Negative experience: Barber got in a bit of a scorp because said I wanted higher on fade . Was extra nice towards the end nearly sarcastic. Went to pay and was charged €25 . Same haircut was €20 two weeks ago. Barber was the older of them .

Fantastic experience: Not a chatty crowed but I wasn't there to make friends, haircut was a haircut and I looked better after than before.

Negative experience: Very poor. Ruined my sons hair. Did not give haircut he specifically asked her. Even showed him picture to help him as english poor but destroyed his hair. Barbers are not experienced enough

If you tell them what you want they will advise and do the best for you. I have some regular barbers in there and I don't even have to explain the cut! Their beard line ups are always excellent, cant replicate it at home! Really nice guys that care about their work, thanks lads

Negative experience: Not autism friendly. Brought my 6 year old boy who is autistic and non speaking in to get his hair cut because his usual barbers was extremely busy. He was sitting on my knee waiting watching super simple songs on my phone. I was making sure the volume on my phone wasn't to loud but the owner decides to crank up the music in the shop so loud I could barely hear myself think. I could feel my son tensing up, I was getting a lump in my throat so I removed him from the situation. He usually goes to Prestige in town who are so understanding of children with additional needs. I will never step foot in this shop again.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going here for 2 years now if not more also with my son. Laur always does an unbelievable job and the detail is always outstanding, well worth waiting for him. My son loves going into Laur for a haircut. Always nice when you walk in. Music on and relaxing!! If you’re looking for a fresh cut then Laur is the man to see.

Negative experience: Really bad haircut. Barbers speak to each other a lot in Romanian and are very obviously talking about you. They don't hide it well. Avoid like the plague.

Fantastic experience: The best barbers in Athlone.

Negative experience: Awful hair cut people working there keep talking Romanian to each other and have trouble understanding how you want them to cut your hair. Definitely going to try a different barber next time not worth your money here.

Negative experience: I visited today and got an uneven haircut sprayed with a little perfume for 23 euro. The barber didn't make even a little effort to communicate. Leaving the chair, I knew I just needed to go somewhere else for the correction... and my hair is short. There was no point asking for amendments. There are a good few barbers there, but to my experience, there is a good chance you'll leave disappointed if you get the one that doesn't know how to use the scissors.

Negative experience: When I asked the barber to amend something on my hair cut, he asked me "if I was a barber". When paying, they asked me if I would pay with cash, I don't carry cash, he grunted at me and charged me more than I've ever been charged there for a fair cut. Very poor experience.

Negative experience: 2 things that struck me when I was there is that they were not speaking English a big no no for me, bad manners really. And there prices is absolutely ridiculous, will not be going back!

Negative experience: Really disappointed that they rose the price to such a ridiculous amount. The lads are sound and great at their work but i wont be going back there again!

Negative experience: I have been going to League Barbers for a long time now but I will never go back. The price increases over the last year is tantamount to price gouging. Also just today they close early at 4.00 but did not post this change and only put a sign in the window. The customer care of the staff is very poor. Buck up your ideas.

Fantastic experience: I have to give it to most of these lads, they are very good at there job. I get my hair cut here every three weeks. I find the price of a haircut here has got expensive lately, especially for kids. Apart from that they are brilliant.

Fantastic experience: Great service, very professional and obviously care about giving a good service. Certainly will be a returning customer. Other reviewers seem to have an issue with the staff not speaking in English to each other - I didn't mind it; was able to speak normally with my barber but I'm generally happy to sit quietly.
