Experiencia negativa: I’ve been here twice, the first time got a solid haircut. The second time though, not so much. Lance gave me a haircut and, there’s no other way to say it, it sucks. He was a really nice guy, but being nice doesn’t make the haircut good. My hair looks awful and I will be wearing a hat for the next few weeks. Fortunately my hair grows quick, but man do I look bad. I never put product in my hair ever. After this haircut he suggested he put some product in because my hair was not going the way he thought it would (never had this issue at a barber before) and I agreed. The product just made me look like a bigger goof ball. I will be going to some other local barber in the next few days to see if they can salvage anything. Although my experience here was half good half bad, in the world of haircuts 50% is a risk I’m not willing to take again. I will not be returning to Vs.

Very glad I did. He gave me a complete transformation to a short, textured Caesar style. I love it. My wife loves it. My friends love it (or at least they all say the do.) Anthony is highly skilled, meticulous, patient, and a pleasure to chat with. I can't imagine having a better experience for what was a big event for me and a much more significant haircut than most. Experiencia negativa: I came it for a haircut. I showed the barber a pic of the haircut I wanted. I told him there would be minor changes due to my calics i have in my hair. My barber said he could do the haircut because it is a man's haircut, however never asked any questions as to what I was wanting. He cut my hair how HE wanted it cut, not how I wanted it cut, and it was cut uneven. Then he styled the hair and cut my hair to his style, making it even less like what I wanted. It is not at all what cut I wanted. Then he rounded the back line, I never cut it like that. NOW I am going to have to get this fixed. The haircut was uneven, and he razor burned the crap out of my neck. I am very unsatisfied, and wouldn't ever go back. It is one of my worst haircuts I ever had.

The shop is well appointed, has things like video screens at the stations to watch games, all the things that you might expect at a quality barber, both old and new. I was made to feel important--I didn't expect the hot towel and the straightrazor cleanup when I didn't get a shave. That was a great bonus.

You are greeted, checked in, invited to get a refreshment and pointed towards the seating to wait for your appointment. The barber was personable, easy to deal.with and asked questions to make sure he understood what I wanted. Haircut, hot towel, shave and trim, and finished with a quick shoulder massage. Absolutely fantastic. I will be returning.

I scheduled an appointment in advance, but when I arrived, I was informed that my barber was at a different location and was offered to reschedule. I went out of my way to drive there, only to be told this on the spot. They could have at least communicated with me beforehand. It was a complete waste of my time, and I’m beyond frustrated.

We all hurried to V's right after they opened and they were amazing at fitting all of us in to get haircuts, beard trims, and shaves. Experiencia negativa: This review is directed to the person in front and however this location runs things. I had an appointment at 3:00pm today. Arrived at 3:07pm. Now I want to clarify that I’m aware I was late. The person at the front made no attempt to accommodate me. Didn’t ask my barber. They claimed that they run on a schedule and he could reschedule me. I told him I was only 7 minutes late to which he responded with the same thing. I don’t know what their policy is on being late and I don’t know if it’s posted but that’s the excuse I was given. Almost every appointment I’ve ever had, I’ve had to accommodate my barber 10-15 minutes because they’re behind. Never once did I complain but the same couldn’t be done for me. I understand if they accommodated everyone, no appointments would ever be on time. I’m also not complaining that I wasn’t seen because I was late. That’s on me. The fact that there was no attempt from the person in front to even ASK my barber if he could still see me is ludicrous.

Experiencia negativa: I've been going Vs on and off for a few years. I usually get a mediocre haircut; the quality is not that important to me but I like the convenience. Today I had a 9am appointment with Julio -- first of the day -- and he wasn't even there at 9. He walked in 5 minutes late, did not bother to say anything, and spent the next five minutes organizing his area. After 10 minutes I walked out. The lack of respect for their customers is unreal.

Love his work but never starts at my scheduled time. Today, they tried pushing me off on a new barber. Very disappointed. Don't know why I wait 20 minutes past my appt time. If I wanted just any barber, I wouldn't bother scheduling with a specific one.

