Positive experience: I've only been to a barber a few times in my life since my dad gives me all of my haircuts, however, im a college student and a pretty good ways from home. The guy I saw was great. Gave me a pretty solid cut (8.7 out of 10). The overall experience wasnt perfect though, one of his coworkers had some work drama that she had to keep sharing while I was getting a cut and it was pretty annoying. Brought the vibes down a little. Overall though, the cut and the barber I saw were super chill, and the man did a really good job.

Fantastic experience: I would give more than 5 Stars but it wont let me. Veteran Owned and Operated is the first thing that caught my eye. Then to even make it better is that it is a fellow Marine that owns it. Here for a conference from Michigan and first time in OKC. In need of haircut and beard trim. Stopped in and my God was a great decision to come here. Top notch, friendly, talkative (I like that) and one hell of a job. Ive been to barbers from west coast to east and this is on top of my list. You are lucky to have this establishment and the barbers that work their OKC.

Negative experience: Scheduled a cut during my lunch break online. I was quoted an hour long process but when I arrived, the appointment before was still going. After 10 minutes, I went to the desk to try to reschedule but no one was there. Very frustrating experience.

Fantastic experience: I had a truly excellent experience today at V’s Barbershop . I’m new to town and decided to walk in without an appointment. The décor, featuring fantastic vintage baseball artwork, immediately created a warm, classic barbershop atmosphere. I was greeted promptly and seen in less than ten minutes. Cindy was my barber, and after asking a few simple questions, she quickly understood the style I was looking for. I’m usually not much of a talker, but Cindy made me feel completely at ease. She shared great suggestions about things to see and do in Oklahoma, and we had a pleasant conversation about family and the upcoming holiday. Before I knew it, my haircut was finished and it was time to go. I truly appreciate professionals who combine compassion with skill, and Cindy did exactly that. The entire staff seemed welcoming, attentive, and ready to help. I’ll definitely be returning and would highly recommend V’s Barbershop to others.

Negative experience: I will start by saying the barbers are very friendly & engaging. The barber I had was very nice and it was a pleasant experience. I am pleased with my haircut and it looks great. Where they fall short are the straight razor face shaves. I don’t do this very often and it’s usually for a special occasion. When I got home, I noticed multiple spots that were missed and overall it was pretty terrible. I am glad I was not in a wedding or having photos right after…it would have been embarrassing! I can recommend them for haircuts, but I would go somewhere else that is better trained for a facial shave.

Fantastic experience: Monica has been cutting my hair for almost a year now. She's always welcoming and does exactly what I ask her to do with my hair. The barbershop is amazingly generous to Veterans, and civilians. I always leave with a smile, and a haircut that gives me my best look.

Fantastic experience: I've been going to V's for several months. Kaitlyn does not excellent job in cutting my hair like i want it cut. She's super friendly and engaging throughout the entire cut. I'm sad to be moving out of state because as you know, once you find someone who knows how to cut your hair, you stay with them forever! You can't go wrong with V's. Everyone is friendly and the atmosphere is great.

Negative experience: This was a sub par experience for the price. The staff seems inexperienced and impersonal. None of the staff wanted to take me (although I will say I booked an hour in advance). I’ve had better haircuts at sports cuts. If you’re looking for a one size fits all this may be for you. But I will be looking for somewhere locally owned to customize my experience in the future.

Very happy with Ken's service, this guy knows what he is doing. Take it from me, not many Barbers in the OKC area know how to correctly style a beard. If you have a beard you need to see Ken , he's the best that I've experienced in the Edmond /OKC areas

Fantastic experience: Bridgette was kind and welcoming. My 4 year old is used to haircuts so he is easy to work with. We had a previous cut, while out of state, that was not at all what I asked for and Bridgette was able to fix it for us. She also shaped it in a way that it will continue to grow back in the way we want it to. I highly recommend seeing Bridgette!

Fantastic experience: I was in town to take care of my mom, and after three weeks of late nights, you could say I was in a bit of a hygiene slump. Kim made everything better. A cold beer and great conversation while she gave me the works ... facial, shave, haircut, hot towel treatment ... it made a bad week a little better. I will be back next time I'm in town.

He’s always gone to my hair salon with me, but taking him to a legit barbershop specifically for men and boys was a next level experience. 1000/10 recommend skipping sports clips and the kiddie barbers and your female focused hair salon and take them here! The experience was so good I booked a delate appointment for my even younger son AND bought a gift card to give to my husband to force him to go in. The pricing is INCREDIBLE for the experience and the relaxation and the result will be faaarrr better than my hubby cutting his own hair.

