Experiencia fantástica: Today, I just referred one of MY customers from the auto care center to this location, because she complemented my hair and style, I told her about Floyd’s 99 barbershop and pulled up the Google photos to show her the aesthetic and she loved it, she took a photo of one of the pics you guys have on Google and she literally texted her daughter “Floyd’s 99 barbershop” with the photo, because her daughter was actually going to some random barbershop that she wasn’t very familiar with, so I recommended her this spot, feels good to rave and talk about Floyd’s 99 barbershop whenever I get the chance. You guys always carry that “chill no bs vibes.” Floyd’s is always my go to.

Experiencia negativa: This place is never busy and if you try walk in with three people sitting in seats. They won't take you. Not a friendly staff. So many other barber shops in the area that is happy for you business.

Experiencia negativa: I booked an appointment on line and arrived anout 5 minutes early and checked in. I waited 15 minutes and the receptionist said the stylist wasn't in until later and there wasn't anyone there that could cut my hair for the next 4 hours. They are good at taking reservations, they are not good at honoring them..........

Experiencia fantástica: Awesome cut, friendly staff. I tried them about two years ago and they became my barbershop of choice. They have great background music - great mix for while you wait or are getting your haircut. I really recommend a shave - I get one as a treat every so often.

Experiencia positiva: I still enjoy floyds but I don't go out my way to drive to them anymore and only come on special occasions. Floyds has normalized over the years while prices have gradually increased. I remember coming floyds in the 2010s and getting a shampoo everytime just to make the experience fuller and even an occasional visit to the barber. I remember getting recomended different stuff since I use gels and sprays, but my favorite part used to always be the back massage you got at the end. Today your lucky if you get the back massage and it's usually only for about 10 seconds if you do get it. It's the little things like that that have made me start getting local haircuts now instead to save money. I still think floyds give the best cuts though

Experiencia fantástica: The girl who cuts my hair is great. No bullshit small talk. Just a great haircut. The way I like it. I hate getting my hair cut cus most people cant give me a good cut to save their life. This chick is the shit. One of only three people who’s ever given me a good cut. Didn’t have to tell her much either. She just knows. Props to you if you read this, I’ll be back.

Experiencia negativa: Oh boy. From out of town, looked up a shop close, had a good review from someone. Came and it was awful. Dude left me butchered. I even went in the bathroom to go pee and noticed a shelf on the right side of my head. So I come back out and ask him to blend it more. He “does”. I leave and then look in the mirror in the car and just start laughing. Fade is awful, missed hairs on cheeks, beard line LOL. No way I’m going back in there and letting him “try to fix this”. I went to UGB down the street and they fixed it amazingly. I don’t know if it’s bad light, the chair is far from the mirror, or what. Def recommend somewhere else if you’re serious about your haircuts. This cost me $78. CRAZY.

Was supposed to be a straight razor high and tight the kid barley touched my neck and ears with a razor and patchy at best. I refused to pay for a razor fade and the lady at counter insisted that that's what they call a razor fade. And told me I need I need a interpretation of what a razor fade is. Interpret me not returning until after she don't work there anymore

Gracee though is the most amazing and wonderful person. I got my hair cut by her at the other location and she did amazing. This time, she did amazing. That's the one thing I am floored by. Consistency. Gracee is the girl girlboss queen we all need in our lives. Literally could not be happier with my haircut. Gracee if you're reading this. You literally are the best and you make my day. I have always hated getting hair cuts and now I don't. The best conversationalist, listens to your input and follows through. 15/10. Get this girl a throne. Absolute queen ❤️❤️❤️

Experiencia negativa: My boyfriend went here yesterday (03/15/25) to get a haircut for a funeral on Monday. He asked for a MID FADE he left with a FADE. He told the person that did his haircut he asked for a Mid Fade the guys reply was "you asked for a fade". My boyfriend left looking funny. This isn't the first time this has happened. He tried to give them a 2nd chance but they ruined it. Thanks to SpeakEazy barbershop for doing my boyfriends hair right. They had a lot of work to do since Floyd's didn't do him right.

Experiencia negativa: Worst haircut I’ve had. The kind you want of service that deserves a refund especially after spending $50. 1.) Lining was crooked on my forehead. One swiggly line and other straight. 2.) Left the chair with my face covered in hair as if my face was an extension of my hairline. 3.) Long hairs behind my ears protruded from behind my ear. 4.) unable to do a skin fade. 5.) Had to correct her in order for her to properly fade my hair. There was a clear line distinguishing the different lengths in hair showing a lack of blending. I will never come here again.

