Golden Scissors Turkish Barber Shop

Negative experience: Without a doubt the worst experience I have ever had in any retail setting, not just a barber shop. The guy completely ruined my beard, I tried to stop him and he played dumb. Then the owner came over, I thought to assist me, but how wrong was I. He told me the guy had poor English and it was my fault for not explaining what I wanted properly. The guy continued his hatchet job on the rest of my hair, and it was brutal. He charged me €30 for the pleasure of all this. I had to go to another barbers afterwards to see if they could undo some or the damage and in fairness to they guys in Prestige Barbers they did a pretty good job fixing it. Completely different experience in there by the way, consumate professionals they are. They were shocked at the state of the back of my head, which i hadn't seen yet. Avoid this Golden Scissors place though, its filthy dirty with a ridiculously rude owner and a money grabber to boot who wouldn't even offer a discount nevermind an apology. Zero stars. Absolutely awful. I never leave a bad review anywhere, in a restaurant I always tell the server everything was lovely even if it wasn't. But this takes the biscuit, its 5 hours later and I'm still furious.

Negative experience: Absolutely ridiculous haircut service today from this shop. Was very fast just to quickly finish. Terrible haircut had to correct at home myself.

Just posting after having a haircut, first he did haircut so fast.And while applying scissor he was literally hurting me. So unfriendly and very offensive .. Not deserve even half rating. Negative experience: My comment is to the person who wrote that I had a beard cut and it was written on the window as 15 Euros and he took 20 Euros from me and to the person who said he cut my face in three places. I have been doing this profession for 36 years and I have never cut anyone's face yet. This is a lie and another issue is the person who wants a beard cut, did you ask me how much the cut is? No because of money, you went very happy that day and I don't deserve this bad comment, these are all lies.

Negative experience: Received hot towel shave this morning, firstly cleanliness is an issue in general. He cut me in 3 different parts of my face then charged me 20 euro even though its advertised at 15 euro. My advice would be to avoid at all costs. Won't be back

Negative experience: The guy wasn't friendly which was the first issue. Not only that but he charged me €20 for a shave when it is clearly advertised as "€15 for hot towel shave" on the front window. I asked him about this and he stated that that was for hair cuts. He didn't make sense. Also he didn't do good service. Therefore I was deceived and ripped off. Won't be going back.

Fantastic experience: I recall getting my first cut and shave here nearly ten years ago and the service they provide is simply the best for the result and value for €. My last cut and hot towel shave on 15/5/22 was no exception and all for the grand total of €27! I love being able to simply walk in to Golden Scissors without making an appointment through some website or app (why is that a thing). At Golden Scissors your not bombarded and overwhelmed by a million branded hair and beard tonics or the latest shampoos and gadgets. There's no loud booming beats playing and the staff know exactly what they're about and why you're there - to simply get a hair cut - and that's perfect by me.