Fantastic experience: I had the best customer experience at this barbershop. My wife and I relocated to the Edmond area from Arizona about four years ago and finding a barbershop was something a bit low on the priority list. It took a while to find the right fit but I have been coming to V’s now for the better part of three years. As such, I finally found my ‘regular’ place. Upon arriving, you are greeted with the pleasant overall atmosphere of the barbershop. I would venture to say this is what "good ol' -fashioned barbershops were all about. Comfortable chairs, relaxed ambiance and friendly and personable staff. Kaitlyn always greets me and offers a refreshment and we talk about how I would like my hair cut. (They keep notes under your account if you are a regular but always ask if you want to change things up). Kaitlyn has consistently delivered on the promise of a great cut and will typically make a few suggestions on the length, and speak very briefly about a couple different hair products they would direct me toward for my hair type, specifically. (No pushy sales tactic, just helpful advice!) There is absolutely nothing better than having your expectations constantly exceeded when you're not anticipating it. I would HIGHLY recommend Kaitlyn at V's Barbershop. I'd venture to say that if she is the caliber of barbers at V's, you absolutely cannot go wrong! (I have had my hair cut by two other barbers there as well with consistently great results based on Kaitlyn’s notes for them). This isn’t an economy haircut kind of place but they are more than worth the extra money spent. I have definitely found my regular shop, going forward. Thanks again, Kaitlyn!

Negative experience: Normal hair cut with an inconsistent beard trim and crooked beard line to trim my self when I get home. The place is decorated like its old school. But it’s just a spot to get a hair cut. If you’re feeling like you need to treat your self and want to get a facial, save your money. I’ll keep looking

Negative experience: **Absolute disaster of an experience.** I usually don’t write a review but I had to: 1. I specifically asked to leave the top untouched, but the barber cut a huge chunk from the front instead from the start. Terrible scissors work. 2. They switched my barber from Kim to Nathan without any notification or explanation. Completely unprofessional. Photo attached. 3. I was facing opposite side of mirror for entire time I was getting the haircut. Rework cannot be done - too late to fix the issue.

Fantastic experience: This place is great. Definitely my go-to I have a lot of anxiety about finding a barber/hairdresser I like. My barber in Boston was Volmmer and I only ever went to him. That person for me in OKC is Kim Burns and you won't see me getting my haircut by anyone else outside of an emergency.

Negative experience: Absolutely awful. I waited for 30 mins past my scheduled time and then got a terrible haircut. Didn’t listen to instructions what so ever and then wanted to argue about it. Absolutely awful!! (Since you wanted to comment back, 5:30 appointment yet she didn’t get to her 5:00 appointment until 5:20… also you can’t fix a hair that isn’t there anymore… )

Fantastic experience: This was my first time at V’s Barbershop, and it was an excellent experience! The minute you walk in, you’re welcomed by an incredible smell that I later learned is their famous tonic. I had a haircut with Bridget, and she was incredibly meticulous and attentive. The haircut turned out great, and I’ve already made my appointment for next time. Highly recommend!

Last two times he has gotten haircut, at two different places, he was extremely disappointed and it took a long time to get his hair back to normal. He has some sensory struggles and getting his haircut is usually quite the hassle. Today he saw Bridgett and she was incredibly patient, kind, and made our son feel more comfortable than any Barber ever has. When I'm out of town, my wife like to take him to a barber closer to us - which is great because we get the opportunity to compare a horrible haircut to a great haircut and keeps Kim's skills sharp having to fix bad haircuts.

Fantastic experience: I’ve gotten the same haircut for 7 years so I have seen many different levels of “good/great” of this style (Zero fade up to a 1 with a hard part on right and blend on left with the comb over). Ken did an AMZING JOB. Took his time and was very meticulous. I’ve got a great beard and don’t let many people cut/trim/shape it. I checked the reviews and Ken seemed the best for beards and the reviews didn’t lie! Ken gave me a great haircut and did an amazing job on my beard. Fantastic experience: Choosing a barber is one of the most important things a man will do. And once you find one, we are loyal to the end. After leaving my barber in AZ for 7 years I needed a new one. Thankfully Kim is my girl at V's Barber. She's kind, very patient, and she doesn't try to pry conversations from you if you don't want to. On top of that, if you notice a mistake ( I haven't) she encourages you to come back so she can fix it.

Fantastic experience: Best haircut since we moved to Edmond. Monica treated me as an important guest. Sometime I really wanted was a razor cut around my ears so that my hair would not interfere with my hearing aids & glasses. Monica did it perfectly. The most important thing is that my wife loves the cut!

Fantastic experience: Ken is absolutely the best barber in town. It is by far the highest quality haircut you'll ever get as a man. He could charge double and I'd still go to him. He cuts mine and my 2 year old son's hair and does a fantastic job every single time for over a year now. My son turns into a demon when he sees the barber shop and Ken still knocks it out of the park because he's so good with kids. I can't recommend him enough!

Negative experience: The worst service and haircut of My entire life (Sarah), she was in a rush, cut My hair in abaut 10 min, didnt listen to my requests and was acting super weird. At the end never Even asked if I was happy with it or if she could make it better she just wanted me out. i never coming back. I left with a terrible haircut and a bad experience.