Experiencia negativa: My son left in tears today. I’m not a hair professional, but I thought I understood the difference between a fade and a skin fade. My son asked for a mid-fade and showed a photo, but our stylist corrected us, calling it a skin fade. Tomato, tomahto, I thought to myself. When asked if he wanted a high, mid, or low skin fade, my son asked for a mid, but he got a high one instead. My son has very curly hair, so I understand that our stylist was concerned with some of the locks he had, but my son wanted to keep his hair long and manage it on his own. Instead, she cut his hair short. After our initial interactions, I assumed we were all on the same page, especially since photos were shown. On the drive home, my son shared with me that he asked her not to cut his hair, but she did it anyway. The moral of the story is that as a parent, I should not have left him alone with the stylist so I could have helped with communication. It's a learning lesson for my son as well, in learning to speak up for himself. I would ask that the stylist understand that although it might seem logical to cut my son's tangled locks as she would have done for her son, sometimes the customer is right in wanting to keep things as they are, and that’s okay, especially if they are telling you directly. Overall, it was not a great experience. The shop is very clean, and the team there is very friendly for sure.

Experiencia negativa: For a $30+ hair cut, I expected it to last longer than 10 minutes. If I wanted a 10 minute hair cut I would have gone to super cuts. They also say you get a neck massage with the cut, I did not get that. No way will I very go back and waste my money like that! There are other places at that price that take 30-40 minutes, and it shows in what you get. This was a cheap cut that was way over priced !

Experiencia fantástica: [Masc, Curly Hair] I have been a chronic great clips customer for the past couple of years now and it's always a hit or miss with them. I usually get a fade and have about 6 inches of length on top but sometimes my hair just looks really round on top and I like it square. When I explained this at Floyd's, they were able to do a really good job and said something about why it usually ends up round instead of square (something about my hairline being higher than where it is normally cut, I don't really remember). Even though it is twice as expensive as Great Clips, this will be my regular place from now on.

Experiencia negativa: one of the worst haircuts ive had in a while, i usually cut my own hair but i decided id treat myself and get it done by a professional. While everyone was nice, the hair now is not, i asked for a trim and wispy bangs ( while giving a photo of exactly what i wanted) and instead she cut off my hair to above my shoulders and gave me blunt uneven bangs that werent parted correctly and make me look like will byers from stranger things. all i could do is go home and cry about how this cut is totally unfixable and i now have to wear a hat until it can grow back.

Experiencia negativa: mine haven’t been coming out right; uneven and cutting more than I’ve wanted. I now have a hair style different than I started with. Will not be returning; cut by Frank the headliner. it’ll take at least 4 months to get back the amount of hair he cut. Everyday I look in the mirror and get mad. I was given a refund at the very least.

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve been coming here since December of 2022 and I absolutely love it. The ambiance inside is great with a fun playlist and cool music artwork on the walls. The real star of the show here though is the customer service and quality haircuts. I have been going to Alessandra since then and never looked back. She plays close attention to the haircut and has set me up for big events in my life on many occasions! I usually get a skin fade with some flow up top but I’ve done multiple different styles which I’ve been super happy with every time. On top of all that, she always makes me feel welcome and like a friend whenever I come in. Overall I’m super happy to have found this barber shop and of course Alessandra. Experiencia positiva: The young lady who cut my beard paid great attention to detail. She made some good recommendations and even gave my eyebrows a little trim to my wife’s delight. The building is nice, too. They have a cute lil claw machine to entertain those accompanying someone getting a cut. Under any other circumstance I would give a 5 star review. I give 3 stars because as a short bald guy, my beard and sense of humor are my only redeeming traits. I lost about a year’s worth of growth coming here, landing me square in “too short to style, long enough that any hair out of place is glaring” territory. Maybe I did not communicate my ask clearly. Really just wanted it lined and tidied up, split ends removed etc. Anyway, it will grow back, but in the meantime I will need to find a barber I can trust with my precious little face hairs. I often tell people I will try anything twice, but this is going to have to be an exception. Before and after photos are attached.

Experiencia negativa: Poor customer service. I went in asking for a simple beard trim. They didn’t have room, so I booked for the next day, they called me half an hour before to move my appointment, I then go in the next day. I’d asked for a basic beard trim but they booked me in for a detailed trim and said “just in case you want it to more detailed, so we have time for it, but if it’s basic you’ll get charged for that”… I go in, the woman I get did a fine job but absolutely basic, no straight razor, no new lines, no hot towel, and barely even trims my cheek. NOTHING about this trim was detailed. They rude woman behind the desk charges me $29 before tip, I tell her I just got a basic trim and she tells me “you were booked in for a detailed trim”, I explained that I didn’t get that, but she checks with the woman who did it and decides it’s detailed. Absolute scammers. I’ve never had such dirty tricks at a barber before. I still tipped because I’m not an animal, but don’t get fooled by these tricksters. I won’t be back and encourage others to look elsewhere.

