Negative experience: Arrived ten minutes late for an hour appointment and was told I was a no-show. I was refused the service and charged the full £26. I was told the reason didn’t matter and that my slot had already been given to someone else 30 minutes later. No haircut was offered, and I would have had to pay again to rebook. I’ve been here a few times before but won’t be returning. Stephen was unhelpful and showed no compassion.

I had jayde cut my hair an amazing person and took the time to make sure I was happy with my hair cut and great conversation to. I got offered a can of pop to I will definitely come back again. Fantastic experience: Had a hair replacement system fitted by Adam. Fantastic service from start to finish. Initial consultation was very thorough explaining all the benefits and colour matching my hair. Less than 3 weeks later i was in for my fitting. The hair was matched perfectly and in less than 3 hours i left with a full head of hair. Even after i was unsure of the initial style i picked, i was back in less than 24hours later and he styled it perfectly to my needs. I would recommend Kamo and certainly adam to anyone. Thank you!!

Negative experience: Sorry but have to give a poor review for my cut today. The barber who cut my hair was a lovely lad, really friendly and chatty but unfortunately needs a lot more training. My hair cut unfortunately wasn't up to scratch and I had to pay another 20 that day to get it sorted out properly at another barbers. The shop is decent and the staff seem nice but there needs to be a higher standard as my cut was all over the place.

Fantastic experience: Great spot for trims, Amaan AM is my go to guy. As a student you get it cheaper aswell and also to if you go to PureGym on top of that. My hairs hard to cut I’d say with curly and straight parts but my barber does a low skin fade perfect every time.

Negative experience: Terrible Haircut Despite the High Ratings. I don’t know how this place has such high ratings. It felt more like a loud club than a barber shop. The barber was friendly but clearly didn’t know what he was doing. Also he was in his phone all the time not obviously has not good hygiene as his nails is the longest nails I have ever seen on a man with customer’s hair inside. I asked for a basic cut and ended up with a nightmare. My hair is uneven, choppy, and the worst it’s ever been in my whole life. Good attitude can’t make up for terrible skills. Don’t get scammed!

Negative experience: 2nd visit on 3rd June. Appointment cancelled by shop and rescheduled for 30 mins later - Almost missed the email for that. Arrived on time and waited. Approached by a member of staff and was told that my appointed barber was now 'too busy to cut my hair'. and would it be ok for him to do it. Although I did have to ask him to repeat himself as the music was very loud. Not sure if the lad was a trainee, but didnt seem too confident. Average cut.

Negative experience: What a waste of time. Had an appointment for 8:30 this morning and walked over to find the place completely shut with no one around. Obviously no one picking up the phone. Thanks for nothing. Edited after seeing your comments. I booked the appointment over the phone yesterday and was told the appointment would be with a member of staff whose name I’m not going to put here. I am not sure why you chose to debate if I went there or not. Why on earth would I leave a fake review? Edit again: So why did you call me and ask me to take down the review? Grow up for god's sake. You've got good reviews on here, so just accept you don't always get it right. You don't have my name because when I made the booking over the phone I asked "do you need my name" and the guy answered "no just come at 8:30 - your appointment is with Grace". But yes, continue to insist that I'm making all of this up. You continue to insist this is “fake” which is ridiculous. You had my number presumably because your system keeps a record of the numbers that call you and when. Your staff called me and asked me if they could “see if there was anything they could do for the review to be taken down”. The fact you insist this is fake is pretty weird to be honest. Your shop doesn’t even have cctv on the frontage of the shop. Grow up.

As someone with Indian hair, I've often struggled to find a style that suits me, but Ben G. exceeded my expectations. Fantastic experience: Had no problem with walk-in, booked the closest slot for me, and Ben G did an amazing undercut fade for me, absolutely loved it. Would come back for sure.

Negative experience: This is my third time at Kamo and the environment is great. The only issue is the fruit loop that cut my hair has given me yet again a wonkey fade with very little blending and a slanted fringe. I am sick to death of this gentleman cutting my hair and should be unemployed with immediate affect. I would not recommend this fruit loop but the other gentleman around me today were excellent.

Fantastic experience: Did a fantastic job of my high fade haircut. Sadly. The beard job was terrible, quite disappointed really. Might have just had a bad experience. So maybe try again sometime. Maybe. The other reviews speak highly of the place. But sadly my experience wasn't great. Underwhelming considering I paid 8 pounds more than my usual barbers. My beard feels completely unfinished. I still have really vivid stubble on my neck. And more on my cheek. Not really good enough when I asked for a beard shape up. There's some shape to it. But again. Just looks unfinished. EDIT: received a phone call from this review and they offered to fix my beard, went back and it was done really well. very good customer service. very impressed, im very likely to return. thank you so much for fixing my beard. means alot. very understanding of the situation and it was dealt with very professionally

Fantastic experience: This was my best haircut in UK. Stephen was so amazing and creative. I had long hair but was lying flat. I showed him a couple of pictures and asked him to make it a way that its gona stay up. He took the right amount of hair from my head such that its easy to style it in a way that shows that my hair has a lot of volume (even though it doesnt ) Worth every pens. Highly recommened.

Fantastic experience: Made a reservation for before Xmas that was booked by mistake for the wrong time (different opening hours), so the booking needed to be re-arranged. The team were super accommodating, apologised for the issue and gave a discounted price for the mistake. Will definitely be returning as they gave a great cut and were very friendly!
