Fantastic experience: We had the best experience ever! My 12yr old is usually really nervous before a hair cut as he is quite particular about his hair and we have left many barbers in tears. He is also very quiet when he is nervous. James was so warm and welcoming, made Brodey feel comfortable and at ease chatting away! Such a positive environment to be in with no adult music or images on the walls. Brodey loved how James suggested different things to compliment his face shape and Brodey walked out with a big grin on his face. We have already booked our next cut for 6weeks time and will be bringing the rest of the family! Thank you James!!

Fantastic experience: This was not only the best Barber I have ever been to, giving me the best haircut and beard treatment I have ever had. This was a full 5 star experience from beginning to End! As I arrived I was grated with big smiles and offers of coffee/Tea/water/soft drink etc.... This was great, the lady made me a double espresso that was so good a had to buy some of their coffee beans off them! My Barber Manu was extremely professional and very friendly, he was also a weapon of a barber. I have never felt so good after getting a hair cut. Thanks guys, I have found my new happy place! I will be back, again and again!

Fantastic experience: What can I say about this glorious establishment. Both my business partner and I are up in Townsville working for a month and both needed a haircut and beard trim. We googled to find the best barber in Townsville and this place came through with the best reviews. As the esteemed gentlemen we are, we booked a slot for our hair experience and as soon as we arrived we were greeted by some of the best looking humans we have ever seen. Instantly we were ushered into our super comfy barber chairs and given an icy cold can of beer. At this stage I felt like I had died and gone to heaven. My Barbers name was Chloe and she was the most amazing barber and person I’ve ever met in a barber shop. The haircut and beard trim was the best I have ever had by far. Her talent in the field of follicle maintenance and customer beautification is on the level of the best salons and barbers in New York. My business partner is of the same opinion and he is looking the best he has ever looked (even had panties thrown at him on the esplanade) all because of his outstanding haircut. If I ever want to have another child, I will call it Barberz in honour of the amazing experience I have received off these guys. Please don’t hesitate to visit them for the best haircut of your life, you won’t be disappointed.

Fantastic experience: Bit of a dilemma. A very good haircut indeed by Denis. Efficient booking system and reminder. Coffee/cold drinks offered. Problem is, it's so much better than my usual barber (and closer, just down the road) that I'll prob keep going. But my usual barber charges old geezers $25, this is $35. Usual barber does a #2 buzzcut so I only need to go every 8/10 weeks, Denis has styled it (my wife calls it "flattering" ) so I'll need to visit twice as frequently. Bit of a hit on my paltry pension. Great haircut, though. Even makes me look younger ... (Edit Jan 2025: Denis was an apprentice at the time, almost a year ago, which is why his price was low.) New post 17 May: Another great cut and style (I think you can call Denis' magic to make it look as if I have enough hair, "styling"). Now my hair is sorted, I'd better get to work on the rest of me from the chin down. New post 31 Jan 2025: Denis has gone on to pastures new, so I was a bit apprehensive about having James, the boss, take over care of my disappearing locks. Especially since he's usually to be seen sculpting the tresses of Townsville's bright young blokes, not elderly, deaf, retired gents. But he's done just as magic a job, making me (not quite as bald as a coot, but not far off) appear to actually have a head of hair. My wife isn't home yet, but I know that she'll give a big thumbs up. A seriously great salon, whether you're a groover or a geriatric. New post 29 May 2025: When I had a melanoma chopped off my scalp, the nurse shaved just one side of my head. I’ve looked even more unbalanced than usual. First haircut since the wound healed, James has done a fab job of restorative sculpture (scalpture?) Thanks mate!

Hair and beard service is always topnotch yet quick, and the complementary beer/coffee is always a nice bonus. He always enjoys the yarns and laughs with James, and really appreciates the fact there’s a booking system so he knows he’ll always get his barber of choice and when he’ll be in the chair, which works in perfectly with his busy schedule. And, as the misso, can confirm he always comes home happy and looking stylish and fresh af!

Not only does he cut my hair better than anyone I’ve had cut it before, he has been cutting my nearly 3 year old son’s hair since he was 11 months old. Denis is not a senior barber with less than 2 yrs experience. He did not listen to my request and now I am stuck with an asymmetrical haircut, again...
