Fantastic experience: Went for the first time and experience was like no other. Ellie was my stylist for my first appointment and was amazing. She was personable, yet still professional. She was constantly asking how I liked it, how it looked and what I usually do with my hair. Best part is she was focused on me and not everything else going on around her. Scissors and Scotch will continue to further have my business.

Negative experience: New employee cut my hair not the way I told him to then made my hair on even never come here it's so shit

Fantastic experience: First time customer, never got more than a basic haircut before. Scissors and Scotch elevated that experience so much that I don't know if I will ever be able to go anywhere else again! The massage and hand dip were so relaxing and luxurious. Ashley was great! Everyone was very friendly, and I had a new and delicious cocktail at the end.

Fantastic experience: I came in here for my first time with my friends membership. I've always seen the place passing by and online. The price will make you consider other choices but the care they put towards your haircut is 100% worth it. My barber was kind and very thoughtful of me when cutting my hair. I've never felt more at ease when I come here. The price gets you rear neck shaves so you're clean cut looks fantastic, a shampoo head massage after cutting, hot towel wrapped around your face that relaxes every tense muscle in your face and with another shampoo head massage!! And to finish off your cut, you get to chill with a drink of your choice. Thank you scissors and scotch! After couple years of finding a place; I've finally found a place where I can finally be "yes this place deserves my business and I will be coming back."

Negative experience: They don't even look to see what you made an appointment for. Only thing I got was a $5 haircut. Didn't do 2/3rds of the service and left out an add on service. Cut does look nice.

Negative experience: The service is so baddddddd i went for a haircut and i got uneven hair also when i told the hairdresser my hair isn’t even he said you are runing out of time Don’t ever ever go there i feel sooo bad now i cant even look to the mirror

Negative experience: They signed me up for a membership and kept my card information on file without asking. Charged for 3 months worth of haircuts and I’ve only been to the place once. Now I can’t get ahold of them.

Fantastic experience: The ladies and gentlemen always show respect and make me always feel welcome. Molly who cuts my hair does a beyond great job! I have had other stylists as well and I haven not received one bad hair cut from here! The receptionist always greets me with a huge smile and happy attitude she also does an equally excellent job at the bar! As you can see I have NOT have one bad experience here and happy I made the choice to become a member and picked this business to trust them with my needs. Thank you to all of you there and also see you at church which most go to as well! Can’t make a bad choice when picking here!

Fantastic experience: I visited Scissors and Scotch for the first time yesterday. I have never seen a more unique take on men’s hair. Isavel gave me a fantastic haircut with all of their special extras. Great care has gone into an ultra pampering experience for men. Go in thirsty with a shaggy do…..come out refreshed, invigorated and with a top notch haircut. Can’t recommend this experience enough. 10 stars!!

Negative experience: They raised prices 20% without any warning, charged my card and refused a refund even though I never received service. Use their service at your own risk. You may find unknown fees billed to you.

Negative experience: My fiancé and I always go to this chain for his haircut and beard trim. You expect great service with these prices. We've always had amazing service prior to this. This was the first time we went to the one in Lincoln and will not be returning. The bartender was alone behind the bar, and it was only her 2nd day on the job. She didn't know know how to make an old fashion. My fiance tried ordering one for each of us, and they refused to make him a drink even after stating it would be at least a 15-minute wait. The guy that cut his hair was in a t-shirt and sweatpants. Half the chicks we saw that were working there looked like they rolled out of bed after a night of drinking and showed up to work, with attitudes to match their look. My fiancé hair cut looks great. His beard trim is another story. There are so many patches of missed hair all over his neck. On the under part of his beard, it looks absolutely butchered. Hia beard trim on his face is so uneven. They hardly cleaned him off after his haircut. I spent 6 minutes wiping hairs off of his face, neck, ears, and shirt. We have been to the shops in Omaha and Lenexa, KS, and had absolutely amazing service. After his haircut, he waited for 15 minutes to get a drink, and no one showed up to the bar. Definitely nothing like the service you expect from this company. It's incredibly disappointing, especially since we have engagement pictures Wednesday.

Fantastic experience: I have come in a couple of times for hair cuts after getting my membership. Every time I have had a different stylist, and every time I have felt incredibly welcome. I left with a great haircut feeling more confident and ready to crush the day.

Was excellent in terms of his asking questions and adjusting accordingly as he cut my hair...he was on the same page with me in this regard (as I have been a small business owner for over 20 yrs). .... I too never stop asking questions in of my clients in my constant goal to make every client I have have happy & satisfied with my work. Mitchell was quite personable, knowledgeable and loves what he does--which ofcourse goes a long way in striving for & achieving excellence. ...Additionally the over all esthetic of the establishment is 2nd to none. Consequently the atmosphere & energy are equally on point as well. A month or so ago (in my seqrch for a new barber) after hair cits by 2 of the girls that work there...I took a gamble and signed up for a yearly membership--Mitchell was the 3rd barber there I've had--and ill likely stick with him after seeing his work today on my hair. Finally...the other employees I've met and had a chance to have conversations with have all been very professional, friendly & conversative (which is something I personally put alot of stock in in) as far as what good employess/good & authentic people are made of as human beings. Scissors & Scotch--Stellar name with truth in advertising and stellar service by stellar people!

I was in the area and needing a beard trimming for an upcoming weekend. This place did NOT disappoint. From the moment I walked in, nothing but good vibes and a fun atmosphere. Friendly receptionist, free old-fashioned, and of course, Ashley! Ashley gave the best conversation while getting trimmed, and did one the best jobs I've received in a few years! Will definitely be coming here from now on.

Negative experience: Stylists are generally great. But what happened to me today is inexcusable. Per the conversation below. I showed up at 10:11am for my 10:15 appointment. That we literally established via text an hour before! (Screenshot below) So I completely rearranged my morning on the fly, and drove 30 min. All to get turned away because the receptionist “didn’t complete the booking after we talked”. The conversation that SHE initiated! If you’re talking to somebody and offer them the 10:15; And then they accept it: Don’t fill it with someone else! I get that things come up and if I needed to rearrange my schedule for no openings, then so be it. But don’t tell me that you can do it at 10:15 then turn me away once I spend my valuable time accommodating your employees inability to update their scheduling availability on your website.

Then once we figured that out she was quick and efficient, and did a great job prepping me for keeping it styles till my next cut.
