Experiencia negativa: I got a bang trim and a trim on the rest of my hair. I asked the stylist to cut basically curtain bangs, showed her an inspiration picture. She hardly cut my bangs and so I asked for more and she did the tiniest bit more. I decided to sleep on it. The next day, I go in to get more taken off and Tory (I think her name was) cut my bangs but did a horrible job. The right side is cut way too far back onto my head. There are uneven bits and it’s choppy. I think their clientele leans more male so the stylists don’t have practice on long hair or styles. I’m unhappy but there’s no way to fix my bangs at this point. I should have stuck with my first haircut. So much regret! They were friendly and accommodating, just didn’t do a good job unfortunately. I’ve been coming to Floyd’s for years but I think this was my last trip :(

Experiencia fantástica: So having a regular barber/hairdresser is very important to me. As of late, I haven’t had that luxury, and it’s been stressful. Now in the past, I’ve gone to Floyd’s and got my haircut by playing the barber lottery, as I call it. And unfortunately, I didn’t have a good experience any of those times. However, my hair was getting out of control again, and I really needed to get it cut, so I took a peek at the Floyd’s app the other day, and I observed that there was stylist’s with the word HEADLINER next to their name. Upon further research, I found out that those certain individuals had gained that status due in part for their reviews, and the amount of business that they bring to their Floyd’s establishment. After reading through the headliners at this particular location, I ultimately chose Ali S. at the 53rd and Wadsworth location in Arvada, CO. She did absolutely amazing. I truly couldn’t be any happier. Now I have my regular barber/hairdresser back for the foreseeable future and I couldn’t be more pleased and excited. If this resonates well with you, then please do yourself a favor and go and get your haircut by Ali! :)

She is welcoming, friendly, attentive and a great stylist. She listened to my mash of ideas and saw my mess of hair, and she crushed it. Experiencia negativa: The staff were very friendly and my barber was very sweet, but the haircut didn’t match the photo I showed or the price I paid. The cut felt rushed with minimal attention to detail , my neck wasn’t cleaned up even after asking, and I had to fix it myself at home. While the attempt was clear, the result fell short of what I expected.

Experiencia fantástica: Leticia in the Arvada Floyd’s barbershop is cheerful, professional, and an excellent barber. She consistently makes an old guy look young again! I use the app to book my time with Leticia and it’s always easy and they remember my preferences in the app so it only takes a few minutes. As far as the barbershop itself… I like it because it’s bright and relevant and incredibly efficient . I highly recommend. And if you are a semi bald guy like me with hair on the sides…Leticia knows how to make that bozo look that happens as our hair gets longer a thing of the past. Until the next time..

Experiencia negativa: Tried 3 days in a row to set hair appointment, bad manners over the phone, left on hold and forgotten, tried calling back and get ignored. Tired of these places that offer absolutely ZERO respect to the customer, it seems like it's the norm these days, I'd go for a smaller shop that can provide decent service and not over booked and rushed.

Experiencia fantástica: The lady who cut my hair was absolutely lovely to talk to and helped talk me through what my options were since I hadn’t been to a barber shop in years and I couldn’t remember how to explain what I wanted to do with my hair! I sadly don’t remember her name, but she gave excellent service!

Experiencia negativa: !!!! Avoid Lucy at all costs!!! The only reason I even gave even 2 stars is because Ali, the assistant manager tried really hard to fix my hair but after 3 hours total, it's still butchered and I'll be in hats for 6 months. If you walk in this shop and get LUCY run so fast out of the door. I am not convinced she's ever cut a woman's hair in her life. Literally didn't touch my scalp during the shampoo, NEVER had me facing the mirror attempted the cut twice and still managed to hack of 6 inched when I wanted a trim and shape up. When I told her I part on my right she cut for the part to be on the left immediately after. I asked her to get someone to help her understand and the rest of the shop just kept telling her she was doing great. I should have not given her the chance to try to fix her first mistake, THE LITERAL WORST HAIR CUT IN MY FORTY YEARS OF LIFE, I LEFT IN TEARS. RUN from Lucy and this whole shop unless you want to leave looking like a lost boy in shambles .

