Fantastic experience: Everyone is extremely nice. It's a very relaxed atmosphere where the client feels as if they are the only one that matters at that time. No rushing you through to get to the next client. The establishment is very clean and nice with a touch of decor that makes it a man's place to go, including the lounge, but is also pleasing to women. My husband was the original client but me and our son were fitted in for a cut. Prices were more than we were used to but you get what you pay for. So the price was well worth it. We will definitely be regular clients. Definitely a 10/10.

Negative experience: The people were wonderful and the drinks were a very nice touch. Unfortunately, I asked if anyone was able to layers in female hair and advised it was okay if not, we still wanted to get a men's cute for my boyfriend. I was assured 3 different times that the stylist could indeed cut layers as she worked in a salon previously. I am know stuck having to figure out how to cut my own hair because it looks like I have a mushroom cut. My longest layer underneath is clearly more than an inch longer than the next layer and the rest is layered about an inch up. I said I wanted Scene Style chunky all over layers. Very disappointed. We will not be back. What do you mean you 'can't turn anyone away'....just be honest if this is your skill set or not.

Negative experience: For how much you're paying the service goes down every year I went here for years always tipped very well but the service just goes down a notch every year. Save your money and go to almost any other barber shop. You will get identical if not better service but save a hefty chunk of money.

So far, I have only had a cut and clean up done, but look forward to seeing the magic that can be performed on my beard. Did I mention that the Old Fashioned is yummy? Well, they are!

Got my nose waxed too because them hairs long as hell. Dahlia had an espresso and water waiting for me after. Cheers to you Dahlia, I may have been passed out but damn that was one hell of a haircut. Also, nose waxing will sober you up pretty quick.

Fantastic experience: Was initially offset by paying almost 80 bucks for a haircut and a beard trim, but this place is worth it! A free drink in the mix definitely helps, and the folks in there were knowledgeable and patient, even when I didn't know exactly what I wanted. Definitely plan on coming back next time I need to look my best!

Negative experience: My stylist was very nice but gave me wicked razor burn on my neck looks like someone tried to strangle me. Went in for the beard sculpting and for the price I won't be back.

Fantastic experience: This is an amazing place to get a hair cut. The atmosphere is incredible and the bar is well stocked. The hair cut and waxing went really well. However, my beard trim was ok. They ended up trimming of more that I wanted but I’m not going to blame them. I didn’t necessarily tell them to keep the length. Over all I will be back in a month.

Fantastic experience: I had a hair system installed and the lady didn’t cut and style my hair right so I went to scissors and scotch. I loved the atmosphere and that there was a full service bar while you wait. The cut was perfect and the people were very friendly. I strongly recommend them.

Negative experience: I am very disappointed . I had grown my hair out for over two years and decided it was time for a change. I came to Scissors & Scotch because I felt they marketed they have stylist that are experienced and experts in men's hair. When I showed up the lady that greeted me was excellent. She offered me a drink ( I don't drink) so I chose to wait. I met my stylist and we talked about my journey of how I grew my hair out and the change I was wanting. In my opinion she showed very little interest in how important this was to me. This is not a review of a bad haircut. The haircut looked great but it looked NOTHING like what I was asking for. In fact she cut it way to short. Also the experience was awkward with silence. She wasn't warm, inviting, conversational at all. Most importantly she didn't listen to what I wanted. So weeks later the regrowth has made my hair look like trash. Its hard to style, comb, and not the look I was wanting. I even reminded her a couple time not to go to short. I could have received the same haircut at great clips for $15 not $50. The reason you are paying a premium price is to work with someone that is experienced and can make you look great. So here we are. You're only as good as your bad experience. This is mine.

Fantastic experience: I know I don't take advantage of the bar here, but I've had nothing but good experiences here. Hannah is the stylist I go to and she's fantastic. It's especially nice to go somewhere that they remember how I like to have my hair cut, which I realize is a small thing, but it does matter not needing to explain over and over. I'm definitely going to keep coming back.

Fantastic experience: I wanted my 16 year old son to have a nice haircut before he attended our wedding a few months ago. I have been bald for 25 years and am not up on hair salons for men. This place was recommended . His haircut was very stylish and he was so happy . Since then he has been to two different salons for hair cuts in AZ (he does not live in OKC) and has not been anywhere as happy as he was with his haircut here.

Fantastic experience: I loved the experience, start to finish. Felt very pampered and a fantastic result!

Negative experience: Customer service was very bland. Stylist did a good job but service was no different than what you can receive for $30-$40 at any other shop. Was never offered any kind of drink. My advice is to save your money and go somewhere else.

Negative experience: My barber went from hero to zero. She did good the first couple of appointments this last appointment I went to she slack so much she did everything without care did not pay attention to what I was saying when I asked for a side edge up basically it looks like Edward Scissorhands cut my hair. I was even getting roasted by my brother of how bad the haircut was looks like a military haircut . definitely never gonna come back here again one customer lost.

