Experiencia positiva: I’ve been here quite a few times, and overall the haircuts have usually been better than places like Sports Clips, which I would expect given the higher price. That said, the quality really varies depending on who is cutting your hair. One barber in particular, T, did an amazing job, but unfortunately whenever I’m able to come in, he tends to be off. That’s obviously not his fault. However, when another barber is working, my experience hasn’t been great. I’ll leave his name out of respect because he has always been polite, but he does not listen closely to what I ask for and seems rushed during the cut. The haircut itself felt rough. My hair was pulled multiple times, I was scraped a few times, and there was no alcohol or similar product used around my neck or sideburns afterward. It also would have been nice if the loose hair had been properly wiped off instead of barely blown away. On top of that, there was no real attempt to style my hair at the end, which made it pretty jarring to look in the mirror and see it left looking messy. I really want to like this place consistently, but for the price, I expect better attention to detail, comfort, and listening to the client.

Experiencia negativa: Worst barber experience of my life This was hands-down the worst customer service and barber experience I have ever had. The barber who worked on me, Natalie (who goes by “Tili”), was extremely rough from the very beginning—pinching my skin, pushing my head forcefully, and handling my hair with zero care. Before the cut even started, I clearly told her to verify with me before every step and to treat my hair carefully because my appearance is extremely important for my profession. None of that was respected. She constantly talked over me, did not listen, and began cutting while I was still explaining how I wanted my hair. The biggest issue: I explicitly told her to ask before touching my beard. Instead, she cut off my entire beard without asking a single question. My beard is the most important part of my look, and it was completely removed without my consent. When I told her she cut my beard off without verifying first, she said “sorry,” offered 20% off, and then immediately started cutting again—still without asking how I wanted my beard shaped or aligned. At no point did she acknowledge my preferences. She was physically rough the entire time, pushing my head, cutting me, and leaving red marks all over my face. My face was burning, my beard was uneven and destroyed, and she was so rough around my mustache and nose that my eyes started watering. I was so disappointed and uncomfortable that I had to leave mid-cut and didn’t even let her touch the hair on top. I walked out with a ruined beard, red irritated skin, and a completely botched experience. This was unprofessional, careless, and unacceptable. If your hair or beard matters to you at all, I strongly recommend avoiding this barbershop.

Experiencia negativa: Absolutely livid with the final product of my haircut. Asked for a mid skin fade and the top longer but brushed up and back to the side a bit and showed a reference photo at the start. My hair on top went to my chin so I had more than enough to do the hairstyle but he cut off 5-6 inches off the top… and on the fade cut both of my ears. When I mentioned it was WAY shorter than expected was told ”Good thing hair grows back.” Wife saw it and is just as pissed off as I am since I’ve grown the top out for 2 years now. Couldn’t tell him either that he was planning to cut more off the top than I wanted because he had me facing a wall 99% of the time. He clarified I wanted it longer up top and brushed back I said yes and then I saw the 5-6 inches fall off and he kept trimming it shorter even after I said it was shorter than I wanted.

When I asked about the difference, I was told it was because they used clippers instead of scissors. I had originally requested a scissor cut, but the hairdresser mentioned she needed to use clippers on the sides. The haircut itself was great, but I was disappointed about the unexpected price increase. This should have been clearly communicated beforehand, along with the price difference.

Experiencia negativa: The staff was very polite outside of the barber, I brought my 11 year-old son in for a drop fade. The picture I showed the barber had the sides and back bald with a blended fade. The Barber did not cut his hair as instructed, had to go back and have them re-cut it with the bald fade. The fade itself was mid at best, the barber left hair around my son’s ear which I had to clean up at home. He did not wipe down my son’s neck and sides of his face with alcohol after the cut. The haircut cost $32 plus I left a 10% tip.