Experiencia negativa: I will never go there again. Tried them 4 years ago after our stylist of 10 years moved. Found someone I liked and religiously went back every two weeks for months. Out of no where they changed my appointment to another stylist. Found out she was terminated. This cycle repeated 4 times at 3 different locations. They have no loyalty to their people. I not only recommend customers find some where else to go but the stylist should too.

Experiencia negativa: I scheduled an appointment for an undercut/pixie with Yasmin. We talked at length about what I wanted and then literally her first cut went against everything we talked about. I stopped her and talked again about what I wanted and she started again. By the end of the cut she had done nearly everything wrong, the undercut was not even close to symmetrical, the top had been shortened drastically, which I had asked that she not do and cut in a straight line. I had repeatedly expressed that I didn’t want it to look like a bowl cut, and the back was completely lopsided. I didn’t want her to keep cutting so I said it was fine, paid and left. When I got home my partner took one look and said he could have done a better job. I set an appointment with Lorie the manager for the next day, we talked about how there was no going back to what I originally wanted and that she would try to fix it, that it might take several sessions… So much for saving money from my normal stylist. Again I got home trying not to cry over the full on bowl cut I now had on my head… That was still lopsided. I decided O just needed to go back to my old stylist and suck it up and pay the higher price. When I called about getting a refund I was told the manager would be in at noon and give me a call at that time. Hours later I reached back out and politely said, I’m still really upset about the haircut, I know we said it would take a couple of sessions to get it back to where it was but I’d really just like a refund to go back to my original girl. She responded fine and then hung up on me. I had to call back and talk to someone else to find out that the refund was being processed. I was going to let it slide without a review until being hung up on. I guess if you are a woman looking for a pixie, do your research and don’t go to either of these stylists.

Experiencia negativa: Dudes took almost an hour and a half to give me what was a relatively simple haircut, with an appointment in advance. Took so long I missed a time sensitive thing I had after and ended up getting screwed over. Not to mention I didn't like the haircut either. Lady just didn't know when to stop. I've been hurt by bad haircuts for SO LONG man. when is it my turn to be happy?

Experiencia negativa: Loved this place, used them religiously. Today was an absolute disaster. My haircut was delayed 35 minutes which is no big deal and they called and warned me. After sitting there 30 minutes and watching everyone coming in with later appointments being seen first, I asked when I would get my turn since my original appointment was slated for 40 minutes earlier, and I had chosen to see anyone, not someone specific. The person at the desk said 5 or so more minutes. Walked to the bathroom, saw other employees chilling & chatting, wrapping up in a blanket, etc. decided after this to just go somewhere else. 0 intention and interest on resolving this bad service. Lost a customer for life. Happy new year.

Experiencia negativa: Usually is my go to place, this time I scheduled my appointment through the app as always and confirmed my appointment, when I arrived I was told that they tried calling me to tell me the person who does skin fades was and I needed to reschedule, I never got a call nor any communication through text or the app like usual when there are changes. I’m totally fine with changes especially if an employee is out, but to just lie out right to your customer that has gone there for 6+ years is very disappointing.

Experiencia negativa: When you dye someone's hair, you create an oil barrier between their scalp and their skin so it doesn't stain the face, forehead, or temples. This was either an act of negligence or sheer incompetence, and my hair dresser had the audacity to say, "See you next time!" No, I will not be back. I wish I had never even left a tip.

Experiencia negativa: This place has never given a quality experience personally. The two out of five times I have actually gotten a haircut it has actually been decent. But the other three I was told it would be just a few minutes and that I only have one or two people in front of me, and I have waited 45 minutes or more each time. Each person at the desk has either been outright rude or just crass when I've asked the simplest of questions. I guess this is what you get with chains. Overpriced product and shitty service. Find someone local and support them.

