Fantastic experience: My wife and I are visiting Virginia Beach for Valentine’s Day while also celebrating my mother’s birthday. We were heading out to dinner tonight, and I needed my beard trimmed. I knew getting into a barbershop last minute on a holiday weekend would be tough, but I walked into The Fade Game Barbershop anyway. The owner immediately asked if I had an appointment, understandably, I didn’t, but they still worked me in without hesitation. LA the Barber trimmed my beard. He was professional, and extremely accommodating. We talked about life, family, and everything in between, and the experience felt genuine, not rushed. Most importantly, my beard came out looking great. Top-tier service, great conversation, and real hospitality. I absolutely recommend this barbershop and will definitely be back. Five Stars ⭐️

Well lit indoor with plenty seating, and respectful barbers, brothers and sisters, that are qualified and talented to produce a fresh cut experience. Mind you it's also in a area of Virginia Beach close to town center and lynhaven mall. So your already in the mix to step out after your cut for sure. The barber I go to at this location is Dom. When I went to this location. It was as a walk in and I needed a cut for an evening church event on a Tuesday. He was booked and had an appointment about to come in. However, after explaining to Dom my situation, he managed to take care of the cut for me so I could still manage the rest of my day. I assure you that meant alot to me for him to do that cut for me. When my cut was done I was appreciative of the results. First time and he got the cut right. This barber has the communication, easy booking, reasonable prices, and even emergency booking, with times from morning to night available. I actually give more than the recommended price because he's that good. It feels good to have a locked in barber again at a great location of other talented barbers as well. I will be referring all my detail clients and production clients to Dom and always look forward to booking with him. He is also responsive through messages in the app if anything comes up. Fantastic experience: This location was convenient and right off the interstate. The service here at the fade game was unmatched. We walked in about 5pm with hopes to be service without an appointment and we were. I was greeted by staff as soon as we walked in which gave us a warm welcome. The seating area to wait was really comfortable especially since I have a busy toddler. Alvin aka AP was very attentive to my son needs. He educated me about my son first cut options which was good to hear because I had no idea on what kind of style to get him. He made my son feel really comfortable while getting his first cut. My boy sat very calmly which gave me a-lot of trust in AP professionalism. Another awesome perk that I like was there were barbers for all types of hair cut styles. But there are plenty of barbers there where walk ins are always welcomed I was told. Now I walked in looking like a homeless man with overgrown hair and beard. Negative experience: My son went there today for the first time ever in hopes to trim his hair and when came home his hair was chop up all over his sides were uneven his curls man…GONE.. wasn’t even a fade all his hair has sports were longer and others short . I couldn’t even fix it and he refused to go back . I don’t know the barbers name but he really left a bad impression on my son because he seems in a bad mood and felt rushed. His hair is mixed we are puertorricans and he really was exited to go to this barber shop due to the high reviews . Disappointed as best.

Negative experience: I bring my boys in there to get a Haircut before school, 3&4 years old.. Our old sitter Stephanie recommended us to go here. We arrive, not a word said to us, after about 45 min they ask if “we’re there for a haircut and if we have an appointment”, I said “yes and no we’re walk ins”, then we waited another 30 min. Finally got called up in the chair as if we were a nuisance.. granted It’s my sons first time in a barbershop, first time getting a real cut and the barber was just not nice, a jerk tbh. Would get upset when my son would move the slightest, showing way too much negative body language, rolling his eyes, grabbing/moving his head in frustration. why is he handing himself like that? mean no class, do better. Your job is to cut hair brotha, do it without turning future business away with your attitude.. Wild part is my son was going so well! He sat still Aware the barber was not being nice. He wasn’t moving, he was being a kid and got uncomfortable from the hair a couple times.. just not cool stuff, a complete jerk. All the way on the end, right side. He wasn’t touching my younger one, we left. Overall I wouldn’t recommend for kids, or for a quick cut because they have no waiting system, no order. Someone who comes in 15 min after you with no appointment as well will get seen before you‍♂️.Bunch of dudes who think they’re the main character lol. I’ve been to barbershops my whole life, the energy in this one was embarrassing!

Fantastic experience: I just visited this establishment yesterday and everything in the shop from the people to the service to the haircuts to the owner, are all point. The owner has become a really good friend and little brother to me as well as being one of my biggest supporters to continue to do good and great things. The shop is well lit, it is in a great location and has numerous barbers from different nationalities that are prepared to give the best service ever. This is the best run shop I've ever worked in or visited. Now that's big because I've been cutting hair over 40 years. So I pray for their continued success and victories in the future with the shop and its employees. Also I want to send a special shout out and blessing to my little brother, Alvin Parker aka Mr Parker is winning!

As a FA and traveling all the time I tend to have to look fresh and give barbers around the country a chance… after an unfortunate experience in Pittsburgh, I was weary of trying a new barber in ORF. I came to The Fade Game where I had the privilege to meet Kyla who not only greeted me but hooked up my uneven hair. She was the sweetest and took her time… I left feeling so good and so impressed! You have a real gem there and will definitely let my FA/PILOT friends know where to go when overnighting in ORF.

We were a walk in and were given the option to get a cut by someone still in training or wait for someone else. I decided to let the trainee cut my son’s hair. She did a great job!