Experiencia negativa: The first time we went, we had an excellent experience. The guy who cut my son’s hair was very attentive and listened to my son for the cut we wanted for an upcoming event and did an excellent job. My son was so comfortable and open about what he exactly wanted. We went this morning as first client of the day. I tried to talk to the guy, telling him we are attending a family wedding and needed a specific cut. I tried showing him the pictures of the last cut. He didn’t pay much attention and started cutting in a hurry. He quickly chopped off one side, I thought he misunderstood so I got up and tried to tell him what we actually wanted to make sure he understood. He got angry and told the older lady ‘ you’ll have to cut his hair’ and quickly took the bib off of my son. I politely asked the lady for the guy who we saw before. She said ‘ he no longer works here’. Then I tried to talk to her showing her pictures, she also quickly started cutting without listening much. She quickly chopped off all his hair and finished the cut the way she wanted. My son kept quiet the whole time, and just at the end he said out of courtesy, ‘ it’s nice, Thanks!’. The guy at the front asked if he could do something to make us happy. I said, nothing (since the haircut is already done) I paid and we left. Extremely disappointed with the customer service. Everyone seem to be in such a hurry and didn’t care much. How can you provide a good service when you don’t even listen to the customer???

Experiencia negativa: I went into this barbershop to get a very simple haircut. I received a totally different haircut and it was absolutely embarrassing. It was done by a guy named Jeff. I get home and I can't even go to my job because of this embarrassment. I get a call from the manager because she heard about how bad it was and promised a refund in a couple of days. It is now more than a week and I haven't received a refund. I go to call the barbershop and they have blocked my phone number.

I took my kid to haircut there, my husband went inside with my kid, he stepped out to speak to me and when our kid came out and I saw this haircut I almost cried honestly. He had beautiful longer hair and all we ask to keep same hair but trim abit, he came out looking like a pot, like medieval monk , it’s been also all u even , like 5 yo took scissors and cut. I never saw someone do such a poor job honestly, and I never ever write reviews I also never speak up of anything goes wrong, I usually swallow it, but this level of unprofessionalism was crazy . Now it will take us another 6-7 month to grow it back nd my kid cried that kids bullied him in school

I showed him a picture of the haircut I was wanting and he gave me exactly that! He didn’t just take the clippers and buzz me all over, but he was careful and detailed and you can tell he’s cut hair for a long time! And when so many other barber shops charge $60 or $70 for a haircut I really appreciate that V’s Barbershop doesn’t price gouge! $36 is what a good haircut ought to cost! I plan to make Jeff my regular Barber.

Experiencia negativa: Our normal barbershop was closed today so I had to find a place last minute. I chose this shop based off availability and reviews; we must have just gotten an inexperienced barber/stylist. His hair is so uneven and horrible; I can barely comb it over and it’s so far off of what was requested. His hair was supposed to be cut in a 2 fade, scissor trim on top with a hard part on the left side. Our normal barber shop has zero issues cutting his hair when requested this way. The first picture was what I wanted, picture 2 is what we got. I really should have just let my son’s hair be long for picture day.

Experiencia fantástica: This was my first visit. I booked a 10 AM appt and had Makima as my barber. I will 100% be going back to V's in Frisco. I loved the atmosphere of the shop. It's traditional and calming (there was no loud music or TV's blaring which is what I have experienced in many barber shops-this is for some people but not for me). Makima is a great barber and a wonderful person. I will be returning to V’s and booking with Makima!

Experiencia negativa: I’ve been this location more than 5 times before and it was decent/good but I just got my haircut from what looked to be a new employee. She was trying to cut my hair like she was running a sprint, very impatient, The haircut is supposed to be a 45 minute service not a 10 minute sprint. did not care about my experience at all and was very rough with my hair, did not follow instructions, and also started hitting my ears with the comb. I don’t even expect this level of service from supercuts and I’m paying double for this. If it’s happening again, guess who’s not coming here again.

I have two boys, 12 and 16, that are happy we found him after visiting many salons in the area over the last year. His fades and tapers are great as well as his longer cuts… my boys could not be more different lol. So glad we can finally settle at V’s with KB!

As most of you know, finding a good barber is hard, at least until i had Ms. Hamel cut my hair. She's absolutely fantastic and never disappoints. Her acute attention to detail and friendly demeanor were exactly what i was looking for. I happily drive 30 minutes out of my way to see her and refuse to even try someone else. As long shes here, this is where my business will stay.
