Experiencia negativa: Came here today for a high fade hair cut. Its dark in there so hard to see, which is why I didnt notice the details until I got home. My hair wasnt anywhere near even on the sides and was like curved up on the left side in the middle so the fade looked way off. I had to go to another place to get it fixed correctly and I didnt have to even explain more than "help line this fade correctly" and it was done. Maybe because of the dark the person cutting also wasnt able to notice, but this was my experience.

Experiencia positiva: I was in for a haircut a week before and had a good experience. Hadn't left a review yet, and meanwhile I wanted to get back in before leaving town for a while to get things cleaned up. In my mind I didn't need a full haircut, so I made a reservation for an "edge up". I am not an expert on barber shop lingo but it seemed plausible to have the sides buzzed and my part cut back in for $14 plus a tip. I made a reservation for 8am. I did get there a little late, 8:10, but I hadn't asked for anyone specific and was fine waiting. When I got there, the girl at the counter told me she'd have to ask "if he'd still take me". I didn't know who she was referring to at first and just reiterated I'll wait for whoever is available. Treat me as a walk in, it's fine. She walked over to a guy sitting in the far left chair, with his feet up, looking bored on his phone. They went back and forth as the barber had an internal debate about taking me vs. scrolling tiktok I guess. Eventually he asked me "you ready?". He never said hello, never introduced himself, and when I said what I was looking for he just said "that's not an edge up" and he'd have to change it. Fine, I understand if there is no service like what I was looking for, and so I let him do his thing. He was silent throughout. I was in his chair for less than 10 minutes. He did what I asked and skipped the niceties. Not even a hot towel. When we were done he walked over and had the receptionist change my appointment to a haircut for the full price. Then he walked away, without a word. No thanks, no come back soon, just a cold shoulder. One good experience, one bad experience, too hit and miss for me for the price. As for today's visit, if everything else had been good, I would have swallowed the cost more easily and just realized in the future I need to decide if it's worth it or not to get cleaned up between my normal cuts. However, when combined with the barber not even being happy about having a customer, I'll just skip this place from now on.

It’s clear that this establishment is not just about great haircuts but also about building a connection with the community. I wish I could remember the owner’s name, but I truly hope to connect with him again soon, especially as a property manager looking to create unique experiences for my residents. After such a positive visit, I’m inspired to reach out to him about participating in one of our upcoming resident functions, where we aim to offer fresh cuts as a fun and practical perk. Experiencia negativa: Barbers need to take a second to figure out what the person is looking for in a haircut. Sometimes pictures aren’t enough it seems. I’ve had a few different barbers here, they either kinda like to do their own thing or end up taking a bit too much off and try to fix it with styling it for you. My suggestion is if you go here, DO NOT let them style it after they cut it or make sure you mess your hair up and style it the way you normally do it before you leave. I’ve had 3 awful cuts in a row here, had 1 good initially cut that kept me coming back. I appreciate my last visit taking their time, but they just took wayyyy too much off and I got stuck growing my hair out for 3 months to get it back. Previous 2 cuts, guy probably shouldn’t be cutting hair, no attention to detail whatsoever

It was clean and well maintained. Had sports on the TV’s as well as complementary drinks. I didn’t make an appointment and they got me right in for my cut. I always would suggest to make an appointment anyways, makes everything go smoother. I’ll come back, will suggest V’s to my friends and anyone else.

Experiencia fantástica: Joe Marcos is the ABSOLUTE MAN!! He’s a barber master, a solid all around person, and has a great sense of humor. I have enjoyed every single experience in his chair over the past few YEARS. I should’ve put up a review a long time ago!! He was open and willing to work with me to figure out the exact cut and style I had in mind. Now he keeps me SUPER SHARP on the regular - ie he’s really good, consistent and dependable. Not only is he a solid barber but a valued friend. I also bring in my kids with me every now and again and they’re always treated so well. They always want to come! It’s super easy to find a time that works for me with an account online just be warned he gets busy, so book in advance! The place has a good atmosphere and the other barbers are solid guys as well. Enjoy a nice cold beer or water and get a shoe shine will you’re at it. I’m super thankful for Joe Marcos and V’s. You will be too.

