Negative experience: Does a very nice haircut, however the barber is a horrible woman, I have been getting my haircut from this lady for 2+ years and she refuses me service now as I accidentally called in on a Sunday when it’s “no regulars on sunday”, when her website states otherwise. She won’t take anyone who’s not tipping which is crazy when you look at how much she charges for haircuts. She also speaks unprofessionally about the vast majority of people that come into her shop which I have experienced first hand on several occasions. I have wasted fuel so many times travelling to her shop to be told she has clients coming in yet she states she doesn’t take bookings, make that make sense. If you want a stress free haircut just go anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: While visiting Ireland, I tried a Turkish barber and was genuinely surprised by the level of professionalism. The haircut and beard styling were excellent, easily one of the best experiences I have had, even compared to barbers in Turkey.

But takes the same time & care with everyone, down to all the little details. Start to finish it's a 5 star experience & can't recommend her enough.

Fantastic experience: I've been going to Rose's barbers for the last ~3 years and wouldn't go past her now. Her skill and attention to detail is amazing. While waiting, I've noticed how well she treats young and old customers too. She makes sure the older gents have a seat, cup tea/coffee and the paper which is lovely. For the kids, Rose has a few toys and manages them very well from what I observed. Would highly recommend.

My 3yo boy hates his hair being cut and always cries and screams. Yet this lady actually with her calm and warm approach makes his haircut fast and stylish and my son is like under some spell cause doesn't cry or screech just sits and actually enjoys it. Negative experience: Today i ve encountered the most unfriendly person in Waterford. Came at 9:45 with a completely empty shop and has been told to book 24 hours in advance in a very rude manner( probably i was distracting her to scroll on instagram) . Working with bookings is understandable but she has a huge advertisement on her shop: "walk ins welcome" . Went to the barbers few meters ahead and got sorted in few minutes.

Fantastic experience: Always wanted to try a turkish barber and Rose did not disappoint. Absolute super barber and so nice. Got the works, nose wax, ear cone, beard and head shave. Never felt as clean and refreshed. Great professional service and its cheaper than going to a therapist! Was so pleased I brought my 3 year old the next day and he loved it. Rose was great with him and all his wriggling about. He didn't get a beard trim though as he's trying to grown it out. We'll both be back again.
