Experiencia positiva: Big Sign on the street states "$20 dollar haircut and beard trim" went in at 10am --MADE AN APPOOINTMENT in person for 2pm I showed up at 145 - I asked for a simple trim I was on the chair for 15 minutes, when asked "How much I owe you" "$30 dollars " so I asked what about the $20 dollar haircut advertised?? ahhh that's with appointment -- Obviously the guy saw me this morning making the appointment -- No card just cash -- I don't like confrontations in barber shops -- so I stringed out the only cash in hand... and settled 1st and last time customer - I added the. Photos NOWHERE states any different price for appointments....

Based on the observations , I knew it was a lie again. I left. If you are a new customer, don’t go there. The priority is given to old ones.

When David is off and need a haircut asap, my next go-to Barber is Juan. All the barbers there are extremely good at what they do! You won't be disappointed. I'd suggest you get an appointment with your favorite Barber, so you're in and out without the wait time. The shop has a great vibe all the time. They are welcoming and always laughing. Experiencia fantástica: The one thing that keeps me going back to Rey is how he takes the time to tailor my haircut around my light spots. He’s consistent and I’ve reached a point where I don’t even look in the mirror after the cut. You should really book this guy if you get a chance. You’ll see what I’m talking about. Your haircut will be flawlessly faded (in my case) but more importantly you’ll notice his attention to detail. Most other barbers don’t take their time cutting your hair like he does. I have to say he’s very busy so try and book a day in advance.

Experiencia negativa: Not getting my haircut here anymore. Been going here for years and the owner is the best person to deal with. Cuts great hair and has great customer service however he has other businesses and hasn’t been at the shop. First I tried eddy…he rushed my cut and left me with patches never went back. Then went to Juan who made me feel uncomfortable and pushed my tape back never went back to him. I started going to Rey Castro and he’s a gem great service and cut but my days off didn’t align with his schedule anymore so I started going to the “new” Guy manny. We hit it off immediately great service great cut left me feeling like new! Not sure why but little by little he started getting more closed off when I would come in for my appointment. One day about two weeks ago I sat down for my regular haircut appt and manny started speaking in Spanish to Juan and eddy. Now remind you I’m not fluent in Spanish but I’ve taken classes throughout the years and it’s become like my second language…I’ve spoken to manny several times in Spanish in the past but I can only assume he forgot I understand however I thought my ears were deceiving me when I heard them going back and forth about “we should be open for appointments only not walk ins”, “I hate cutting black hair”, “they have hair like dogs”, “their hair is dirty and rough…”. Just to name a few. I didn’t say anything at the moment to avoid an argument and to avoid looking like the angry customer but it’s a shame that a barber you’ve been going to for so long can make you feel so unwelcome and uncomfortable. As a black person I am not giving this place my business anymore since my hair (which I take great care of, especially before I enter the barber shop) is that big of a nuisance for a barber, who’s job is to deal with my hair.

Don't show up on a Friday from 4pm to close because you will wait without an appointment. Only day closed is Sundays. Oh yeah how can i forget $10 haircut!!!All the guys there can easily charge $20 to $30 per head, but they don't. If you do you eyebrows and beard you walk out of their with a $15 or $17 bill.

Not only is it a good vibe, but they have the lowest prices in town which is why they are also the busiest barbershop around. The folks with the 1 stars and false claims about barbers keeping their money or the wait was too long is just a look at what these barbers have to deal with while working LONG HOURS to provide for their family . If your going ANYWHERE to get any service and don't plan to tip thats just plain rude and you should do the service to your self! Many times I have taken my son at all hours of the day and have witnessed customers not having enough money or not tipping, I can't help but think why even bother coming!! Smh these barbers have no need to keep anyone's money but prices are posted on two walls stating the obvious prices, they do have $10 haircuts but shaves and use of scissors are EXTRA! And keep in mind with any business ,.. IF ITS A HOLIDAY AND YOUR IN A RUSH GO BEFORE THE HOLIDAY OR MAKE AN APPOINTMENT WHICH THEY OFFER FOR AN EXTRA FEE!! Experiencia fantástica: Nothing like an amazing cut to make you feel your best! I walked in at the end of lunch hour on Tuesday and only waited so I could have Rey Castro. I was back home in an hour. The price was amazing, anyone complaining didn’t read the signs hanging up and doesn’t know what a good deal is. $15 for my cut, this cut was $35 in Denver, $30 in Tennessee. Only price I’ve gotten that was better was military base and you only have 2 cut choices. I also felt more accepted in this barbershop than I did in Tennessee. Don’t try parking in the front lot, easier to go straight to the back lot. Remember your cash too!

If anything, I’ve become more and more impressed by the consistent quality I’ve received. If you have time to make an appointment I would highly recommend it because these guys are always busy with other raving clients and are very sought after, but if you need to walk in I promise that feeling of confidence and readiness to take on the week is well worth any small wait. Make sure to ask for Juan, truly the hands that you can trust, but honestly any of the guys are great at what they do too. Since my time going to this shop I’ve been cut by Juan, David, Eddy, Lopez, and Castro and they’ve all left me looking and feeling like a brand new man. They are some great characters and always make my time there well spent with great conversations and laughter, a true pillar in the Davie community!

Very professional an outgoing environment, all they barbers are very outgoing and greet me as soon I walk in. I would highly suggest top notch over any other Barber shops in South Florida especially being these other shops charge 50$-60$ for trash haircuts.

Experiencia negativa: Thought I'd try them walked in there was like 15 guys crammed into a small space maybe 1 or 2 patrons wearing masks. F this I'll let it grow more. I'm no mathmatician but last i checked 8 barbers + 8 patrons getting haircuts, + another 3 or 4 waiting = 20 people in a 1200' space. I appreciate that you require your barers to be vaccinated but you have no clue as to the status of the customers. word of mouth says you do a good job which is why i stopped in but it made me uncomfortable. as far as Florida and it's laws concerning COVID we have a govenor that seems to think crusie ships should not require vaccinated guests does that tell you something? I think the prudent thing would to require your patrons to be asked and I realize this might be difficult but it is how I feel. I have empathy for your situation however. Maybe once we get 80=5 of the population vaccinated I will try you again.

My oldest son is autistic. He’s been cut by Aciel once when Lopez was off. He did great and was patient with my son. Lopez is also patient and treats my kids great. No issues. Keep going back.

Experiencia fantástica: After my barber moved I bounced from barber to barber. Until I found Top Notch. Me and my son get our cuts here only. Our barber is David "Chico." He is great! But all the barbers do a nice job. It can get busy at peak times but I usually call to set up an appointment to not have to wait. It cost a little more for an appointment but it is worth it for us.
