Fantastic experience: I’m a self care bald guy. I brought my 12yo boy in yesterday for an appointment with Shawn. He did a great job but my kid was not happy with the outcome because he’s 12. Another gent welcomed him over to his chair talked with him and finished up. Shawn insisted on not charging us. I got my kid out to the car and came back in for an adult chat and after full insistence Shawn accepted payment from me. All of this to say - if I had hair this is where I’d go. They are menches

Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming here for over a decade, and it’s great. Dutch is the best. He always gives me a great cut, and he’s really professional while still being cool. He can make small talk with the best of them, but he also won’t if you’d rather just zone out. I literally don’t go to anyone else. I drive 30-40 minutes to go to Dutch.

I read a LOT of great reviews of the guys & gal that works there, then selected Josh “Beans” to try for my first haircut there. Easy to get to location mid town just off of Hwy. 50. Josh was great, easy to talk to, had some similar interests & he gives a great haircut!! Price is a good value for the service received. I always give a good tip as well.

No matter what phase you’re going through — he makes it work. Shawn is another one I go to as well. Everyone there is efficient and courteous, truly one of the best!

Fantastic experience: Best Barber in Sac. Also better than any barber in Rio Linda, Davis, Roseville, or Bakersfield...and probably other cities too! For real though, he's good at what he does and he seems like a good guy. He reads his customers well and if you're the sit and be silent type while he cuts, he doesn't force small talk on you, and on the flip, hes 100% capable of chatting people up too. That dynamic of knowing who wants to talk and who doesn't is almost as important as ability. Also, he works quick and runs on time. So to sum it up, the 4 things that matter to me are: 1. The actual haircut 2. The experience during the haircut 3. The wait before the haircut 4. And how long does the cut take once you're in the chair He nails it. 4 for 4. What more can you ask for.

Aly, once again, was able to absolutely nail the cut and left me looking better than ever I could tell right away that the entire staff is sharp and great at what they do. The shop is covered in style and personality, which can also be seen in the process and results for myself and other customers. Aly give an awesome, clean fade, which always leads to numerous compliments.

My daughter suggested Anthony (the owner) because several of her friends spoke highly of him. Tried in vain to contact him, to no avail. Gave up and took a chance with Shawn at the Freeport location. He did an amazing job and I’ve been seeing him for about 3 years now. Always a great cut and great conversation as well. The shop vibe is like Cheers, I could just hang there for hours. I recommend him and Anthony’s to all the old guys I know. 10/10 across the board.

If you're from out of town you can definitely trust this place to give you a great haircut. I have tried a couple different spots in Sacramento, but this is the best spot I've found. I always go with Alex, but have had Brian cut my hair before and they both do a great job. I definitely recommend it to locals and people from out of town.

Fantastic experience: I've taken my 16 year old son here a few times and he's had Joshua and I just brought my other two teens and they saw Shawn. After going to a kids salon for a long time, I figured it was time for them to go to a barber. I love it there. The barbers are always just talking and having a good time. The music is always good and just the overall vibes in general are good. I showed Shawn a picture of what my two younger teens wanted and he did a great job. They love their hair. Aiden has seen Joshua every time and after the 2nd time he just knows how Aiden wants his hair. You can tell these barbers love what they do and they like working with each other. Will keep taking the boys here.