She listens to the type of cut I want and she ensures I get it. Claudia is very easy to talk to and I feel really great after each cut. Claudia truly cares about the work she does and it shows. Experiencia fantástica: Vanessa D. at the 52nd Wadsworth Blvd Has always been great to me. She’s professional, on time and has been very attentive to my requests, while getting my haircut. She has an eye for attention to detail and it shows in every haircut. Vanessa also gives great recommendations for hair products as well as beard care. I’ll go in with gel caked on my head, feeling embarrassed, and she assures me it’s “not a big deal”. The staff has always been professional and I’ll continue to revisit this location.

Experiencia negativa: Called to get my kid's last minute appts day of. Was told there were openings, the woman pulled up our info and confirmed appts. Showed up on time, and was told we didn't have appts. Didn't try to help fix mistake in any way, just said we never had appts and they were fully booked.

Experiencia fantástica: With a Barber like Ashley F, it’s no secret why I anticipate my monthly Razor fade and trim. I was consistent with a monthly visit to Floyd’s when I lived closer to that location. Without any doubt now I realize after a much needed trim/fade that Ashley F is the only barber that I know who can truly stylize my auburn hair into perfection every time

Experiencia negativa: Usually have good experiences at other Floyd’s locations. Came in at 5:30PM today. This location was definitely an exception. Stylist did not ask if I wanted my hair tapered up to my hard part, and instead began by carving a 3 all the way up to the hard part. By the time she did the first cut, that decision was made for me. Also, I now have a large obvious chunk that she cut out of my hairline. Nice staff I guess but terrible haircut.

Experiencia negativa: Horrible experience here. Joella cut my hair today... when I asked her to texture / thin it out, she only did the sides. When she asked me to look at the back to see if it was straight, I commented it wasn’t straight, and she said “that’s just how my hair is” and wouldn’t cut it straight. Wish I could get my money back, this was a horrible haircut.

Experiencia negativa: Got a cut and color. Told the girl to leave the hair dye for only 3 minutes after has been applied. Instead she applied it over the sink and immediately rinsed it ( did not let it soak for 3 minutes after applied). This resulted in almost no color. She said I can return within 7 days and get it reapplied. When I called back they said they would have to charge for another application.

Experiencia negativa: Just got one of the worst haircuts I’ve been had in my life. I had grown out my hair to try a new style, and the woman who cut my hair didn’t listen and was unable to do it right. After asking for a slight trim on the top she cut most of it off leaving me with an inch of hair left of the 6+ inches I came in with, and the fade was so uneven. Had to go to another barber to get it cleaned up and they were so amazed that I had gotten such a bad cut from here. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

Experiencia negativa: We have came here many times before, but today it seems that there weren’t very many stylists working. The stylist that cut my hair was a hispanic woman with a long bleach blonde ponytail. I asked for a long layered haircut with curtain bangs. Nothing new to me. She turned my chair around and cut my bangs without me being able to see till she was finished. I told her not to go above my eye, instead she did just that and cut my bangs straight across. I was so embarrassed walking out of this place. I will never return again, as I have had better luck when my mom used to take me to Great Clips. Lol Good thing my hair grows fast. Unfortunately, I will be wearing a hat for the rest of the month.

Experiencia fantástica: Really nice stylist who cut my son's hair. Not all people love working with kids but she sisnt mind and has him a great cut at an affordable price.
Experiencia positiva: My husband is very basic in what he will pay for in terms of a haircut. After several trips to very underpriced salons, I convinced him to try Floyds. He got the Floyd's cut and we were both very pleased with the service and professionalism of the stylist. Rayann gave him a great cut (similar to my stylist that charges him $55 in a high end salon). She was professional and friendly and listened to what he/I wanted, and the results were great! We will definitely be going back to see her in the future.

Experiencia fantástica: Hands down the best haircut I've had in a while. I even got a walk-in last minute appointment on Sunday and wa sin and out in 30 minutes! Annie was my stylist professional who offered great conversation and answered every one of my questions. I'm requesting her by name everytime I make my appointments now!
