Experiencia negativa: This is the second time I’ve had a disappointing experience with your scheduling. I arrived for my appointment only to find out—after waiting half an hour—that the barber I was booked with wasn’t available. This kind of miscommunication is frustrating and completely avoidable. I sincerely hope moving forward, the staff ensures clients are informed about any changes or conflicts before they make the trip, not after. Respecting your clients' time should be a priority.

Experiencia negativa: Strange scheduling system. I was at the shop around 09:15 am, got added to waiting list and suppose to be the next one in line. Turns out there is a person who has an appointment for 09:00 am is running late by 40-45 mins and I was told that now I have to wait until the person who is running late gets taken care of. You have a customer in the shop waiting for last 15 mins and even though a barber/hair dresser is available for next person, you asked them to wait another 30 mins because some person who should have been there 30 mins ago is running late for any reason. I understand people take appointments but then they should be there on time and even if they cant be bcz life happens then its shop’s responsibility to not waste another people’s time bcz someone else couldn’t be there on time. I found this very strange and unacceptable. I hope they would take notice and make some changes. Disappointed!

Experiencia negativa: Walked in on a Sunday, was told there was going to be a wait which I understood. Fast forward an hour and a half later I was informed that the barber that was able to cut my hair had to leave early. Avoid this place for your sanity. Waste of time.

He walked in with what I can best describe as a shoulder length "Karen" bob and walked out with a short cut that the barber devised based on a few drastically different photos of cuts he was trying to decide between. Not only am I ecstatic over the cut, but my son loves it, too. He's gotten so many compliments on it in the past few days and those aren't easy to get from other high schoolers. 10/10. You've won my loyalty as a customer.

Experiencia negativa: went to Floyd’s Barbershop (though I’d call it more of a salon) for the first time, and it was one of the worst haircuts I’ve ever had. The lines weren’t even straight, and the stylist couldn’t manage a simple fade. The whole thing took only about 10 minutes, yet they charged $40. Right after, I went with my son to his appointment at another barbershop — my first time there as well — and they overheard me telling my wife how bad it was. When they saw the cut, they immediately noticed how uneven and poorly done it was and offered to fix it.

I took a chance on Floyd’s and immediately knew it was my new go to place for a haircut. Tiara at the Main Street Frisco location is amazing! She does such a great job on my hair every time. She’s so nice and makes my time their such an enjoyable experience. 100% recommend her to anyone looking for a new barber/hair stylist! She deserves all the recognition and credit.

Store is trying to fix the issue I’m having and they are open during a terrible time. Thought I’d update this. Update: watch out for them giving you stylist trying to speed run your hair cut. They’ll not work with you and argue about what you want. Not terrible, but walking in can be a coin toss at times

I just came back again and the same thing happened. I will never step foot into this place again absolute horrible service.

The barbershop has a modern look, relaxing & NOT pretentious feel to it, clean and well managed space. * Chris was very professional, and skilled at his craft * I received the best haircut in many years. I love the way he created the fades of my hairline. It was perfection. I love my haircut from Chris today. * I will definitely come back to this barbershop. Experiencia positiva: Floyd’s is an overall solid local chain barbershop. I recommend explaining exactly what you need over the phone first prior to your first visit so they can recommend the best stylist for you. Van is fantastic and usually in high demand for boys and men’s haircuts.

Experiencia fantástica: I have been coming here for a few years and always get the haircut from Marisol. Since moving to USA some 30 years ago, I always had bad luck getting a good haircut with my hair type (Indian Pakistani, Bangladesh, Asian) but can’t say enough good things about how good Marisol is at cutting my hair. She is on par, if not better than, with some of the high end barbers I have used before.

I asked the lady for a mid fade and a trim on top. Although the fade wasn’t too terrible the top of my head looked like a palm tree. Definitely not worth the $40. I will never come back to this Floyd’s, and I advise to whoever is reading this to never go.

I didn’t like my hair cut, i was trying to tell the stylist the spots that she needs to fix but she seemed annoyed and didn’t want to make an effort to do it so i just gave up and left, i had to fix my hair at home my self super disappointed

Experiencia negativa: Had two appointments with Charmelle B for the $55 full service (wash, cut, style) and both of us ended up incredibly disappointed. She finished both of our cuts in less than 20 minutes each, no washing, no styling. For myself, she claimed to be the only person in the salon who could cut curly hair but the layers are flat and after I styled it myself, I saw that it had no shape and my curls are gone. It’s all just frizz now. The only reason I had my hair washed and my girlfriend did not was because I specifically asked her to do it despite a wash being included in the price. My partner had long, beautiful red hair. she asked for a specific length, and the stylist completely ignored that. My partner wears glasses, and was unable to see the progress until the end. By that point, she had a shapeless bob and a straight cut - layers were emphasized, but none were incorporated into the cut. At that point, so much hair was gone there was no way to save it. We had two hour-long appointments from 12-2 and she finished both by 12:45.

The atmosphere of this place is welcoming, professional, and clean. The staff here are so friendly, and greets me with a warm smile when I got here. Experiencia negativa: “Unsatisfactory Experience at Floyd’s with Stylist Samvel H” On Sunday, April 21st, 2024, I visited Floyd’s for a haircut by stylist Samvel H. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Samvel H’s attention to detail left much to be desired. My beard and sideburns were uneven—one side shaved down, the other untouched. The asymmetrical sides and back of my hair were immediately noticeable. During the process, I felt discomfort on the back of my neck—likely caused by the razor—and an unidentified spray intensified the burning sensation and home now and it smells and still burns. What added to the disappointment was Samvel H’s silence throughout the appointment, creating an impersonal atmosphere. The entire haircut lasted less than 20 minutes, which was rushed and it shows. I now hesitate to return to Floyd’s or any other affiliated location. Losing my preferred stylist James S due to relocation further compounds the situation and his lack of appointments. I will explore other options, I hope to find a skilled stylist who provides a more positive experience.

Experiencia negativa: I will not be coming back. Not a great experience, tried to tell him what I wanted, all he said was yes. But didn't do it. I ask multiple times if he understood, he said yes but still did make it how I liked it. My hair cut is not terrible, but for the price please show some service. I asked for his recommend and was told he does not give any. Hi did not seem confident in his craft. That is why I will not be go going back.

I've tried many of the stylists here with mixed results, and finally won the lottery with Van! She is amazing and always does a fantastic job! Van gets a 5/5. The only reason for the 4/5 stars is that haircut prices have gotten really high. $34 (excluding tip) for a men's cut is on the high end. But I'll keep going because of Van!

Experiencia fantástica: I went in late on Tuesday to get a haircut cause I procrastinated getting one for my wedding Chris cut my hair and gave me exactly what I wanted, maybe even better. I walked out feeling extremely confident as it may be one of the best cuts I’ve ever gotten. I hope this message gets back to Chris as he saved the day with his exquisite ability. For all men’s cuts I highly recommend Chris, he deserves all the praise!

Experiencia positiva: Frequent this place for my son. Most always get great results and happy. Unfortunately, not sure if the front desk person is new or woke up on the wrong side of the bed but she was, let's say, a little less than friendly! She's pretty young, which may be what produces these attitudes but could definitely use a good straightening up, or at least some training!
