Negative experience: Avoid Nando at 817 Barbershop off Bowen Rd in Arlington, Tx. He overbooks his schedule, he is consistently late to appointments and is extremely rude to his customers. You will be later than scheduled and expect horrible service.

Positive experience: Very good barbers, they know exactly what to do and how to do it given at your decision.

Fantastic experience: Cal cut my boyfriend’s hair & it looks amazing! My bf was a bit worried about finding someone who can cut Asian hair but Cal did an awesome job! My bf loves his new look. Will be coming back again!

Fantastic experience: V is absolutely wonderful!!! My pedicure was great the care and tips shared also helped me to understand how to best take care of my feet in between services. The place is clean and atmosphere very relaxing!! And the massage during the pedicure just worked out my tension and good relief.

Ever since he cut my hair for the first time I’ve gotten many compliments! I’ve gotten to the point where I just let him do his thing with my hair because I trust him with it. This builder in a bottle is perfect for natural nails. No rushing the quality because of crowds. I live in Abilene, but I will be back.

I started with Ashley and she did a wonderful job on my nails, very dreamy exactly what I wanted. From there I booked my 3 week fill with V as Ashley was booked at the time and V does just as magnificent of work. I’m sure anyone at 817 has the same top notch standards and I cannot recommend them enough. V is so sweet and takes great care throughout the entire process. My nails have never been healthier and I get so many compliments. This is my one and only nail salon from now on!

Fantastic experience: I was in Arlington for a few hours and had some time to kill so decided to stop in for a cut after driving by. Anthony and the guys in there know their stuff and have great energy. I got honestly one of the best haircuts in a while and he took his time and put care into it. I usually go to chains to get my haircuts but I’ll be making the hour drive from Dallas to get my cut here from now on.

Fantastic experience: I initially went because my friend set up the appointment for me. The level of care was great, the barber really gave me a high quality cut including trim of my mustache and goatee. I went in looking almost like a mop (2 months since previous cut) and left looking and feeling so much better. Definitely plan to go back.

Fantastic experience: This was my first visit, and I really had an awesome experience. The studio is cute and has nice positive vibes. Ashley was really nice, and her sole purpose was to make sure that I have healthy nails. She challenged me to think about my nail growth and gave me tips to follow between visits. Although I only worked with Ashley, all of the nail technicians in the studio were very nice and greeted me with a smile. I have already booked my next visit, and I can't wait to see the progress of my nail growth journey.

Nando is awesome- he greets you right as you walk in the door and in addition to being a cool person to hold a conversation with, he gives me an excellent haircut that people always compliment. I’ve literally told him to just cut my hair however he thinks would look good on me and it came out great. They have a UTA student discount too. Fantastic experience: I decided to find an acrylic free salon and 817 Manicure Studio was the first to pop up. I met with the owner Ashley and I would recommend anyone to go to her. She is AMAZING!!!!!! She has made my nails more healthy than they have been in years due to the wear, tear, and chemicals from the acrylic and nail infections. I wish I could give her 10 stars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Negative experience: My first time to visit the shop was not a good experience for me, Im sorry to say. The black Gentlemen, Brandon went way to high on one side of me head with his fade. When i told him he said, yeah i know. Then he charged me full price for his mistake. I wont be going back there, that's for sure.
