Fantastic experience: Robert and the whole team are lovely! The haircut I’ve had actually changed my confidence and he has been so attentive and helpful. He’s explained the whole process and made me feel good throughout the whole experience! We live around 160 miles away from MK but will return every time as I’ve never had such a great experience! Fantastic experience: I had my first visit to Braid Barbers yesterday and it won't be my last! Robert cut and faded my hair and he did a wonderful job. It's the best shaved pixie haircut I've ever had. Robert and his team were welcoming and made me feel comfortable on arrival. This was really important to me as in the past at other barbers I have been refused service due to being a woman, despite my request for a fade and short cut on top! I also felt listened to with regards to the style I wanted to achieve and Robert was friendly and informative as he was cutting my hair. As I said before this is the best short and shaved hair cut I've had. Thank you Robert!

I would highly recommend this hairdressers to any person of any gender. This was the first man to cut my hair (usually being female hairdressers) and he has given me the best hair cut I have ever had. Don't have any doubt in his talent!

This is a huge deal..he got so anxious due to previous barbers, he put off haircuts for as long as possible, won't go in if im not sat nearby and I'm the one to show them what he wants, and usually sits quietly looking scared the whole time . He's been sooo happy since getting it done even got up earlier for school..also told me I should give him a bigger tip lol. Love it

This is easily the best haircut I’ve had since living in Germany, where my barber was the winner of the International Barber Awards, so my expectations were high. Rob was my barber, and he did a fantastic job – very friendly and professional throughout. The barbershop itself was clean and well-maintained, creating a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. I can absolutely see why Braid Barbers is so highly rated. I’ll definitely be returning!

My appointment was with Robert and he made sure to tell me his process throughout, recommended hair products that actually work, and told me how to style it myself. He also gives the best beard trim ever, I would definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience: First time going to a hair salon for many years due to previous bad experiences, I was SO nervous. I thought that if I was going to brave it, I may as well go 'all-in' - therefore, I booked in with Vivienne to have her create my DREAM hair: 'Galaxy, Mermaid, Unicorn' hair! I was welcomed and seated straight away. Vivienne is not only AMAZING at creative hair creations, but she also (imo, more importantly), has a fantastic energy about her. She made me feel relaxed, we spoke continuously, we laughed and ultimately V made me feel completely comfortable throughout my experience. I took my son to braids last week too for his first ever perm, which he absolutely loves! Will definitely be going nowhere other than to Vivienne @ Braids MK in future for both myself AND my son! Fantastic experience: Had an appointment with Vivienne for a Medium Wet Cut and it was an excellent experience. The cut is really good and feels lovely. Vivienne was friendly, kind and professional. All the people there have a good vibe about them and I'll definitely be going back when I need another haircut. Glad I took a chance on them this time round.

Fantastic experience: Got a walk in appointment which was ideal as I was in the centre. Due to mobility issues I was on an electric scooter, sometimes off putting for businesses!! But Viv made me welcome and helped to get me from scooter to chair. She gave me a great haircut- v professional, v friendly. Will definitely go again and recommend this unisex establishment to all.

Fantastic experience: Having not been able to find a barbers that actually listened to my requests, I booked here based on the positive reviews I’d read. I booked a skin fade and beard trim with Miles and cannot fault him. He was professional, friendly and before he started, took the time to discuss options and what exactly I was hoping for. He gave honest advice about the haircut, the style and length and even what kind of products to use on my scalp. Any uncertainty faded away as he worked and we chatted and I was really impressed with the quality and the finish. I will be rebooking and using Braids as my regular, go to barbers. Thank you Miles for providing such a professional service.

Negative experience: Dean. Where this bloke got the training to be a "professional barber" I have no idea. I used to get some of the best haircuts I've ever had here from the likes of drew and Jake but they have moved on now which is a shame because now they're left with only a couple good barbers. The fact I went in and asked for a "mid skin fade with an inch off the top" and left with a high skin fade and about 4 inches off the top is so infuriating. The sides do not even blend well into the top of my head ,even though I specifically asked for a bit of bulk to be left on the sides. This is by far my least favourite haircut I've ever recieved and ontop of that, it felt incredibly rushed. If I could rate it any lower than one star I would. Safe to say that I will not be coming back and I highly Recommend that if anyone is reading this, that they avoid dean.