It’s very hard to make an appointment because of the work that I do. I called. They got me in right away. Elisha was my barber. Cool, Level headed, very considerate of the style i requested. Experiencia negativa: Been coming here since it opened, always been great, but this time....I checked in at the desk 10 minutes prior to my appointment, took a seat, and waited through my appointment time. No acknowledgement, all the barbers worked at a leisurely pace, one for sure too his break during my appointment time, another fiddles with his station, walked to the desk, went back to his station to slowly fold the apron, walked back to the front, appeared to not even know there was an appointment. After waiting past my appointment time, I left - had to go back to work. Last time; I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Experiencia fantástica: Every time I go to V's from the moment I walk in to the step I take out. These folks are amazing. They treat people with respect and courtesy. I always feel welcomed not like a customer but a friend or even family. The barbers there are all really great. They show attention to details and ask questions to get your feedback. If you don't like it they will continue to work to make it right. Plus you get hot towel and almost like a spa treatment. Then a very good hand massage. I thought that went away a long time ago. No these folks are great and just amazing every time. I tell everyone one of my friends to visit V's even if you just want to get your beard trimmed or get a quick line up. They got you covered for that date night or intimate evening with the wife. My girlfriend always loved the way I smell when I get back from there. It's old school but really nice. V's does both and the location was perfectly central so we made him an appointment and went in together. My friend and I were very impressed with the service he received! He got a nice, clean shave and trim. They do the hot towel on the face and all. The barber was friendly and made sure my friend walked out with the look he wanted. Honestly, his experience turned into a bit of a self-care moment as my friend had been dealing with a lot of stress lately in his life. I feel it is so rare for men to have opportunities to receive self-care like this so it really stuck out to me. This is more than just a barbershop - it's like a little community. The interior is really classy - I love the old-school look and green accents. Everything was clean as well. Honestly just a good vibe all around. They also serve free drinks which we all loved - even local beer from MotoSonora! Given that we have family back home who are hair stylists, I am little extra critical when it comes to hair care. V's is truly a quality barbershop that cares about it's customers. I got to chatting with some of the barbers and they mentioned that the stores have recently gone under new ownership and that the change has been a huge positive for everyone. Personally it speaks volumes to me when employees can talk highly of their workplace, so I felt it was worth mentioning here. I would definitely recommend V's to any of my guy friends/family!!

Then found out that they did not go to school and that prior to this they were a car salesman, only being recently hired. Had I known this going in I never would have gone here. The worst part about this was the barber I had regularly requested quit so, now I don't know where to go. I will never tip this man again. This was a mistake to come here. This was on April 30th 2024 for context purposes. This is not worth the prices that they are charging.

The place is designed to have lots of customers in and out very quickly. I feel like V’s is similar to Sports Clips in terms of vibe, but a step two better in terms of quality. My haircut turned out okay, though it was definitely not the best haircut I’ve ever had. The stylist didn’t seem very proficient with a straight edge razor and didn’t get the fade quite right. She was nice and I think she really tried to give me what I was looking for. They do the hot towel thing before the neck shave and the towels smelled funny to me. Not sure what that was about. They also provided a shoulder massage with one of those vibrating massagers. Overall the experience and haircut were okay, but I think I’ll keep looking for my go-to barbershop.

They made us feel immediately comfortable when we walked in for their appointments and they actually listened to what my kids and I requested. Experiencia fantástica: I had been a customer of Rich Cruz at the V's in Phoenix at 48th Street and Indian School Road. He was superb. I then moved to Tucson. I now have tried both V's in Tucson. The River Road facility from a customer service perspective is very poor. The Broadway location is superb. It is far superior to the River Road location., Great service, professional, clean and friendly. My barber at Broadway was Nainoa Butler. He paid great attention to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. I will go back and back again and again. Never again to River Road.

Line on back of neck was slightly crooked. Would come back here again, but wouldn’t let her do my hair. Worst I’ve ever gotten. Update: went back and got it fixed, looks much better. I would recommend Noah.

Experiencia negativa: So…. my nephews regular shop was closed and we decided to try this place. Everyone was very friendly but the lady who cut his hair didn’t listen to exactly what he wanted. The lines around his temples weren’t clean and he left disappointed. Probably will not return.

When I show up for an appointment 2 or 3 minutes before the time, he is always still working on a previous customer and I end up waiting for 10 -15 minutes. He is never ready for an appointment. Last time, I showed up 2 minutes before the time as usual. He was working on a previous customer as usual and I sat down to wait. This time, though, I ended up waiting for 35 minutes. While I was waiting, another barber started on a new customer and finished and I was still waiting. Whatever the circumstance was, when it is this bad, I think I deserve an apology, but he offered no word. There may have been some kind of unforeseeable circumstance that caused the delay, but the indifference and no apology meant total lack of respect for a customer. I am disappointed and have decided find another place.
