Fantastic experience: Five star review for these guys every time. I take my 95 year old dad for his haircut on the way to visit my mam at her carehome and they always treat my dad like a king. Nothing is too much trouble for these gents. Excellent service and a friendly welcome every time.

Fantastic experience: Lovely barbers with friendly staff. My son has been to a few different local barbers and he finds Dene Barbers by far the best for his hair cuts. They take their time so it can be bit of a wait if it’s busy but he always leaves feeling happy with his hair cut.

Fantastic experience: Ali and the team at Dene Barber’s offer a great all round professional barbering service. Hair and beard trim cut to my preference and I was asked throughout about length and choice. Exceptionally clean and hygienic way of working with the chair and table cleaned before, during and after. Complementary hot towel service was a nice gesture too. Parking available at the front and unrestricted on street. Short walk from South Gosforth Metro. Highly recommend

Negative experience: "Disappointing experience at this shop given the premium price point. I came in for a simple trim, but the barber clearly lacked the basic skills to execute it. The cut is asymmetrical, and they completely failed to cross-check the lengths. For 16£, I expected a level of precision that I simply didn't receive. I had to go elsewhere to have it fixed."

Fantastic experience: Won’t go any where else now. I live in Benton and happily walk down. I get the Turkish special which includes hair, beard, eye brows, wax on your ears and nose all for only £30. I always give them £40 without hesitation as the quality is so good. Friendly set of lads too!

Negative experience: Dreadful. I’ve been many times and have had many different barbers, some less terrible than others. Often they are distracted, taking phone calls, or just not paying attention. This is not a reliable barbers shop for anyone looking for a good haircut. I see knew, inexperienced barbers every time I go in and with no warning to their incompetence and lack of care for the haircuts they give you are sat down. Would not recommend.
