Experiencia fantástica: I have posted for you guys before as well but I just took my daughter back to you guys again for another wash and cut and as usual everyone was awesome, product recommendations were spot on, all staff treated my daughter and i kindly, and she was thrilled with her haircut. Thank you again for your consistent, great service and cuts, your professional staff, clean establishment, and being a business a picky teen keeps asking to go back to consistently. Had my first not great cut recently and came back to get it fixed, the team totally took care of me. Mercedes and the woman who worked the reception desk were great to deal with, no push back and never felt like I was in the wrong, my cut looks great. Thank you for taking care of this.

Experiencia negativa: I walked in with my son on a Saturday morning at 10:45. There were three staff and zero customers and we asked to be seen as a walk-in. They told us they were too busy to see us despite the fact that there were zero customers currently in the business. We scheduled an appointment to come back at 12:15 that day and showed up and waited and waited. They took several other people in front of us, despite the fact that we made an appointment and finally after the fourth person who had a 1230 appointment Was taken back, we left. I really felt like for some reason they didn’t want to take care of us. Will not be coming back. I understand if they were running behind but why were other people with appointments at 12:30 being seen when I was at 12:15 and we waited for 20 minutes? At least communicate with your customers so they know if there’s a delay.

Experiencia fantástica: I saw Ra to touch up my undercut and add a little shape to the longer hair on top. I felt so comfortable in their chair, especially as a queer person walking into a barbershop for the first time. Ra did a great job, checking in with me to be sure the shape was all what I was looking for. The fade is awesome and my wife and friends can't stop complimenting it! Experiencia negativa: Evan cut my hair doing a mullet fade. Something felt off the whole time but was incredibly nice. I figured everything was fine until I got home and really looked at it. He seemed like he was rushed. Floyd's is an amazing place and my usually person was available. I trusted in the wrong person. Mine wasn't as bad as others and it's breaks my heart because Evan was incredibly nice but should not be doing style haircuts. Management was incredibly nice about the whole situation left side of my hair is roughly 2 inches longer then right pretty damn bad. Trying to get it fixed today. I will say that the actual manager Haley was incredibly professional and nice. Edit: I just spoke with Sabrina (claimed she was assistant manager?). I am completely shocked at how unprofessional and defensive she was. I am hoping the calls are recorded so it can be screened. I couldn't even explain what was going on because she kept interrupting me and making wild claims.... Then kept saying she couldn't hear me towards the end when I kept trying to get her name. If someone could please reach out to me from corporate I would greatly appreciate it. She also tried making the claim that I didn't speak with their store directly when I called to make an appointment, that it was some headquarters that only deals with making appointments. Which is completely not true because when I called I specifically asked which location it was to make sure I knew where I was making the appointment. On a side note to anyone who is reading this all Floyds are not like this..... The greenwood village shop is amazing.

Experiencia negativa: Worst service ever . I spend like 70$ for everything. I had a very bad experience with Floyd 99 other branch and I explained that too before doing . This is the worst experience than that . Not at all satisfied My hair is the same as before no change at all . Whenever a customer is explaining something if you aren't able to do that please say no . But don't do it for money . Please thanks My services last for more than an hour . My time was wasted it's been a week still I can't get over that . I am depressed

I came in with a shaggy, overgrown mullet and left with a certified legend of a haircut—business in the front, full-blown rock show in the back. First real cut I’ve had in a while, and she nailed it. Cleaned it up without killing the vibe. I’ve been catching myself in the mirror like I’m my own hype man. Can’t speak for the rest of the crew—I was too busy admiring her work.

I began bringing my daughter because I liked their services and vibe so much and they’ve consistently given her great cuts, service, and are accurate with any pictures of cuts given as well as taking the time to inform my daughter how it will fall with her length and face structure. Everyone has been super kind with my teen and most recently I have to thank Mercedes for making her cut look great. She loves it and Mom is thrilled. Thank you guys always for the consistently kind and great service. We will be back again and again :) Floyd’s isn’t just for men. Their longer cuts are great and all of their barbers and hairdressers are top notch. Thank you all.

Experiencia negativa: Never going back. Stylist did not have a hair dryer. The appointment only lasted 15 minutes. Way over priced for a 15 minute beard trim and cut. I used to really like Floyd’s. But this shop is not the same it used to be two years ago.

