Negative experience: disaster of a place and a so called barber/butcher my son asked for a mid skin fade and came out with a shaved head when the but her started saying mistake 3 or 4 times then just shaved his head do not go to this place if I could give no stars I would I repeat do not go to this place

Negative experience: When i tel you this is quite literally the worst haircut ive ever had and being quite honest its the worst ive ever seen on anyone. I swear to god its like the womans main goal was to make my head as round as possible. Ban them from scotch hall now.

Negative experience: Lad that cut my hair was really chatty but that's the reason I'm giving 2 stars skin fade and beard trim 32 euro. Robbed . Hair was nowhere near even both sides and back not faded properly looked like the chap gave me a bowl cut had to go to another barber to get sorted. Scotch hall wasn't even busy as I was getting it done.

Fantastic experience: Great price/quality ratio!

Negative experience: I've been to this place on several occasions, but I'll be looking for another barber next time. This is mainly because I had to constantly justify the type of haircut I wanted to get and even had my wishes ignored. For example, if you state that you want a razor cut with the same number all over, the barbers will try to convince you to get a scissors cut, with the back and sides shorter than the top. With one barber, I must have had to state what I wanted 3/4 times, with her suggesting another cut in-between, before she gave me the haircut I wanted. Yesterday (with a different barber), I was quite clear about wanting a razor cut, but she decided halfway through to do it a different way, and with scissors. It seems to be a trend here that they give you the haircut they want, rather than the one you want. I won't give the review 1 star as the first barber I mentioned (the one I had most often) was always friendly, despite all of the above. I also can't say that the haircuts here are bad, it's just annoying not to be listened to over and over again.

Negative experience: The back and sides were fine but they should me how much they suggested to cut off and asked me if that was ok, before I even got to answer they cut off almost double that

Fantastic experience: I had had such a positive experience and haircut today, from a short blonde haired Lithuanian lady, who listened and applied her skills without a fuss, we had a great un forced chat about all thing life can be or what you want it to be. I would recommend and I will return. thanks

Negative experience: Absolutely worst haircut i had, i explained one, she did another. Women who working there unprofessional, with short white hair. It feels like she is forced to work there. I guess she can cut sheeps on the field well.

Negative experience: Two of the three ladies here don't listen. I went multiple times with my two sons but each time they ruined our hair. Sorry guys you need to learn how to listen.

Negative experience: Horrible experience. I went in and the first issue was that the lady was just sitting on her phone and it took a good minute to get her attention. I then asked the ladies to cut my hair, I asked for a 'masculine' haircut, and was refused because she refused to cut a girls hair. She proceeded to point somewhere else and tell me to go to a women's salon. I asked her why she wouldn't cut my hair as gender doesn't affect hair but she refused. It was an unprofessional move and overall disgusting. Afterwards I went to another barber and they didn't care about my gender.

Positive experience: Good haircut and is open on Sundays.

Negative experience: Terrible and unprofessional, went in to get my hair trimmed and cleaned up, I'm a student so it was 15 euro which was fine. Go in to the barbers and it's not busy at all, the women at the counter comes over and sends me over to a chair, and asks what I want, I tell her, and she begins, her and her now free co-worker chat in what I can assume was a non work related issue l, they were speaking a different language so I have no idea, and then the women working on my hair, her phone rings so she goes over and answers it, and has it on her shoulder talking into again what i can only assume was a non work related phone call, again in a different language, the buisness is sign posted and primarily serves English speaking customers, but what annoyed me was that she was on the phone while with an electric shaver and although she had no other clients to tend to, she rushed through my hair and did what was originally an unsatisfactory job even worse by her lack of attention. She was too pre occupied on her phone. In any other work place she would have been pulled aside, she was not, and so I will not be going back to this barbers

Negative experience: Absolutely terrible. Don't no what the mans name is but I had to stop him half way through and not let him cut the top or my beard. Still got charged €15. Should have just walked out. Didn't do anything I asked him to do, done infact quite the opposite.

Negative experience: While shopping in Artane Castle today my partner decided to get our 2yr old boys hair trimmed. We have used the Boston barber before at the Swords Pavilions for our daughters and son and found the staff courteous,professional and great with children. Today at the Artane branch was a complete opposite and a huge disappointment,to say rude and unmannerly would be an understatement. We will never return to this branch because of the staff,and just hope that they(especially the female who was there)do not ruin their good name. If you have children in need of a haircut,avoid at all costs.
