Fantastic experience: Could never really find a barber since moving up here till now, reason why I barely cut my hair, but now definitely my go to for my cuts. Diaz absolutely killed it, it was so relaxing I fell asleep for a bit haha, I should’ve took a before and after because it was one helluva transformation. Don’t hesitate, stop on by, I’m sure all the barbers here are absolute beasts with the clippers.

Negative experience: I brought my boys in here for set apts. we arrived 10 mins early to be courteous of the barbers time. Unfortunately they don’t have the same values. Waited 25 mins over our apt time. The hair cuts… mediocre at best. Went in for fades and came out with the most out of pocket line ups ever. Is it worth the cost?! No. Not at all. 120 bucks for crap. I can’t speak to all the guys cutting hair here cus I know they are independent but over all not happy with any of it.

Fantastic experience: Long story time. I moved here (Feb 2024) and needed my beard trimmed. I went to another spot that wasn’t the business and promised me a time and had me waiting an hour plus longer. Ended up leaving. Made an appointment with first available at Prolific. I came in, super friendly staff. Even chopped it up with Sammie if you don’t know, probably a top 20 barber in the US. My barber comes in late (for the record, the ONLY time he’s been delayed or behind on his schedule) with a big ass drink from Dutch and his clippers still in the box. I’m thinking “uh oh” but you know let’s see. I told dude what I needed and when I tell you it was like Picasso shaping and understanding my face shape like it was his own, I was more than blown away. I found my barber. I’ve been coming solely to see Solo ever since. Not only is he this amazing person who is authentic and very hospitable, the man can flat out cut anything. Beard, hair, bet he’d be able to do a lion or something. Solo is the best barber I’ve ever had touch my hair and I look forward to many more years of being blessed by him. Do yourself a favor and when you book - select Solo and know you’ll be in superior hands.

Negative experience: I didn’t go in. I stopped by and saw you needed an appointment so I went and found a barber I could walk into so I have no opinion on this place the one star just because it’s an appointment only.

Negative experience: My sons birthday is Sunday he said he wanted a hair cut from the barbershop so I booked the 50$ appointment which I dont mind paying if it's worth it my son and I went over what he wanted and even found a video on tiktok to show the guy. Denis obviously didnt watch the video because my kids in tears. We won't be going to Denis again maybe we can try a different stylest ikd super disappointing

I have never left with a bad haircut. But Justin has been my go to guy for the last year. He’s got a trophy on his toolbox for a reason. Fantastic experience: I had the pleasure of meeting Justin and getting a cut from him (haircut+beard trim) i appreciated his quality and attention to detail, personally my favorite part of the cut is the hot towel and straight razor, i find it very relaxing after a long week of work, Justin took the extra step to provide that. I’ve gotten many cuts at this location with multiple barbers (also haircut +beard trim) and not a single time did i get treated to a hot towel and straight razor, im not putting the other barbers down by any means for their hard work, I can just appreciate a barber for going the extra mile and making sure the customer gets the full experience!

Negative experience: Booked an appointment and the stylist canceled but offered to give me a complimentary cut to come in later. I rescheduled and came in. Halfway through, he stopped to talk to his friends while I just had to wait, then charged me in the end for the cut, which was only an okay cut and didn't do what I asked him to.

Fantastic experience: I checked out 3 barber shops before coming here and I've been coming here since then. I won't go anywhere else or even consider it. Justin, my barber is truly a man of his craft. Not only a great cut and beard clean up but always a great attitude. Sammy (the owner) is also a stand up guy as well. Book online and get them for your next cut. I promise you won't be disappointed.

