Experiencia fantástica: II Sons is my go to barbershop and i’m particularly loyal to Cisqo who always takes really good care of me. Cisqo is good at many different cuts. I’ve gotten burst fades, tapered faded and other kinds of cuts from him. I’m a regular so he usually remembers what I like. His fades are immaculate. He knows how to trim longer hair and is very detail oriented. If you can get in with Cisqo definitely do it.

Experiencia negativa: EDIT: I went back about 6 weeks after my first visit. The second barber I had cut my beard crooked on one side. It was combed out in a way, so I didn't notice until later that night. One side was perfect, but the other side was crooked. I had to comb and try to mash up where the drop-off was to make it less noticeable. After about 2 weeks, I was able to fix it myself. My 1st visit wasn't bad, but my 2nd visit was so disappointing. The barber was professional and friendly. Unfortunately, he wasn't skilled.

Experiencia negativa: I've always gone to the grant street location and then my haircutter left that job so I tried this place as it's closer to my house.... I wish I'd have gone to the grant street location and tried a new barber there. I had the displeasure of getting a cut from Ben who I gather is the owner of II Sons. He seemed old fashioned, knowledgeable and skilled but he did absolutely nothing I asked him to, he talked way too much, he was 20 minutes late to start my appointment, I should have taken the last guys look of dismay as a giant hint to run away. I asked for a razor fade and he dismissed it so fast saying "I think skin in your hair cut is ugly, it shines too much" that I think he doesn't even know how to do a razor fade. Cutting my hair on top it took several minutes of back and forth before I could finally get him to cut my hair shorter than 2 inches long, I usually get about an inch long left on top and he wastes 10 minutes basically taking the tips off my 3 months overgrown hair, and he seemed annoyed I asked him to cut it shorter (again) and turned me away from the mirror for the remainder of the hair cut. I didn't care what it looked like when he turned me back around to show me it's done, I just wanted to pay him and leave. He also overcharged compared to what I normally pay at his establishment. All of the other cutters are young and always seem to be churning out great looking and modern hair cuts, I honestly did not see it coming I'd leave dissatisfied, let alone with one of the worst hair cuts I've ever had.

Experiencia fantástica: This is exactly what an upscale barber shop should be. The building is well-maintained, the furniture is new, the equipment is always top of the line, everything feels clean. Most importantly, the service is both professional and friendly. You're greeted and welcomed as soon as you step inside. Finding a barber shop that you can trust is not easy. I've been lucky to find 2 Sons. I've been getting my hair cut by Larry since I started coming here in 2022, and I've felt clean and confident walking out every time I see him. His talent for the trade is glaringly obvious. Over the course of a year and a half, my taste has changed somewhat, and he's always worked with me to get me where I want, and given great advice for the styling and care of my hair. Most of all, he has been friendly and professional. I referred my brother to him a year ago, and now he has two customers for life! Thank you, Larry!

Experiencia fantástica: I don’t judge a haircut based on the way I look coming out of the salon. I wait until the next day, after taking a shower to see if my hair falls into place like it is supposed to. After my first visit to II Sons for Men I found a barbershop that knows how to cut hair. Jose at II Sons for Men on Broadway Blvd listened to what I wanted for a hair cut and mustache trim and then went to work. I am an old white guy with course grey hair that is difficult to cut. My hairline is receding, I have crazy cowlicks in the back and some scalp scars that makes my hair grow in strange directions. None of it phased Jose. After taking a shower, I was very pleased to see that my hair was easy to comb and fell into place right away. There were no thick clumps or extra long pieces to deal with. Jose is my guy and II Sons on Broadway Blvd is my place to go !

Experiencia fantástica: Being new to the area and critical on my hair, it is always a challenge for me to find a good, consistent barbershop. I was fortunate to have found this place and I couldn't be happier. The staff are very helpful and there is good availability for appointments. There are other barbershops I have been to like this, but the staff and atmosphere are what set this apart. The other challenge of finding a good barbershop is finding a good and consistent barber. Grant is my go-to barber and has done an excellent job every time I go in. He takes the time to listen to your intended outcome and works with you to find the best solution for a great result. With that, He remembers what was done prior appointments despite sometimes being several weeks in between cuts. I will wait a little longer to make sure I can schedule with him any chance I get, and I definitely see myself going back to II Sons for a long time to come. Fantastic Barbershop!

Update: Sadly the guy who answered the phone on December 22nd was unnecessarily rude which was totally unprompted by me I was nothing but friendly. Guy jumped down my throat because their website directed me to call them when they're scheduling thing wasn't working and it wasn't working for me and he didn't update his website apparently. You can cut hair off my body but cant take a phone call? Whats wrong with calling your barber? Geez sorry guy. I guess you dont like money. I'll never come back to this place again updated review from 5 to 2 Stars. Again not Sisqos fault.

