 30 minute haircut it was the quality of an hour long haircut.

Fantastic experience: They are very welcoming and easy to talk to. Only gripe I have is that I've gotten slightly different levels of service the last two times I went. The first time I got a full 30 minutes of detailed work, trimming/shaping, neck massage, and straight razor detailing. The second time was about 13 to 15 minutes and not as much of an experience. I will say that both times I loved my haircut, but I pay the extra for the experience, so thats what I really look for. Love this place so far but maybe just had an off day appointment.

Jayden (I think) washed my hair and cut it. The wash was EXCELLENT. Just about splooged my pants the way he was scrubbing. He clearly cares about his work and did a very nice detailed job with the cut. He did pickup a call while cutting my hair which is weird but I didn’t mind, I prefer not talking anyways. He has earned a repeat customer

Negative experience: This was my third time going there. The first 2 times, I got a great haircut...plus I got a head and shoulder massage with some kind of machine that the barber used. I could not see what it was because I had a hot towel wrapped around my face and shoulders, but they gave me the works...best haircut experience EVER. It was nothing elaborate, nor did it take a long time, but I felt wonderful. I felt spoiled because had never experienced that before. I was great, and I told all of my family and friends about it. So today I come in expecting the same treatment and I was really looking forward to it. The stylist was friendly and professional. He gave me a great haircut...no problem. But...none of the extras that I was expecting. No scalp massage, no shoulder massage with the machine...no special nothing. At the end, I stayed sitting in the chair for a few moments fully expecting him to continue, but he extended his hand in a friendly gesture, shook my hand firmly and walked way to the cash register. I paid, gave my usual tip...but I felt...unfinished. This was by no means an inexpensive haircut and it was about double what I usually pay for a haircut, but the little extras, made it all worth it...or so I thought, until I did not get them. So, I have to say that I am disappointed with my experience today as I paid for something that I expected but did not receive. Having a consistent EXPERIENCE would have made me come back again and again, for years to come, but I fear that I just got a good but expensive haircut. I wish you all the best and I hope that you will bring back the Customer EXPERIENCE that made you guys great.

Fantastic experience: Brilliant Experience & Atmosphere! Needed a bit of a fresh trim/tidy up halfway through our two week holiday & these guys were absolutely mega. The receptionist stated the earliest walk-in time slot available that day, which was an hour or so later in the day, but recommended booking a slot if I knew what time I was available. The overall experience was brilliant, all barbers were very friendly & I highly recommend visiting. They provide a huge variety of services & their attention to detail, with their conversation was great. Signature Flat Top service with Uncle Moe was just what I needed!

Fantastic experience: I had a hair cut and Deluxe bear trim from the talented group of barbers at The Barber House. Roberto was my barber. I am very picky when it comes to my hair and beard. But man Roberto gave me the old fashioned barber experience with massage and a hot towel line up (straight razor blade). If your in the Orlando area. Make sure this talented group is on your list.

Negative experience: Asked for a burst fade (my hair at the time clearly resembled a grown out burst fade) guy completely botched my cut and essentially gave me a buzz cut. Any other time I would be care as much but being NYE and looking like a clown wasn’t on my list

He gave me a clean, sharp haircut with a side fade exactly the way I wanted it. You can tell he really cares about the details. His assistant, Ibra, was also amazing. He was super sweet and gave me a relaxing head massage, then finished everything off with a great hairstyle using the blower and some pomade. I walked out feeling fresh and confident! Highly recommend this barbershop—great team, great vibe, and excellent service. I’ll definitely be coming back! ✨
