My young lad wanted a buzz cut, which I was nervous about, but Kyle reassured me, explained how it would look and then went to work. My lad absolutley loved him, they chatted about football and other sports. He was chuffed with the cut and loved the design on the side. Will definitley be back and will be booking in advance with Kyle

Negative experience: Last time I was there I was made to wait 20 mins and this time when I was 15 mins late they cancelled my appointment and took some walk in without even informing me or giving me a call. I tried calling them but the number they have on Google apparently has been out of service for the last two three years. Really disappointed, definitely won't be going there again after such an experience.

Fantastic experience: I went here for the first time after moving to the area. I looked at the great reviews and loved that I could book in with a specific barber, so I gave it a go. When I came in, I was greeted warmly and offered coffee and water. I was then brought in and one of the lads washed my hair. Gareth then sat me down and we had a chat about what I wanted. He was really knowledgeable and was one of the only barbers to understand how to cut my hair (I've a calf's lick and double crown so it can be a pain to cut). Very happy with the results and the service. It's a pricey haircut but 100% worth the money. I'm going to be booking in with Gareth for the foreseeable.

Fantastic experience: I really enjoy getting my haircuts in hawk and blade it is a very respectable and well kept barber shop with very kind staff, my preferred barber is Naglis Burbalis because he always gives the cleanest cuts and he is very good at making conversation and he cuts me very well, he keeps me looking very fresh all the time and I appreciate the time and effort he puts into my haircuts

Fantastic experience: I got asked if I wanted a drink when I walked in. Naglis one of the barbers was very attentive and made sure I was comfortable whilst I got my trim and indeed he freshened me up.

Fantastic experience: Got a haircut from naglis, amazing barber, at the time I was getting a cut my hair was grown out bad and he cleaned it up real nice with a taper and a line up. Great service too from naglis and the other barbers as well, after each cut they give you a hot steamed towel which is a plus. 10/10 experience most definitely going back

Negative experience: A below average haircut by "Roberts". I asked for short on the sides and slicked back, but ended up looking like Kim-Jung Un. I now have a lopsided mop! He spent the first 10 minutes brushing my hair and then used the thinning scissors to cut the back. After that he put wax in my hair and then keep styling it. Only then did he cut the sides. I felt like he didn't know what he was doing. At that point I just gave up and wanted to end the haircut. After the cut I asked for another quick wash. He happily obliged, but then he left me standing there. I had to ask him to blow dry my hair and put gel in it. The stylist doesn't have the technique, ability or the experience, plus he was very tentative. The first time I went to Hawke and Blade was a walk in which was a good cut. Based on the strength of that cut, I booked online with "Roberts". I can't see how you can justify charging the same amount as the owner or senior stylist, when I essentially got my hair done by a trainee. Very disappointing experience!