Negative experience: Made my son an appointment. Due to an a family emergency we had to cancel. The cancellation policy states you must cancel within 12 hours of your appointment. I cancelled 18 hours before our appointment. One of the staff members, charged me a $25 no-show fee anyway. “SammyCuts” refused to answer both emails I sent asking for the fee to be refunded as I followed the cancellation policy. Finally I called and the “owner” stated it can’t be refunded once charged, but they would give $25 off our next hair cut. Essentially forcing me to use their services, and they keep my money. After the run around I don’t want to give this place my business anymore, and would like my $25 refunded. Since they refuse, even though the cancellation policy was followed, I have to go through the hassle of disputing with my bank. Thankfully I have proof I cancelled way ahead of time and should be easy to win the dispute. Avoid this place. Update: Per the businesses response, I did cancel via the booking confirmation email, and received a confirmation email that my appointment was cancelled hours PRIOR to the 12 hour cut off. Stop blaming your employee incompetence on “user error”. I also emailed the business TWICE per their policy if I felt I was charged in error and emails were never responded to. Maybe invest in a system that is reliable, since you claim nothing was received on your end. Hard to believe since I received a confirmation email the appointment was cancelled well outside the cancellation window. Which is why I won my chargeback, since I provided that email proof to my bank.

Fantastic experience: Iv been here twice, first time was to get my hair braided for my wedding. I showed her a pic of what I wanted and she did exactly that! Second time was for a hair cut and Sammy did a good job with the new style I was going for. The place was as clean an had a good vibe.

But most importantly, he's a true professional. He's always learning and improving—recently completing another course, which really shows in his work. Fantastic experience: Vitaliy is like a living cheat code. You walk in looking alright and walk out a lady killer. Dude is methodical and mean with a razor and clippers. Your cut will grow out still looking good before the next visit. Spends his hard earn dollars reinvesting in the best product and equipment. Hair or beard he’ll make sure every strand is where it should be. Worth every penny. I see him before every important meeting/date/ even my wedding.

Negative experience: So so so disappointed. payed way to much and had the worst cut i have ever had. i asked for not even 1inch off and now i have less then an inch all around my head (i had at least 4inches). I can’t even look at myself in the mirror it is so horrendous. and on top of that they won’t let you look in the mirror while they cut your hair so you can’t give any input. I had even given photos for context of what i wanted and put it in the notes when scheduling asking for layers which i did not get. they clearly only know how to do fades. don’t go here especially if you have a big event coming up like i do. i would give negative stars if that was a thing. (writing for my boyfriend)

Fantastic experience: Prolific has a really clean environment for this area. Places in Battle Ground feel nasty sometimes but I consider working at Prolific just to have a clean environment to step into. They offer you drinks at your welcome and have cozy music playing constantly. All the barbers are friendly and they can are a whole range of different personalities just to fit how you wanna leave the shop. The first time my mom took me here, she was in awe herself about how cozy this place was and how all the barbers knew what they were doin. Not even that, my entire family was wantin to book with Prolific when they saw my haircut. I’m telling you Prolific is a virus. They’re taking my family members and they’re taking all of Washington fr.

Fantastic experience: Dre did a great job on my sons hair. His communication was on point as well. My son said it was probably the best experience he has had in a chair, thus far!

Negative experience: It’s funny because the barbers were talking about how they hate being canceled on, well I hate scheduling an appointment, just to sit there for over half an hour with no idea what’s going on. The barber who was supposed to cut my hair saw me sitting there for over half an hour and could’ve at least updated me. He was still cutting someone else’s hair when I showed up on time for my appointment. 15 minutes later when I assumed it was my turn he starts cutting someone else’s hair. I don’t know what to call that if it isn’t double booking. Just unprofessional. Maybe teach the new guy how to schedule before losing more customers.

Fantastic experience: Good evening, I really enjoy this shop since I started bringing my boy over for a couple years. I recently stoped by because I decided to shave my head for a fresh start. I didn't know what to do with my hair as I am allowing it to grow but I knew I wanted to looked clean as I grow with my hair journey. I met a very kind individual named Dre' that didn't hesitate, he heard me, took his time and did an amazing job at creating a beautiful cut that would best fit my look. He also made me feel as if I was not alone on my journey and that is something I cherish.