Experiencia negativa: I have gone to this location multiple times, however, in this instance, I had a scheduled appointment and arrived early to said appointment, but when I arrived, I was waiting for about 30 minutes past my appointment time while other people’s haircuts were still going on. I am very disheartened that I had wasted so much time sitting at this location when I had a scheduled appointment and showed up on time. I had to walk out because at this point who knows how much longer I would have been sitting waiting. I will more then likely not go back again.

Experiencia fantástica: I love how inclusive Floyd’s is, and the thousands of stickers all send off positive vibes that the staff reflect. Kaitlyn was my barber, and even though I was too socially drained to talk the periods of silence did not feel awkward - she was friendly when we did talk and did a great job giving me the exact haircut I asked for.

Experiencia fantástica: From the first time I went to Floyd's for a cut, I've had nothing but a fantastic experience. I used to schedule cuts with one specific barber, but even with getting a cut with a different stylist every time, they are always attentive, have an eye for detail, and know exactly what they are doing. After every cut, I leave Floyd's looking like, and feeling like a million bucks Thank you to all the wonderful staff and stylists/barbers at Floyd's for upping my hair game. You all are absolutely phenomenal people.

Experiencia negativa: I just got done with my haircut by AJ. His demeanor was mid. We accidentally breached the topic of politics briefly and he was not shy to share his hatred of my chosen candidate, but he VERY quickly shut me down when I mentioned something that offended him. (I did not share who my chosen candidate was.) He was not chatty at all. He was humming and bebopping to something the whole time, though not the music that was playing overhead. It was BLISTERING cold outside and every other barber/stylist had the courtesy to do a quick blow dry on their clients, but he mushed me out into the cold with DRIPPING wet hair. He didn't even ask if I wanted it dried, I would have paid extra. He seemed in a rush to get me out because I guess that I offended him in some way. He botched my haircut. Worst "fade" ever, but I still tipped decent because I spent 20 years in the service industry. This was an awful experience. 100% would NEVER recommend. UPDATE: I called the day after (Wednesday) and talked to the receptionist Sabrina and she was cool. She was going to have the manager get hold of me. I got a refund at around 2am on Thursday, but I never did get the call from the manager. This wasn't about the money. It was about someone being unprofessional and immoral. The fact that the manager just refunded me without even hearing me out tells me one of two things... Either A) She knows that AJ is a terrible person so, she just returned the money or B) She agrees with his horrible treatment of me and had no interest in hearing anymore about it than was relayed to her by Sabrina. Super sad that the manager couldn't take a 10 minute phone call. Negative 3 stars!!!

Experiencia negativa: Terrible! Yes, that is 3" hair behind my ear. Had to cut 2"-3" off the top backside on my own. Didn't even clean up around my ears, obviously! Lots of missed/stray hairs, not even, all ends split bc cut wet with dull clippers. My "stylist" was Ryan, I chose his profile bc it said 15 years experience. That may have been embellished or he does not care anymore. Took me way longer to fix it than the 10 minute cut. I cut my ear too! Then you need to clean up all the hair in your bathroom and hop back in the shower... High-end establishments take in less than $100/hr/stylist. At Floyds rate they make way more off their stylist/hr than let's say "The Parlour." ($75 for 1 hour cut).

Experiencia fantástica: My kids see two different stylists and they are both great. My oldest sees Mercedes who always has him looking his best which is a big deal for a teenager. My youngest sees AJ who is amazing with my pre-teen - he listens to what he wants and my son loves being treated like an adult. I highly recommend both of them!

Experiencia negativa: Hairstyle mullet fade, @530 p.m. with a shampoo. The appointment lasted until 640 p.m. Evan was my barber. The moment the clippers touched my head, I knew instantly he messed up. I feel humiliated, and when i have to go to work Monday, i will be embarrassed. I work with clients (@ a bank) with 100k of banking products.To continue on with the appointment after the first mishap is upseting. Stopping the appointment and asking for help, i wouldn't have falted him. However, he continued on. I could've gone somewhere else to fix the hair, but as you can see in bottom photos, I'm better off going bold. If anything I said was confusing or contradicting of the photo (that i provided him x2), ask for me to clarify. I never had a problem until today, I would like to keep coming back, but I would need a refund. I only needed a trim on top to even out the style and a fade on the side.

Experiencia fantástica: Evan was UHmazing. I brought my son in for a fade. They only charged me for a kids cut So I was able to hook him up with good tip. He did the perfect blend of what we wanted and his creative skill/ expertise. Will definitely be back!

