Fantastic experience: This is the only place I go to get my haircut. Followed Felicia here from another shop a few years ago and refuse to go anywhere else. The feel is pretty chill, I also bring my 4yr old to get his hair cut here as well. When he was still too little to get cut often, he would hang out in his carrier while I got cut. I normally get a hair cut and beard trim, and cleaned up with hot towels and a straight razor to make sure all of my edging is good and clean.

Fantastic experience: Uppercuts is top tier! The shop itself has a good feel to it, but what sets them apart is the customer service. They accept walk ins which can be a good thing if you’re in a pinch for time or have last minute occurrences. You can count on any barber to get you looking brand new, but as a person who prioritizes time management, appointments thru the “Square Go” app is where I lock in. I can’t finish this review without giving a huge shoutout to Karla! She’s a professional who’s punctual, is patient with my son, and provides an unbeatable service. Fantastic experience: Before finally getting a clippers cut it was all scissors for me, about 7 years back I decided to finally try something new and give it a shot, I looked up Uppercuts and picked Stephen out of the barbers that were there. Since that day on I’ve never gone back to scissors, and kept my on going appts with Stephen since. I tell my girl it’s my therapy time every-time when I go, good and friendly environment and been nothing but great since day 1. I referred plenty of people from work and even most of my family goes in as well. Stephen and the uppercut family have always shown my family and self nothing but professionalism and gratitude every time we’ve walked in.

Negative experience: I will be making a formal complaint to the state licensing board for barbers, the state Attorney General's office, and the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) for false advertisement. I got a cut last week with a barber and he told me about the military and first responders hair cut special that is 21.00 on Wednesdays. It does say it depends on the barber and the services you get. When I walked in today a young lady asked if I was a walk in and she could cut my hair. I asked her if she is could cut my hair for the price posted on window for 21.00 veterans and first responder haircut. She said yes I said thank you. Then some other male barber walks up and says its actually 28.00 now like he was trying to see if I would go for it. He said it with a smile. Then he said its because of the economy. After that he asked another barber hey its 28.00 right?? Like ge needed confirmation and the other barber said yes. Im a long time Sales Director for Berkshire Hathaway and I oversee hundreds of employees. I can smell bullshit and bait and switch miles away. I could tell from his body language and demeanor for one that he was trying to put me together. I walked out and he kept telling me to read the window. I did read the window and its false advertisement. Whats shameful their using Military and First Responders to gain customers but the they changed it uo when u get there. They can say what they want but its posted and the young man that cut my hair last week told me how it works. He said it was 21.00. Thats why before getting my haircut today i asked the young lady that was going to cut my hair she eveb said yes I can honor that price.. I will be filing a formal complaint. And I actually took a picture of the window last week and I will sending that in my formal complaint against these crooks. Profit is not a dirty word just do businessthe right way. I guess the statement is always true. You never know whos going to walk in yiur front door. Just do business the right way. Semper Fi
