Fantastic experience: I took my 2 year old son here and he hates haircuts. The staff were fast, professional and empathetic, everyone was taking turns trying to engage and entertain my son while he got a snazzy looking cut. So pleased and will definitely be back

Negative experience: First time they cut my sons hair it was great. This time it was terrible. Used texturing scissors across the whole thing. My toddlers mullet was destroyed and now his hair looks thin and uneven.

Negative experience: Bad Experience at This Haircut Shop I had a very disappointing experience here. One of the young staff members provided really poor service. He barely communicated, seemed uninterested, and worked very lazily. Definitely not professional or welcoming. I wouldn’t recommend this place

Negative experience: I had an uncomfortable experience yesterday. The lady was being rude to me about the length of my hairs (down there) before my wax. That lasted a few minutes, I was getting so angry that I almost left. After my appointment was over, I had a look at the job she done and it was bad!! All that pain, and she missed alot of hair. I wasted my money, my energy and my time!! I will never come back here again!!

Fantastic experience: It was incredible, I got wash and cut with layers and styled and it is the best haircut I have ever gotten. The lady that did my hair (I think it was Rudi??) was very accommodating and listened to me and my goals for my hair.

Fantastic experience: Got the classic short back and sides from Arun. Getting a bit thin on top but he's a pro and knew how to cut and style to make the most of what's left

Fantastic experience: Nayab did an amazing job of my cut a couple weeks back. Best I've had in 10years and the first stylist I've felt actually listened to what I wanted and took into consideration my hair type and how I prefer to wear it. Took the kids in today for fresh new styles and they all came out absolutely beaming!! Nayab, KB & Ravi's consultations were very thorough and they listened to what each child wanted while checking in with me too. The Salon was really busy and the cuts were done quickly but each one felt very pampered. Won't be going anywhere else

Fantastic experience: Have been attending Beauty and the Barbers for 4 years now. The service is professional. Always a nice energy in both salons. Rammi, is a kind business owner with a heart of gold. Today I had Nayab colour my hair with the latest Wella colour. Nayab is a great hairdresser with years of experience, working internationally. My colour is on point and I enjoyed my time at the taradale branch…highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I thought to have a go here and found that I came to the right place. Nayab used to work in Malaysia so he understands and good at perm with Asian hairstyles. I wanted to have Sandra Oh’s characteristic curls and he made it happen! Big thanks to Nayab!

Fantastic experience: Very pleased with our experience - walked in and got haircuts for my 2.5yo son and my husband with Sunny. My son has only managed scissors cuts in the past as he was scared of the clippers but Sunny was great with building rapport and making him feel comfortable. Lovely cut too which will look good styled or natural. A bit more expensive than what we’ve paid elsewhere ($30) but well worth it when you get great service and a nice cut

Fantastic experience: After walking out the first time due to time constraints, I booked an appointment this time and found out exactly what I was missing out on, Sunny advised me on some cuts and ideas and even managed to have squeezed the lady in to shape my eye brows. Left the shop feeling like a whole new man!! Can not recommend the team enough!!

Fantastic experience: Got a haircut from Arun today, and have to say he's one of the best. Super friendly and accommodating and the best cut I've had in years. Most people can't cut curly hair properly but this guy can. Definitely recommended

Fantastic experience: When it comes to my hair, I am very particular who I let it touch lol. But I am glad to say that I made the right choice to go there. I went to this place with a photo which I found on Pinterest and I am so happy that I got the exact haircut and hair colour. I absolutely loved my new look. He had a vision for my hair and it shows in my transformation. Hairstylist has so much experience and his work clearly speaks more than words. I highly recommend this place. Don’t think, just go!!

Negative experience: My usual HD closed early for the NY weekend, algud. I went to this salon to get a wash, blow-wave & tiny trim of the ends. Very expensive for $100.00. Auckland city, I understand but Napier, really? I definitely won't be going back there. Very unhappy.