Experiencia negativa: One of the worst hair cut experiences from start to finish. I got my own hair cut and I got the haircut shave and facials package and I got a haircut for my 6 year old son. I scheduled an appointment for 11:15 I watched 3 people that walked in after me go to a chair prior to me or my son being taken. My son got his hair cut first he wasn't seated until almost noon. His hair cut went fine other than he was covered in hair down his shirt when he was done. No product was used in his hair after the cut. His hair was sopping wet and dripping water down his face. Once it was my turn I got my hair cut and all was okay. I got a hard part that was not cleaned up with a straight razor so I dont really have a full part. I told him to trim my mustache up to the top of my lip and he cut the length of it down to stubble. I told him not to take any length off of by facial hair. I was supposed to get a hot shave to line up my beard with a hot towel, and all that was used was a hot towel to wipe off the shaving cream. I was ( according to v's website ) supposed to get a massage. I did not get a massage in any capacity. I left with hair all over my shirt and a completely soaking wet shirt. No product was used in my hair to style even though I came in with my hair styled as I normally would. Mine as well was left soaking wet with water dripping in my face. To top it all off I was charged $157 for both of us. That is the most astronomically priced haircut that I have ever had. I though that it would be a day to relax and finally get taken care of and didn't get any of it. But was charged as if I did. This place is not worth the money. Do not ever come here if you value your time or money.

He is also always on time, so I never have to wait to get a haircut. I walk in five minutes before my appointment, sit down on time and leave on time. Which is really nice because of how Busy I am with work. I even changed my hairstyle to longer hair and he transitioned perfectly. That is why I’m giving him 5 stars.

My most recent visit, however, really stood out above the rest. I took my 19 month old son in for his very first haircut and couldn’t have imagined a better experience. Abbie was incredibly patient and kind while helping us keep him entertained and at ease during this new experience. I’ve used a few other barbershops around town but V’s in Joesler Village stands high above the rest. I highly recommend giving them a try.

I was on the verge of cutting it off when I went. Frankie really knew what he was doing and made me very happy. Oh yeah he cut my hair also. I noted the first issue to the second barber, but it came out very uneven and patchy again. The quality at this shop has gone down hill drastically.

Experiencia negativa: I do not recommend Bronson. Fade was terrible(I asked for a mid fade) but did not get the haircut I showed a picture of and explained to Bronson. Unfortunately he did not clarify anything with me by asking me questions and had a heavy hand with the straight razor, cutting me multiple times and bleeding. Also felt rushed due to next appointment waiting. Time slots should be longer. Quite disappointed.

It’s a really good combination of a classy men’s barbershop but has a more “down to business” approach to getting a good haircut but then getting on with your day. Efficient easy online booking is a big plus. I have to specifically mention my man Joe Marcos who I’ve gone to fairly consistently for over a year. He’s always done a great job with my head obviously. But I’m consistently impressed with his professionalism and how much he cares about his clients. He has no need whatsoever to remember details about my holiday plans from a year ago, but he does and brings it up. Great place. Highly recommend.

Experiencia negativa: Walked in yesterday (oct 2) morning knowing it was a stretch to get walk-in service. They were booked for the day so i set an appointment for today (Oct 3) 11:45am. After taking off early from work, I again drove the 30 min out of the way in an attempt to find a good beard service, upon entering I was made aware that I had no appointment but they can book me for tomorow morning. I'll find somewhere else thanks!

The guy at the front desk was very personable and friendly and we felt instantly comfortable being there. The place is aesthetically pleasing as well. Prices are on point and his barber was incredible! All of the services I was seeing in there by everyone were fantastic and I was seeing nothing but smiling faces walk out of there. Will definitely be repeat customers and will be bringing my other son and boyfriend for cuts here as well! 10 out of 10 recommend!

