Negative experience: I never thought I could feel outright disgust during a haircut, but that’s exactly what happened here. 15 minutes into the cut, I saw that the barber, Sergio, had a bleeding finger. When I pointed it out, he didn’t stop—he just wiped the blood and awkwardly tried to avoid using that hand. But by then, for 15 minutes, he had already run that bleeding hand across my entire head. At that point I completely felt trapped. If I walked out, I’d be stuck with half a haircut, so I endured the rest while he used only one hand. The final straw? I left with a stain of his blood on my forehead!! This isn’t just unprofessional. It’s a blatant health hazard! I’ve been coming here for over a year and had good experiences with other barbers, but after this appalling incident, I will never return. Absolutely disgusting.

Fantastic experience: I went into Evolve because I had a last minute event for which I needed a haircut and my usual barber was unavailable. I expected to only visit this barbershop once. However, after an awesome experience getting a haircut by Darwin, its impossible to not go back. Not only did Darwin listen to my requests, but he made suggestions which turned out better than what I was asking. Because of his attention to detail, skill, talent and good conversation, I will definitely be coming back. The barbershop's prices are very reasonable and with the talented barbers working there, you are getting more than your money's worth.

Fantastic experience: I’m a cruise ship singer who was visiting Vancouver. I’d got a perm at another salon earlier on in the day and I was very underwhelmed by it. I didn’t feel good about how my hair looked… I walked into Evolve to get a fade and beard trim… up stepped Jorge. This brother put me back in the game and I decided to take a little bit off the top in the end to tidy up my perm. I left feeling so much better. Like a new man and it’s all thanks to Jorge. Such a nice dude and a master of his craft. I’ll be visiting again in 2 weeks for my very last Vancouver visit on my cruise :( but will recommend Jorge and the team at Evolve to all. Fantastic experience: Sammy was wonderful. She gives the hairdresser and barber experience which is what I was hoping for. Hairdressers know how to cut a style, barbers are incredible at the classic 'sharp' look, not all barbers are hairdressers. Sammy did both and it's such a shame I live in England otherwise Sammy would be my new barber/hairdresser (hairber!). A great shop, friendly and helpful staff...

Negative experience: I’ve been to this barbershop a couple of times before and the barbers were okay. But this time was terrible. The barber was extremely rude, rough with the clippers, and gave me a terrible haircut. Now I have to go to another place to fix it. Very disappointing.
