3 months ago Fantastic experience: Front to back had an excellent experience. The atmosphere was rich with good energy. The culture & chemistry made it clear to me that I was in a place of quality. Rodney was on point greeting & seeing me out. Zac clearly has a passion for what he does. He was attentive, took my input, gave feedback & by the end I believe we were both happy with his his work. 3 months ago Fantastic experience: I get my haircut exclusively at Gambuzzas. At first I would choose any stylist, but once I got Emma I decided to only get my cut with her. She is the best. Ive never known what to really ask for when it comes to getting my hair cut besides some very general ideas, and I trust Emma wholly to make my cut look great! Some days I'm not very talkative and some days I am, and most stylists seem to try to force conversation, but with Emma she doesn't force it. On the days I do want to talk, I genuinely enjoy mine and Emma's conversations. (She is under Master Stylist Barber 3 when you book online)

4 months ago Fantastic experience: Gambuzza’s is the best barbershop I’ve ever been to. The only issue is trying to get an appointment, but that’s to be expected when the barbers are that good. Otherwise, they’re the only place that can cut my hair correctly. Lauren does a fantastic job, as does Andrew. Overall, I highly suggest a haircut here. It’s old school, and you’ll feel like a new man.

9 months ago Negative experience: This place was recommended to me heavily by friends and family, so I was eager to go. When I got there I was excited as the place had a really cool man cave vibe with darts, pool, chess, and a consistent visual style with its interior design and furniture. Style, however, doesn't make a barber, the haircut and service experience does that. I hate to say in those regards, Gambuzza's is an utter failure. The person doing my haircut was slow and dismissive of my attempts to tell him what I wanted. I showed him a picture for reference and described exactly how I wanted it to look in the end, and he said with a perfectly straight face "why don't we just buzz it?" Why not? Because I just showed you exactly what I wanted, thats why not! And then he proceeds to do the exact opposite of everything I told him to. My hair is absolutely scuffed for the next month because of this atrocious experience. Two stars for style points and thats all, please save yourself and DO NOT GO HERE.

9 months ago Fantastic experience: They go beyond great haircuts. Gambuzza is a great experience. The staff is incredibly talented and friendly. The atmosphere is so amazing that you will sometimes literally regret not having a wait time, so that you can better enjoy their amenities. From the pool table, TV, games and beverage station, you will feel that you're at your cool buddy's man cave instead of waiting for a cut. Best overall haircut experience in Knoxville.

1 year ago Negative experience: Asked for an eye length trim. And got a forehead length cut and a sorry excuse for a fade. And even if I wanted that the fade was done very poorly and the dude who cut my hair couldn’t even texturize it properly. I asked for the simplest thing in the world and he couldn’t get that right. Just don’t understand why it’s so hard to get something so simple, wrong.

2 years ago Fantastic experience: I’ve been getting my haircut here for more than two years now with Ryon as my barber and it’s a fantastic experience every time. Ryon always goes far above and beyond expectations to make sure you’re comfortable. I always look forward to my appointments here, definitely 10/10 recommend this place and Ryon if you’re looking for an experience that is more than just an average haircut. I don’t see myself getting a haircut anywhere else!

2 years ago Negative experience: Went here for years (over 10 years) and sent countless people here, but they don’t care at all about loyalty. Arrogant barbers, high prices, pretty much impossible to get an appointment. I’m done and will never be back.

2 years ago Negative experience: Haircut was ok, not great. Possibly not the right place for younger children. She did not seem very happy about cutting my sons hair (he’s 3 1/2). Will be looking for a more kid friendly barber.
2 years ago Fantastic experience: Emma did an excellent job. I am working in town temporarily and needed a haircut badly, but it's always hard to gain the trust of a new barber for a one off cut. Emma was able to fit me in (got lucky), and did an amazing job. Fade work was smooth without lines (I have coarse thick hair, and that's no easy task). She cleaned the lines perfectly and cut and styled everything as good as my barber of 5 years does. If I lived locally this would be a guaranteed every two week or less stop for me. Highly recommend. Very professional establishment, old school New Jersey vibe with leather chairs and classic games (darts, etc) in the waiting room. Their product line has a great feel and smell to it as well. I'll be stopping again for my next work trip to the area (I'll be sure to schedule in advance though, as they have regulars that fill their appointment books).

Very nice interior at both locations and all of the barbers and stylists are both knowledgeable and friendly! Garret has been awesome with my 4 year old and Tyler has been great for myself. Truly a barbershop for people of all ages!

3 years ago Fantastic experience: Excellent service. Quality hair cuts and shaves. Nice atmosphere. Highly recommend. A little expensive but totally worth it. If you want cheap, Great Clips is always out there but it takes 2 weeks for your hair to look half way decent. At Gambuzza's you can tell you received a quality hair cut that looks great the moment you walk out the door.