Experiencia negativa: My barber is great, which is why I keep coming back… But the front desk customer service is a wreck and needs immediate intervention for the sake of the reputation of this business. For months, calling to schedule/reschedule/cancel takes 5 or more calls to reach someone every time, and to make things worse, the voicemail is always full. I called yesterday to move an appointment I had at 1:30pm yesterday for 1:30pm today, which took 5 back to back calls. When I arrived, my appointment was not on the books as it should have been and no one had availability to assist. The front desk employee just made excuses, saying “oh you must not have talked to me because I took my lunch around that time”, which would 8:46am (the time of my call). I have a job interview this week, so this is a major inconvenience on top of rearranging my entire Mother’s Day schedule around this appointment I was suppose to have. A total waste of my time, patience, and gas today.

Experiencia negativa: The barber completely rushed through my trim, it’s supposed to take 15 minutes it didn’t take more than 5 minutes, ruined my mustache in the process completely butcherd my left side when i specifically said to leave mustache alone. They are supposed to be trusted experts but this guy just destroyed what took me 3 months to grow out.

The nearly instantaneous confirmation provided date, time, address, name of barber, and price -- all in a format that saved directly to my calendar. At the shop everyone was friendly, and my haircut commenced within two minutes of my scheduled time. My barber was professional and very attentive to my preferences. I was done right on schedule. Checkout was a breeze: just added a tip and tapped my phone. The whole operation seemed very well organized, and the shop setting itself was attractive. Free parking right outside the door. I left a very satisfied customer.

I told him how I usually get my hair cut elsewhere and then what I wanted differently. Based on this, he made some recommendations and got started. I got there and my barber was already cutting someone else's hair and didn't take me because "I wasn't there so he was taking his time" with the other cut). Ridiculous and not worth the money. Experiencia fantástica: I grabbed a quick appointment on short notice. I’ve never had a bad cut here, and it’s the only place I’ve been in Tucson that really understood what I was looking for. This visit, I was taken care of by Marco; he treats his craft like art and the quality shows. I’ve had several complements on the cut, from what can be some very harsh critics.

Experiencia fantástica: Marco gave me the perfect low fade & cut the top with precision. They also have complimentary beer while you wait. Combine those two and you have a perfect Barbershop. Will always come back.

Experiencia fantástica: Joe took the best care of me. He cut my hair exactly as I asked and then went the extra mile to make it perfect. I was watching all of the other Barbers at work and I don't think I would have went wrong with any of them cutting my hair. Nice setup. Clean, professional, and very personable. I'll be back.

Experiencia fantástica: Joe was awesome, he was so patient and understanding, it was my 5 year old first hair cut and it was special for us, and a bit emotional. He did an amazing job. My son smiled the whole time.

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve been going to Marco the last 4 years! If you need a low fade, mid fade, high fade, anything I highly recommend him! The atmosphere is great, they have beverages, and a huge lot for parking. Don’t forget to make a appointment, their schedule gets booked up pretty fast. There’s also plenty to do nearby!

Experiencia negativa: Called to notify the store I would be a few minutes late, call goes straight to voicemail. I show up 5 minutes late and was told my barber, a Bronson Smith, left a few minutes ago. So my barber left between 5:30 and 5:35 for a 5:30 appointment. Was told I could not be seen, and to reschedule for another day. Extremely poor and lazy customer service. Will never be back and would not recommend.

Experiencia fantástica: Love going to V’s Barber Shop. Bronson has been cutting my hair for a while now, and I’ve never been disappointed. The extra amenities are always nice - the brief massage, the cooler full of drinks, etc., and it just adds a nice touch.

Experiencia fantástica: Chris Figueroa is the BEST barber! I take my 8 year old son to get his haircut with him and he is always so excited because he knows he is going to end up with the freshest fade while looking sharp. The barber shop itself is clean, the barbers are very friendly and the best part are the refreshments! Icy cold can’t beat that!

Experiencia fantástica: My boyfriend has been to couple Vs barbershops even some in Scottsdale and they are an amazing barbershop at every location. We’ve been coming to Vs for years now and this location has become our main place. Everyone is awesome and my boyfriend has a go to barber here. Everything from the free drinks, clean/welcoming environment and amazing people make us happy so as long as Vs in business and what they do doesn’t change this is our forever barbershop.