Negative experience: Update: It occurred to me after I left that they mentioned had my credit card on file. That didn’t sit well either me. Neither did the fact that I basically paid for a whiskey drink that I did not receive. I called back later in the day and spoke to a Cara, who could not have cared less. She asked what the issue was in a way that told me she didn’t really care and after letting my complaint wash over her she simply said “okay.” That was it. No attempt to offer to make things right or offer any level of customer service. Odds are they have enough members and a lot do good reviews that they don’t have to care. My advice is this, look at the negative reviews and then ask if you want to go in, pay $50-70 and maybe be one of the lucky ones to get a good haircut. If it’s worth the risk or you wait that drink go on in. If you don’t want to throw away the money on a Great Clips/Super Cuts haircut and maybe a cocktail then find a proper barber and head to a bar afterwards. This place is a gimmick and the hype is not real. Second time in. First time was perfect! Great greeting by great bartender who made a great old fashioned, followed by a great haircut by Cheyenne. This visit not so much. Showed up 15 minutes early so I could sit and enjoy my drink rather than grab sips while the stylist does her thing. Sat there for the 15 minutes and never got my drink. Julia came over to take me back, wearing an overcoat, and gave me the equivalent of the best Supercuts haircut I’ve ever had but at the cost of $50. While sitting in her chair I kept thinking maybe they bring your drink to you if you go back before they make it. Nope. It never arrived. Went to check out and mentioned that I didn’t get my drink and the hostess/receptionist said I had to order it. Mind you I did when I walked in giving my name, the name of my stylist, and stating I was early and would have an old fashioned. I guess she didn’t hear me. I guess that’s my fault. It’s cool. I won’t be doing a membership no matter how many times they ask or how many emails I get. I likely won’t be back. For the price and getting stiffed on the drink, which let’s be honest somewhat justifies the ridiculous prices for men’s haircuts, the drink is a big part of the allure. Without the drink it’s just an outrageously expensive, sometimes great sometimes not so great, haircut.

Fantastic experience: Scissors and Scotch is OUTSTANDING!! They have amazing services. And their bartender makes spectacular drinks. My stylist was Sherree and she is such an amazing hair stylist ♥️✨

Fantastic experience: Update. After my second visit, I did not have the tangles so my first visit must have been a coincidence. Second visit was also amazing and Crystal will be my hair and beard barber for the foreseeable future. Very positive experience. Their services are great, but it is a little expensive. Crystal is great and I highly recommend her. Very relaxing environment and the customer service is exceptional. They have options to lessen the cost, but I went for the 25 year and added a face sculpt as my beard is long and I have been without a proper trim for 5 weeks while I was moving here from Virginia. Overall two minor complaints. I wish there was a cheaper option to combine beard sculpt or trim with haircuts, especially for regular maintenance. Another minor complaint is the beard product used either didn't mesh with my normal one or it cause a few tangles. The next day was very difficult to comb after my normal wash, conditioning, oiling routine. Overall still five stars because those are very minor complaints and I was very satisfied. If you can afford regular visits, do it. If not, it's worth the treat at least a couple times a year.

A little on the pricer side, but if you wanna walk about happy and with the haircut you actually want, this is the place to go. Also Makenzie was the best and made sure that I was happy with what she was doing through the cut. 10/10 going back.

Negative experience: Showed up 20 minutes early to maybe partake in a cocktail while waiting. Never got greeted or checked in until 4 minutes before the appointment time. It was my first time here so I didn’t know you can go right to the bar. Figured check in was a membership sales pitch and ID check then a quick tour and seated to wait…I was told to go to the bar next time if the receptionist is gone especially that long, and was also told we get a drink included (this was from a stylist…never saw the receptionist until leaving and paying after the appointment). Too bad this info was 4 minutes before appointment time. I had to run after the appointment…totally missed out! I think if it’s all going correctly this might be kinda cool. Candy did an AMAZING JOB on the cut and beard trim!!! Highly suggest if you come to a boojie place like this come with a friend or get the lowdown on what ya need to do to enjoy all the benefits. Two stars cause I got 2 star treatment…will try again someday maybe, but will wait until a friend tells me it’s gotten better!

Fantastic experience: I recently booked an appointment here after wanting to go for years. I never really prioritized my experience when getting a cut before now and let me tell you, I wish I would have gone to Scissors & Scotch much sooner. The entrance area is staffed with someone to get you checked in and answer any questions you may have which is an awesome change of pace. The overall vibe is relaxed and the attached bar/lounge is very classy with good options of cocktails as well as beer on tap. If you are on the fence about getting a cut here, just try it once and you’ll be blown away by the difference in how you’re taken care of here versus the big name “cuts” shops most guys are accustomed to. This place and the ladies who work here make going to the barber something you look forward to each month.

The atmosphere was relaxed yet professional, and the cut was spot-on. I liked it so much, I brought my two boys back the next day to get theirs done too—and they loved it just as much. Looks like we’ve found our new go-to spot!

Fantastic experience: Had never heard of this place until needing a cut on my travel to OKC (grew up in OKC just down the road). I didn’t want to go to a barber as i have a calic that is a challenge. When we walked in the place had a magnificent vibe but wasn’t too boujee. the bar was a surprise but an inviting and relaxing one. Had never thoght about having an Old Fashioned during my cut but it was exceptional. The stylist, Candy, was incredible and explained how they do things differently which made sense. Extremely relaxing environment and high quality results (and drinks too). They deliver on the experience only thing to note, the salon is on the 2d Floor and there’s not a Southside entrance on the ground floor. For all the text reminders they sent me (which was wonderful to confirm appointments), it would have been helpful on a hot 101 degree day to suggest parking in the garage in the north side of the building and the entrance is only on the 2d floor on that north side. i’ll be back for sure.

I was a little skeptical at first, but even from the beginning, I knew that this place was something special. Madison has done my cut every single time, and she does an amazing job! Fantastic experience: Always reluctant to try a new place, and with my daughters wedding a couple of days out, took a chance, and got an awesome experience with JAX. I got exactly what I was looking for. Went from Wolfman to Superman in one sitting! The cherry on top was my complimentary drink. A Whisky Sour made the way it’s supposed to be made. I don’t usually have a simple shave either. Ashley was fantastic and understood what I wanted. I highly recommend her. I couldn’t be happier with the experience and signed up for the membership.