Experiencia fantástica: II Sons for Men Barber Shop takes great pride in their business. I have visited the eastside location three times so far and Brandon Urbina has been my barber. His cut and fade are top notch. The building and decor are upscale and well appointed. The price is in line with other shops in town, but this is definitely a cut above in terms of quality, professionalism and atmosphere. I highly recommend II Sons for Men and will continue to give them my business.

Paid 30% more here than other Barbers but I was thinking you get what you pay for, unfortunately not in this case. In N out in 20 minutes. When I'm trying to find a good barber I want to hear their ideas and this guy didn't offer any ideas at all. I told him I was interested in the "classic" haircut like what is on their website. His response was "ahh ya, I don't know what they put on there". He was back in his seat watching TV before I was even out the door. Clearly not an owner of the business

Experiencia fantástica: Absolutely peaceful atmosphere, chatty but quiet. Everyone forms a relationship with their clients, they get to know their needs and work to satisfy every time. I have worked with Benny Sr for 2 years and have changed hair with the seasons, but he has stayed actively engaged in my cut. You need to schedule a day in advance, but they will always find a way to help. They all have slightly different styles, but every single chair has someone professional, timely, and creative working there. I won’t let anyone else touch my hair again.

Experiencia negativa: Guy rushed me out the door, he moved so fast and cut off way more than I wanted and when I asked him to keep my length as much as possible proceeded to cut it to the point where my hair is now at an angle in the front and no blending done around the ears at all, just a chunk clipped out around my ears. First cut here and won't be back, more than disappointing since I told the guy I was still trying to grow my hair out and just needed a light cleanup with as little taken off as possible. Even when I made comments about how much he was taking off and it being a lot brushed me of and kept going but at that point I just wanted out of the chair. Not sure if he was just new and inexperienced but next time listen to what the customer is saying especially if they're telling you that how much you're taking off is too much or not what they're going for.

Experiencia fantástica: Danny is fantastic and hands-down the best barber in Tucson in my opinion. He's incredibly skilled and experienced and always did a perfect job cutting my hair. Though unfortunately I no longer live in Tucson, I miss Danny's cuts a lot and will never forget him and how good he was at cutting my hair.

I have now changed all the kids over from true cuts where the environment was horrible and stagnant. I thank you for your wonderful service. 02/2023 Well this happiness quickly went sour. We started with a 25.00 cut for a 14-year-old, 28.00 for a 12-year-old, went back for the 14-year-old and it was then 30.00 lastly, I took my 10-year-old grandson, and it was 40.00. I called to question why it was so high, I was then hung up on, was in such disbelief that they would act in such a way. I guess they didn't care about our business was planning on my son going next, but they burned that bridge. Back to the drawing board.

You want a quality haircut and trimming of eyebrows ears nose unibrow beard mustache then this is a place to go. They know what they're doing they're very professional not to mention you feel very comfortable there. I've been going here for over a year now and will continue to keep going here. Anthony is very good, and so is Brandon. There are other gentleman that work here however they're the ones I usually go to.

Experiencia negativa: I appreciate the bad hair cut that I received yesterday. Ended up going back into the barber to try and get it fixed. The hair cut came out worse and chopped up. The barber that cut my hair doesn't know how to use scissors or clippers. I appreciate the barber that that messed up my hair for my wedding pictures. Thank you so much I really do appreciate it, might need a counselor after the horrible experience and hair cut and for ruining my wedding photos. I also wanted my beard trimmed and lined up and the barber told me he didn't have time. The barber shouldn't take an appointment if they can't spend the time and do what the customer wants. If I could give zero stars I would.

Experiencia negativa: Husband went to get his hair done and his regular barber wasn't available. He got a different barber which was fine but whats not fine is its totally jacked! He rushed his hair cut told him he didn't have enough time to do his beard and the way he cut his hair from his beard looks ridiculous and then he left the top part of his hair long like he didn't even cut it. Last time they used a straight blade to part his hair but they didn't this time. He went back in to get it fixed and they just trimmed the top part. It looks choppy as hell. This is not ok. If they were so booked and rushed they shouldn't have taken him in. But no they rushed it now he has to go to another barber to get it fixed and done correctly.

Experiencia fantástica: We've been going to see Miquail for around 6 months now. My son is in middle school, and he is working on finding his style. Miquail has been great when we've come in monthly with slight variations to his hair that we want to try. The shop is really modern, clean, and we have always been seated no later than our scheduled time. They are usually playing a hit movie and several live sports or ESPN, which helps my son feel comfortable since he's not one to make small talk. We will continue to book Miquail at II Sons for the foreseeable future. They also have the best website & online booking tool of the barbershops in our area!!!

They trimmed my FILs eye brows and ear hair at no upcharge. I got a good face shave included with my hair cut and my son loves his hair cut, too. We're all happy with the entire experience.

Most importantly, he gave an excellent cut and I highly recommend him. Despite my rowdy hair, he still managed to exceed all expectations. I came in with long hair and wanted a close clean cut for a wedding. Gave me the most choppy cut I ever got!! gave me the haircut he wanted to give NOT what I asked for!!! would not listen!! The man was arrogant, pompous and rude!! I will never go there again I will never recommend it to anyone!!

