Born Barbers Doral

Fantastic experience: Every time I come to town, I get cleaned up and looking sharp at Born Barbers in Doral. Besides a precision haircut and beard trim, I double down and get a facial, manicure, pedicure and wax hair removal. Joseph is a great barber with an awesome personality, attention to detail with a high level of personal service. My wife tells me how handsome I look every time I go. I will be back for sure the next time I am in town! Thank you Joseph for your service and hospitality.

Negative experience: I was in the area so decided to pop in for hopefully a discount haircut from the crazy Miami prices. Nah. I don’t leave many reviews but I’m leaving this one sitting in the parking lot bc I’m so incredulous about the price. The dude did a good job, professional, polite. Staff were cool. Place is cool. But to charge me $47.50 for TRIMMING THE SIDES WITH A ZERO is madness. Literally nothing off the top. Just shave the sides with an electric clipper on zero. $47.50. I can’t even laugh at the hustle. This is insane and you have earned your 1 star. Never again.

Negative experience: I had a confirmed appointment with Leo I, but when I arrived to check in, I was told the barber wasn’t working that day and that my appointment had been canceled on the spot. It would be much appreciated if the online booking system reflected the barber’s actual availability, so customers don’t waste time coming in for appointments that aren’t really available.

Fantastic experience: So I have been coming to this barbershop for the past year, that was recommended. I use the same barber named Klarc but there's a lot of different barbers that will help you out based on your needs. The atmosphere is very fun and inviting as you walk in. The receptionists that help out are very kind and and will make sure you are taken care of and helped out throughout your time in the shop. They have a variety of services that are done from haircuts, to beard shaving, eyebrow waxing, hair coloring, nail specialists and more. Definitely recommend if you are in the area and need a cut.

Fantastic experience: Have gone to the other Born Barbers locations before but hands down the best cut and experience I’ve gotten was with James at this location. Great experience and result, would recommend booking with him if you can. I had the same barber for 10+ years and had to go through a few barbers before finding James. I won’t get my hair cut by anyone other than him now.

He listened to exactly what I wanted, and the whole vibe was really pleasant. The location was super nice, comfortable, and clean—they run a really neat and organized operation there. They even offered me coffee, which was a nice touch. This was my first time with him, but I’ll definitely book with James again next time I’m in Miami. Highly recommend!

Negative experience: Got a haircut here recently for the first time and I had my haircut with the guy named Leo. Showed him a picture of what I wanted and explained to him what I wanted. Guy completely ignored what I showed him and cut my hair way too short. If you can’t look at a picture and replicate it then you shouldn’t be a barber. Thank you for ruining my hair ( year and a half of growth) and wasting my time. $53 for the wrong haircut is malpractice. Mind you I wanted a trim at most because my hair was getting a little crazy but I went from having nice long hair to basically a crop. Will never come back. Do better.

There is no barbershop like this, You may be a client, but they family you like family!! From the girls in front, who greets you when you walk in. To all the barbers in the, which doesn't matter which one you get or come see. You can physically put your worries away and let him get to work. When they are done, you will be happy the way you look every time. Also cannot forget about Maria she is the best she will leave your hands and feet looking clean and 100%. I've never seen someone take so much care in her work like her. She is very talented, and she gives all her passion to her work. I am 100% grateful in her work, every time I come see her, that goes also to everyone at this Barbershop!!!

Negative experience: Most terrible experience ever in a barbershop. Let’s start with the fact I paid ahead of actual appointment I had set up for my son. I get to the shop the guy I booked with set up his own appointment on the side and didn’t mark anything on the online appointment system. Then instead of the barber actually walking up to me and at least trying to explain what happened he shrugged his shoulders and told tue receptionist in the front to hand me off to whoever else. I didn’t want the haircut anymore so I asked for a refund. This was June 10….its June 27 and I still have t received the refund. This place is exactly what a barbershop shouldn’t be.

I’ve been personally getting cut by Klarc, he absolutely phenomenal with the clippers, scissors and razor. My beard is always on clean and sharp. I highly recommend to visit this place you won’t regret it and ask for KLARC you will not be disappointed.

He was super detailed and polite, listened to what she wanted, and even used a little comb to part the hair appropriately (never seen any barber do that in all the cuts she’s had). Took his time, but not too long and the cut came out great. Will definitely come back, and we highly recommend!
