Negative experience: Horrible service horrible experience, went to the barbers and left without a haircut! Appointment booked for 10:30, barber doesn’t turn up and I have to physically ask the other barber where he is, only then did I found out 30 minutes later he’s not turning up. Was offered an appointment later but no good to me as I’m busy hence why I booked early morning. Do not recommend very unprofessional

I had the pleasure to meet one of the best barber I ever met, I've been looking for a good barber for about 6 months, after I've changed 20 barber shops,I finally found Rio , that gave me a haircut and a beard trim exactly how I wanted. Negative experience: Friendly staff. Got charged £40 for a haircut a day before Eid which I thought was excessive. To top it off my haircut was atrocious. I had to pay another £20 to a different barber the following day to half rectify my hair. Still recovering from the trauma. The owner was a gem of a guy though.

Fantastic experience: Friendly staff but didn't get the cut I wanted, the staff recommended and gave me a great cut, thanks AFFINITY your definitely the best barbershop in a long while.

Negative experience: Went in wanting a simple trim. The barber did a pretty decent job within 10 minutes, but then spent the next 10 minutes faffing about cutting more and more off the sides, which I told him not to as it would also cut my fringe. Lo and behold, he absolutely ruined it, leaving me with a weird v shaped fringe which he tried to fix but there wasn't much he could do at that point. He was cutting the top of my hair with scissors so haphazardly and carelessly, there was pace but it didn't seem like much skill was involved. If you want a skinfade this is your place but go elsewhere if you want anything else.

Negative experience: I came to this barbers based on reviews and word of mouth. Today I was over charged and underwhelmed. After my 15 minute haircut which was very rushed and very poor quality I was then overcharged. The price list clearly says £10 for a fade and £15 for a skin fade. I then asked him what the difference is between a fade and a skin fade.He said ' I don't know the prices I always charge £15 for a fade whether is skin or not'. In the end another barber kindly assisted and we made a compromise. A really disappointing experience overall.

Staff were nice, greeting you even before you stepped into the door, the main barber Alec was very professional and I could see he puts in a lot of effort for each haircut. The other barbers and me shared great banter and overall it was very positively different from most barber shops.

Fantastic experience: At first glance this place is quite odd. You walk in and are greeted by blaring drill music. However, the barbers are always friendly and welcome you with complimentary drinks. They'll cut your hair well and the prices are reasonable, especially if you're a student. The barbers all seem to genuinely enjoy cutting hair, meaning that while you may wait a little longer than average, you get a decent trim. And whilst the music is loud, it creates an all round less awkward feeling in the shop.

Negative experience: Just moved up for uni and needed to find a new barbers, saw good reviews and thought I’d try this one. Went in for a haircut the Friday before last. Was left waiting for a while which is fine, I don’t mind waiting for a good trim. However, since they didn’t get round to doing my hair until near to close time it was rushed in like 15 mins and completely ruined. Completely ignored the hairstyle asked for and no time or care was taken to even the hair out. The 2 sides weren’t even, Just had to go to another barbers to sort it out who said It’s going to take weeks if not months for the style to grow back. If you want a cheap fade I’m sure it’s fine but anything other than avoid.