They felt very welcome and very comfortable with Angel the Barber. He held good conversations and did amazing cuts . They can't wait to return for their next appointment.

Experiencia negativa: I have taken my sons here a few times a year for the last 2 almost 3 years. Progressively becoming more and more disappointed. Today was the worst. My son asked for a Mohawk and instead got just enough hair to spike on the top of his head. I asked for my other son to have the shaved with a nice fade. Asked the barber before both is he was comfortable with the request. Well now one looks like a blob of hair on top of his head and the other looks like he's 2 to 3 weeks after a cut with some long missed hairs. Did not expect this level of haircuts for $30 a kid. So disappointed. Unfortunately we will not be back.

Came to the barber shop on my wedding day while in AZ (don't judge we're all procrastinators at some point ). I let..dannie I believe.. know that it was my wedding day before we got started and he knew exactly what to do. He not only trimmed my fade and blended it nicely but he fixed the last person's mistakes. (MEN DO NOT GO TO ULTA) He made sure it had the perfect amount for pictures but not too short to look too fresh for those kind of photos. The owner is so incredibly knowledgeable and helped me to find not only what I wanted, but helped adjust it so it actually looked good with my hair. He was honest about what worked and what didn’t, and that made me feel really confident in the result. His apprentice is the one that actually cut mine, and he did an amazing job, but Danny was sure to keep poking his head in to make sure everything was going right. I’ve been looking for a place like this for years and I will definitely be coming back.

They offer good conversation in a relaxing atmosphere. They do require an appointment in advance, and can be difficult to get the times you want every once in a while.

Experiencia fantástica: Wonderful experience!! As a tough critic of my kids haircuts, I must say this shop is top of the line. If you’re looking for a clean, contemporary experience this is your place. Two kids 3,5 both thoroughly enjoyed the service, the kindness of the owner, Danny, as well as their stylist Jose. Who gave my boys the best hair cut they’ve had yet. Danny, the owner makes you feel like family. The stylists, as you listen know the clients and that’s something to be said! The nostalgia of this place seeps from the walls as you watch big screen TV’s and sit on boujie couches. The vintage chairs (barber) were another added touch of the places vibe, unreal. Tucson men I’d suggest at least trying this place once, my gut says you’ll be hooked- go see for yourself. Side note: ☝ This is the FIRST time my 3 year old has made it through a hair cut with NO tears. Huge shout out to II Sons for Men.

This was my first time at their new Grant location and what I said previously stands true. I strongly recommend this barbershop, and will continue to return.

Experiencia fantástica: I was absolutely taken by this entire experience. I saw Danny, one of the owners as my barber. What a exceptional ambiance. Danny was so straightforward with what I wanted. He told me immediately that when I come again to go to his coworker/employee, Anthony, for the style I was looking for. Danny did an amazing job yet. I have never had this outstanding of a fade and beard lining. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for an amazing barber. I won’t go anywhere else again.

Experiencia positiva: This location is hit-or-miss. I've been there 4 times so far - 2 haircuts were great, and the staff were courteous and professional. Another time the staff ignored my responses and didn't listen to what I asked, and the other they were 20 minutes late so I had to leave. If you find a good barber here you're probably safe to keep coming back, but if you're looking for a new shop it's safer to shop around first.

Experiencia fantástica: Awesome shop. The atmosphere is extraordinary. They have movies playing and the staff are very professional and polite. The one downside is you need an appointment even before covid you can expect to wait a few days even weeks depending on who you want to cut your hair. But that tells you alot about the popularity and quality of their work. Highly recommended just be patient and book an appointment.

Anthony was my barber this time and he did a fantastic job, took his time and paid attention to detail. Been going for about 2 years and will be back to Anthony again, this time in maybe 2 months instead of 6.

Most of my life I walked around with a short crew cut and clean shaven so I had no idea what I wanted to do with it. I wasn't ready to give it up but it definitely needed to be cleaned up. After reading some reviews I decided to check out II Sons for the first time. Their new shop on Grant is really nice. Danny gave me some good advice and did a great job cleaning up my hair/beard. I'll definitely be going back.

Experiencia fantástica: Everyone in here knows what they're doing, but Anthony is an artist. Anthony is professional, knows his craft inside out, and gives me the cut exactly as I ask for. I would definitely recommend the other barbers, but I've been impressed with Anthony. Keep up the good work!

Always takes his time to make sure you get a clean fresh cut and makes you feel welcome while he does it . So if you want a great haircut and that old school barber conversation this is definitely the place to be won’t go anywhere else

Experiencia fantástica: Nice guys, nice place, good haircuts for great prices. Feels like an old timey barber shop for the modern age. Thought a place that nice would be an arm an a leg but it was only around 20 bucks, and that included a little bit of styling product. If youre a guy who wants something better than great clips but dont want to go to a "womans" salon, 2 sons are doing it up right. Would recommend to any guy.