Experiencia negativa: I had been here maybe 3 times prior to to the last two visits with no isssues but twice in a row now I’ve had to wait for more than 30 minutes without getting a haircut with an appointment . Last time they told me after 30 minutes it would be another 20 minutes so I left. They apologized and said they’d give me a discount next time, so here I am again waiting another 30 minutes. I asked about the discount from last time and she said no. The front desk woman actually said this is a barber shop and to expect delays. I said expect 30 minute delays with an appointment, and she said yes. I walked out. If your life has a schedule I highly recommend you never make an appointment here! ——————- Floyd’s management please don’t bother to reply, I’d never trust fitting you into my schedule ever again!

Experiencia fantástica: Floyd’s barbershop is just what it says, a barbershop. The shop is fine but doesn’t cut your hair. I only see Beth at the Leetsdale location. Attention to detail, skill, and a great cut are the reasons I go there. I can’t speak for Floyd’s, I can speak for Beth.

Experiencia negativa: You can never just get a walk in appointment here. Recently went at 6pm and even with only 1 Person having their hair cut and 3 people in the shop they were too busy. Then decided to go next door to eat and when I left 20 minutes later all 3 were just sitting talking. Seriously doubt anybody else came in they just didn’t want to work past 6pm even with an 8pm close. Needless to say that this is the 3rd time I haven’t been able to get a cut and honestly won’t be back. This used to be a great place at once point in time but it’s showing its age and abilities.

Experiencia fantástica: I booked an appointment with Gabby based on her bio on the website (yes I stalked their website, read all the artist bios and went with the one I liked most). Even though staff was a bit confused about the appointment when my GF and I arrived we were both immediately greeted by the front desk young lady. She checked us in and had us take a seat. We were seen by Gabby one after the other. Gabby was friendly, once I showed her pictures of what I wanted she made sure that I was happy with the length of bangs I was going for, BEFORE cutting them. She also explained to me what she was doing the whole time and why my layers would be different than the picture and that's because I have VERY thin hair. Her being knowledgeable and providing the best haircut for my hair type was comforting. I'm SUPER happy with my haircut, Gabby was communicative through out the entire process. I will definitely be returning to her for future cuts and other services. You can't go wrong picking her! P.S. this might seem shallow but you can always tell who takes their career serious and is up to date with styles. Gabby was dressed stylish, her hair looked nice and her makeup was done. Idk maybe it's just me but I would much rather have services done when I see someone that takes their own looks serious specially in the beauty industry. Not saying other artists aren't skilled but just my personal preference.

Experiencia negativa: Been coming to Floyd’s for 10 years. Today I showed 15 min early for my appt to be told my hair was a little long for a Floyd’s cut. Said, “no problem if you charge me for a mid”. 3 min after my appt time, I’m told they don’t have time for a mid and would have to reschedule me. That’s 20 min wasted at the shop, over an hour in transit, and the front desk was rude about it, to boot. Floyd’s lost a customer today.

Experiencia negativa: Had an awful experience today at Floyd's on Leetsdale. I took both of my boys in for cuts, both of which were totally botched, not at all what I asked for (I showed very specific pictures) -- When I expressed my distress, the front end not only dismissed my concerns, they were rude and completely disrespectful -- embarrassing my kids and putting them on the spot by shouting, "Do YOU like your haircut?! Because that's all that matters!" We have a VERY important event for my son in a few weeks -- and their cuts actually do matter quite significantly. Our experience ruined not only the entire day but has affected my relationship with my kids -- they were embarrassed that I had to speak up about the cuts AND that they were put on the spot by the staff. We have loved our cuts at Floyd's in Boulder -- this was a horrid experience -- stay away!

Experiencia negativa: If I could give negative stars I would. I was rescheduled 2 times - Sabrina called me an hour after I scheduled it to confirm what I wanted, then rescheduled me from 4:10 to 7:10. When I showed up for my appointment she had cancelled it. So the receptionist who was there reschedule me for today at 11:15. I got a call from Sabrina again at 10:50 while I was sitting outside Floyd’s waiting to go in and told me that she had to reschedule me yet again because the stylist wasn’t there. I have never ever had issues with any other Floyd’s except this one. I will never try to get my hair cut here ever again.

Experiencia positiva: The staff are nice and friendly. But I wish he would’ve cut my hair the way I wanted so I would of tip him more but I still gave him 20% tip because it’s the right thing to do. I asked him to trim the edges of my hairline but he said I would need a certified barber to do it. I was confused but it’s okay. Also I’ve always had hot towels and shoulder massage when I went to the other Floyd on Colfax.