Experiencia negativa: WARNING: TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! This place doesn’t value its customers' time one bit. My initial visit turned into an absolute disaster, ensuring I'll never set foot here again. Despite a scheduled 2:15 PM appointment, the chaos began immediately upon check-in. Promised a mere 5-minute wait for the barber, I found myself idling for another 20 minutes. The receptionist, in a futile attempt at damage control, directed me to a barber allegedly 'finishing up,' claiming a 10-minute wait. But surprise, surprise—another 10 minutes later, I was informed that this so-called 'new' barber couldn’t accommodate me today. This level of incompetence and disregard for customers is beyond belief. With their supposedly sophisticated online booking system, one would assume they could manage staff shortages or unforeseen circumstances. Instead, they opted for a comedy of errors that wasted my time and left me frustrated. It's laughable how they operate in a vicinity filled with competent barbershops. Save yourself the hassle and steer clear of this unprofessional establishment.

Experiencia negativa: Just left the shop now and I mean I schedule a fade & a wash, walk in to a dry greeting with a weird vibe between the staff. Get called up by the employee I scheduled with, who advertises as fun and energetic, I get a 15 min haircut with a “what are you up to today” then that’s it, go pay $45 never even got my wash. I’m not a picky guy and I always tip regardless. I’ll give the cut a 7/10 she did the job but could’ve taken an extra couple mins to touch things up better and completely blew off the wash so I guess the business doesn’t want the extra money? The competition is way too good in the area to give such a sub par experience. If you’re considering a cut in the area, you can get better for less.

Experiencia negativa: Paid $40 for a bad haircut. Not much else to say. It's a nice big shop, but none of that really matters much if you're getting a cut that's less then Great Clips quality, at double the price. On a positive note, I was in and out in under 15 mins and it wasn't the absolute worst cut I've ever had. Hopefully it was just an off day for the barber I got, but I won't be going back to find out.

Experiencia negativa: Went in for a “quick” cut. Asked the barber if she could do a taper cut, nothing on top just the back of neck to be tapered. The barber mentioned she had been doing it for 5 years but clearly needs more mentoring. She went up higher than I asked and did a poor job of blending the hair in properly. My hair is uneven and looks like I have some bald spots then hard lines. I had to come home a blend my own hair in as much as I could to look somewhat decent. Looks like baseball caps for the next two weeks. Place was clean and great ambiance but I don’t think I would ever go back.

Experiencia fantástica: Annie (Anz) has been my stylist since I moved to Arizona five years ago. She has amazing skill and insight to apply to very difficult tendencies and situations. My hair has horrific callicks and pulls that she is expertly able to tone down, hide, mask, etc. The knowledge she possesses is truly unmatched. Additionally, her calm and genuine social presence during the service is unmatched. I have always felt welcome and comfortable, having great conversation each time I go in. I would highly recommend her to anyone!!

Experiencia fantástica: Love the Refresh product and Anz was amazing. She hooked it up with my beard and top notch customer service. Will book with her again! Whether you need a touch up on the beard or mustache or trimming the top of your head, this is a great barbershop. I make my reservations via their app and show up and voila. Very convenient, love the ambiance and people. Can't beat this barbershop. On the prices side of things, it's definitely more than your mom and pop shop growing up but a great cut is what you will receive!

Experiencia negativa: Having some difficulty writing this review, because I have had nothing but an excellent EXPERIENCE from FLoyd's until yesterday. The service that I was used to fell way below the benchmark that has been set in times past. I received a haircut, BAM...End of story. Was out of the chair in 7 min. NO neck shave, hot towel, or massage. I don't necessarily need those extra things, but they are nice and make me feel like I'm spending my money at the right place. I think I'm still mad at myself for still tipping, but it happened so fast I didn't have time to process. That's my fault for being an American and tipping on mediocrity. The hair cut is OK and that's why it gets a 2 and not a 1 star. Unfortunately, I only gave a review when I was disappointed...It's not fair to the employees that I have had before. You folks were awesome.

Experiencia negativa: Usually I have great experience but today was horrible. I had appointment with different stylist than usual at 6pm as I needed haircut before taking off on vacation. She came, didn’t say a word, did haircut in 5 minutes and left. She didn’t clean properly my head so I had bunch of hair bothering my neck and back. I feel completely disrespected. Never again!!! Note 1/22: I was contacted by manager of the shop and received refund for my appointment. I’m glad that they try to make it right
