Fantastic experience: For five years my son has been on the hunt for a barber who can cut his hair just the way he likes it. Always traveling with an image to show…never any success. HOWEVER on 12/10/25 we found Nacho at Neighborhood Cutz. Nacho was polite to my eleven year son. Looked at the image and my son’s hair and prepared to give my son his most positive experience. The shop vibe is cool with great music and clean too. Once done my son said “ mom this is fire”. Thank you Nacho and see you at the next appointment.

Fantastic experience: This has been by far the best haircut my boys have had. Im super picky about who cuts their hair. I’m always worried who can cut their hair types and line good but Nacho is a true gem! Nacho cut my boys’ hair to perfection. He is insanely efficient and always start on time! I’ve never spent less than an hour in the barber shop with two boys getting their hair cut. One of my boys had his hairline messed up by someone in another shop and Nacho fixed his line up. The barber shop is a cool vibe not super loud, I can take my little girl in there with the boys and not feel uncomfortable. Everyone is respectful. I’ve seen other people cut and they are good too. This is my second time that Nacho has cut my boys’ hair since moving to LA and he will be their permanent barber. Not going anywhere else! If you are looking for a cool, friendly, efficient, talented barber go see Nacho at Neighborhood Cutz! He is truly the best! I’ve seen him cut all hair types as well and everyone comes out looking great! Money well spent!

Negative experience: If i could give 0 stars i would. Worst haircut i have ever received by far. Barber did not say one word and screwed me bad and had the audacity to charge 40$ bucks for something a week one barber college student could do better and thats being generous. Super disappointed. I showed him a reference picture (of me) not someone with a different hair type,it was me so i know it’s possible to replicate.I get a medium burst fade with a messy fringe on top. The Fade is non existent,the top is insanely choppy he went over my face with a foil shaver for no reason, i had shaved before hand. Honestly should not have had to pay for such a mess and bad experience but i get people gotta make money even if that’s faking being a barber. All the other barbers in the shop knew he was gonna mess me up too that’s why he had an empty chair. But before telling him to cut me they had me wait 30 min for no reason (i was the only walk in). Didn’t get his name since he didn’t say a single word to me but his is the second chair on the right side of the shop. Long story short now i gotta buzz my head to make up for his mess save your time, money and hair don’t be like me.

Fantastic experience: It was my first time coming to this barbershop I was in need of a haircut because tomorrow is Fourth of July. Right when I walked in the environment was clean and modern. I didn't know which barber to pick since there were so many in the shop but i decided to go with Ricky that's in the back of the barbershop. He was very nice and very respectful he did exactly what I asked for and his fading is very nice and clean. I noticed he also cleaned his clippers every time he used them. But if you're looking for a nice fade Ricky is the way to go.
