Negative experience: For over 6 years, I've dealt with Trell Jones' foul, moth ball-smelling breath, and while he's good at cutting hair, he'll use your connections and skill sets for his own personal gain, embarrass you in front of other shop patrons, and let his employees disrespect you. Also, be prepared to be potentially spit on by Trell, as his spit is constantly flying out of is mouth during the cut. In my opinion, Trell is a discriminatory clout chaser who will cowardly text you an hour after cutting your hair to let you know he can no longer cut your hair because it "hurts" his shoulder. I confirmed with Trell via phone today that he specifically does not want to cut my bald head due to a “hurt” shoulder and despite his "hurt" shoulder, he's happy to keep cutting other bald patrons. He also claimed to me he’s no longer providing the service I’ve been booking for years, but his schedule still reflects availability for booking through next year. I highly suggest you find another barber to invest in that you will get the value for what you’re spending without potentially being discriminated against. If anyone reading this has a similar experience, please feel to contact me directly, as I’ve already started legal proceedings against Trell Jones and Fade U for his alleged discriminatory conduct.

Fantastic experience: Took my 2yr here as a walk in. He was cut by Jay. I showed her a picture for the inspo and she executed it perfectly. Normally when i take him somewhere they either complain that he’s too young so they’ll just give him a regular cut with no style because they assume he’ll move too much. She was patient with him because he is very ticklish. She wasn’t rough with him and very precise. I definitely will be returning back to her everytime i need my son’s haircut. For the work she did i think the price is very affordable. The pics are to show you the day before he got his haircut and right after. So glad I decided to stop by

Negative experience: I went in for a haircut and waited about 20-30 mins. Once I was seated, I asked for a taper fade with my hair on top cut down to a 1 1/2. After cutting my hair, she insisted on a shampoo, which was a quick and easy wash without conditioner. Took maybe 2-3 minutes. The fade was mediocre at best and the shampoo was as simple as washing your hands, and I didn’t ask for it. She failed to tell me that the shampoo would be $20!! So, I left being charged about $70, but after hesitation it was lowered to $65. $65 for an awful haircut and a 2-3 minute wash!? Robbery.

Fantastic experience: Jay is amazing warm, personable, and makes you feel totally at ease, almost like Southern hospitality. I go weekly, often looking a mess, and always leave feeling gorgeous. She’s incredibly talented, efficient, and detail-oriented. I appreciate how flexible she is with scheduling, and her pricing is great especially for being right off Hollywood. Her enhancement work is so good, I no longer even think about getting a hair transplant. Highly recommend her professionalism and skill I’ll keep coming back even if I move out of Hollywood. She is basicallly like family.

My waves haven’t been this wavy and my line up hasn’t been this crispy in years.
