Experiencia fantástica: I’m new to Glendale, Arizona, and needed a reliable barber, so I checked Google and saw great reviews for this shop. I decided to book with Jovany, and honestly, it was one of the best decisions I’ve made since moving here. I’ve been going to him every week for about six weeks now, and this guy is the real deal. His attention to detail is crazy he asks the right questions, gives solid recommendations, and actually listens to what you want. His fades are clean, his taper work is sharp, and he knows how to shape a beard perfectly. But beyond the skill, he’s funny, personable, and genuinely caring. Over time, he stopped feeling like “just my barber” he’s become like a brother. I went through a divorce not too long ago and my confidence was low, but Jovany literally helped bring that confidence back. Every time I sit in his chair, I walk out feeling sharper, more focused, and more like myself again. He’s dependable, always on time, and always finds a way to squeeze me in when I need a cut. The shop is clean, the payment process is easy, and he always offers me water after the cut. It’s the small things that make a big difference. If you’re anywhere in Glendale or the Phoenix area, and you’re looking for a top-tier barber at a fair price, go to this barbershop and ask for Jovany. This man goes above and beyond for his clients. I love that he always leaves here with a smile and feeling good about himself. Always a good vibe throughout the shop. I definitely recommend giving them a chance for all your barber shop needs.

Experiencia positiva: I went to this barbershop when I was still looking for a barber. When I walked in, I noticed that the shop was very clean, which is a very big deal to me when it comes to barbershops and getting my haircut because that is something I really consider self-care. I unfortunately do not think that the haircut was right for me which is at no fault to the Barber I just didn’t necessarily vibe with the shop. I would not recommend the shop to anybody if they’re looking for a haircut as the atmosphere is very clean however, my barber which I don’t remember booking with wasn’t necessarily a stand out to me so I haven’t been back, but this would be a barbershop. I would still recommend to somebody if they’re searching to get a haircut.

My brother and our son are autistic and they are both very comfortable here. Even if they are having a bad day or acting out, the way we are greeted and treated by everyone in the shop has been so nice. Not once have we felt judged or disrespected. We’ve been coming to True Fades for 3 years and it tops the rest of the barbershops. All the barbers do a really good job! The vibe in there is always the best. Waited until 5:20pm only to be told that it was closed and not accepting hair cuts after 4:20pm. They could of told me they weren’t accepting anymore cuts since I walked in or why is there no signs or anything saying there in no more walk ins after 4:20pm? I understand I walked in a bit later but some other barbers accept walk ins until they’re actual closing time.