Experiencia fantástica: STYLIST: Booked with Mercedes, did not confirm Wish I did because it was lovely Service! Took the little one in to get a pretty big cut. I was nervous. They were nervous. In the end they were thrilled with the service & quality of the cut. 3 days later, still happy with it. No weird spots &darn near perfect version on what they wanted. SHOP:The balance between doing a good job and doing it quickly was well maintained and pretty impressive TBH. Five Stars.

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve had a couple not so good experiences at another Floyd’s. But I needed a cut stat. Simon, the receptionist assured me he would get me with a good barber. I told him what I was looking for. He booked me with Amy. Amy and I had a consultation, and I asked her to also use some intuition with the finishing and detailing. I did hair for 15 years, and she nailed my hair. Both Simon and Amy work as a great team, listen to clients, and sent me on my way stoked with my hair. Thank you, I was on my way to an interview. I got the job.

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve been getting my hair cut with Tanya N for years, and I’m glad for it. Being former Navy, I more or less got stuck in that hair style. So, when I decided to grow it out recently, Tanya was supportive with encouraging words when I was in that awkward “too long to be neat, too short to style right” phase, and she knew just how to cut it to keep it looking sharp no matter what. She’s dependable (even if I sometimes run a few minutes late she never does), she’s easy to talk to and she makes my Floyd’s experience worth their recent price hike. Keep this lady with you, Floyd’s, I have no doubt you’d be sorry if you lost her.

I wouldn't have gotten my haircut at all if it wasn't for the fabulous service from Simon at the front desk. I was on the fence about getting a cut because I usually just shave my own head. Experiencia negativa: Would like to give 0 stars. I sent my 2 daughters in this afternoon for haircuts. My younger daughter was belittled for having tangles in her hair. She is 7. The stylist, Tanya N, also told my kids there would be an additional $10 charge on a kids cut because she had tangles. I called and we were given the quoted price of $25, but then Tanya still had to make additional comments to my kids about the charges. She was also supposed to cut my other daughter’s hair, which comes just to her collarbone, and she was told she would be charged for a long layered cut instead of a mid length cut. She thus opted not to have her hair cut due to the shady behavior of the stylist.

Experiencia fantástica: I was amazed at how my first visit went today, I was greated upon entering the barbershop, Amy was right there waiting for me. Amy took me over to the chair and started asking what I was looking for and I wasn't quite sure but she was very helpful and knowledgeable about what might look best for me. Amy got started and it was really amazing how she took her time and she had such a gentle technique and you could tell she knew exactly what she was doing. Experiencia fantástica: Just found this salon on the CBS news web page as one of the best and affordable salons so I decided to try it out. I was nervous at the door, seeing a sign that said they accept walk-ins. To me, that meant they’re like those other fast salons. Then, I walked in and I see their walls are full of posters of musicians (not sure if any are new since I don’t keep up but lots of classic rock bands) and they also played loud rock music. On the back of the computer, a sticker warned if the music is too loud for you, you’re too old. So then I was thinking “Oh, no! I’m going to end up with some crazy rock hairdo.” And “Oh, they’re too cool for me!” Then, I got Stephanie, the manager, who was so down to the earth and such a delight. The best thing is she agreed that my old salon had given me a mullet. She couldn’t figure out how she messed up that badly! While there wasn’t too much she could do to my hair, she did connect some of my layers. I definitely think I found myself a salon! I’ve been hopping stylists for about 10 years. Yay!

Experiencia fantástica: At first I had Matthew cutting my hair and the guy did a great fade. Once he moved on they rescheduled me with Tonya, and I was hesitant because a good barber is like any relationship, you feel them put and trust them or move on. Tonya probably gave me one of the best fades I've had in a year. I'll be back and she'll be the only one cutting my hair as long as she's at Floyd's.

Experiencia fantástica: I went to Floyd's hoping for the best haircut I could blindly walk into. Finding a new stylist can be tricky and I was looking for a radical transformation. I had long ponytail hair that was uneven and burned from performing with fire. It was a fried fuzz mess. I had some pics of the hairstyle I was looking for and I was hoping for a "ballpark" haircut that slightly resembled what I was going for. I showed the pics to the stylist and she didn't even flinch and said, "no problem." Beth frickin crushed it! Nailed it! WOW! Thank you very much Beth! The quality of the "Euro-Hawk" haircut she gave me is awesome! Her experience and attention to detail is top notch! Stylists like her are hard to find. 1 billion stars!
