Negative experience: I’ve been going to this barbershop for years, but this was my last visit. I was charged an adult price for a child’s haircut just because the child asked for a zero fade on the sides. This was not explained beforehand. When I questioned it, the staff were rude and indifferent. At payment, the manager spoke in their own language to staff and decided the final charge without explaining it to me. Very unprofessional. I’m extremely disappointed and will not be returning.

Fantastic experience: It was a few days before Christmas and I needed a cut badly - I stopped to grab a coffee at Tim Hortons in Avenida and noticed Razor 's Edge Avenida was right there so I decided to stop in. I was greeted promptly and paired up with a lovely gal by the name of Alli. The cut I normally get is a fade/skin fade and Alli was up for the task. She made me feel at ease and was very personable with small talk and we had some laughs as well. Alli is very meticulous with her work taking her time to get the cut perfect. Well, the cut turned out exactly what I wanted and I was very pleased with it! Did I also mention that the head massage was the cherry on top! Thanks again Alli and I'll see you again for sure!

Fantastic experience: I booked my appointment online with Mo initially— super smooth booking process, so so so easy to do — but ended up getting my haircut from Omar, and holy shit, this guy is unreal. I showed him two pictures of a cut I had 3 and a half years ago, and he nailed it. Actually, screw that.. he made it better than I remembered it being and even imagined. I’ve got a job interview coming up, and he made me look clean, sharp, confident — exactly what I wanted. But the haircut wasn’t even the only best part. Talking to him felt like chatting with a new and yet old friend. We shared stories about fatherhood, grandparents, life… and he made me feel completely comfortable. For such a young man, he gave me some seriously good advice and helped me feel better about a few heavy things I’ve been dealing with lately. He’s talented, genuine, and the kind of person you look forward to seeing again. Omar is LITERALLY my go-to guy from now on — at least for as long as he’ll have me. My dog, you crushed it. Positive experience: Overall, it’s a great barbershop with skilled staff and a good atmosphere. However, I was a bit disappointed when I was charged $42 for an 8-minute trim. The barber actually wanted to give me a discount since it was just a quick zero fade on the sides, but the manager insisted on charging full price. That left a bad impression at the time. Still, I decided to give them another chance later when I had longer hair—and that time, I definitely got my $42 worth.

Fantastic experience: My Barber was a fella named Gus and he gave me one the better hair cuts I’ve ever had in about 20 minutes, and he has to fix the previously poor haircut I had. I waited 10 minutes since I just walked in and the wait was comfortable.
