Fantastic experience: Absolutely wonderful service, my son has ASD, ADHD and Anxiety, I could not have asked for more when he was given a fruit popper and the best possible entertainment from the hair dresser. Provided the best humour for my son, lots of giggles for us both, he had all the patience in the world on how to work with what he had. Thank you for the hair dresser we had yesterday , we will be coming back to descuss more Lego ventures, music, and dark humouring.

Fantastic experience: If I could give more stars I would! My son is Autistic and as such we have not been able to have his hair cut at a salon for approx 5 years. It usually involved screaming and trauma previously that neither of us wanted to continue. Today he chose to go into this salon in Grand Central because he is now a big boy and that's where the big boys go. Laird was our barber. My son instantly felt comfortable. From the get go, Laird talked to him calmly but also gave him room to speak. The barber took his cues and flowed with his needs. He paused at times to allow to brush off hair or check in on how he was tracking. We did not have one tear, one heightened or distressed moment. My son came out looking exactly as he had dreamed with his baby shark haircut. You don't realise how emotional a success like that can be with our haircut journey. Sometimes people think it's a haircut, for us this experience was a life milestone. We are excited about continuing this relationship and helping our son to enjoy expressing himself with his hair as well as learning that it's not something to be scared of. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: I had my hair and beard done by Laird. Not only is he a highly skilled barber, he is a genuinely nice young man and I really enjoyed chatting with him about real-life issues whilst getting my hair and beard done. I would score the hair and beard trim 10/10 and the overall experience 10/10. I walked out the door both looking better and feeling better.

Negative experience: Normally a big fan but this haircut was not great. Looked like a bowl was placed on my son’s head. Barber very wary in cutting.

Negative experience: Hair cut was good. The underhandness in pricing was disgusting. Did a walk in for price got told $49. On payment charged teenagers $75. Not once was it discussed with either of his parents or the client that this would be charged more. No empathy shown from store. Certainly, won't be going back

Fantastic experience: I had the absolute pleasure of having Laird cut my hair and try to cut my son's hair today. Not only did Laird do, what I would consider the closest haircuts to what I requested - but he was an absolute great bloke and had a great chat with him. Very attentive and professional! He put a lot of effort to try and get my son's hair cut as best he could but between the shop being busy and noisy, the wee man just wanted to leave which was no fault of the shop or Laird. I will definitely be going back to visit him again as I feel no one else could do a better job!

Negative experience: Not the greatest. I don’t think he understood what I wanted with my beard and started straightening it and burnt my chin with the hair dryer.

Negative experience: The barber was extremely rude - bordering on hostile. He was unfriendly from the moment we walked in, to the moment we left. We have been here before and have never experienced treatment like the guy that served us today. Although he could cut hair, a little kindness goes a long way.
