Fantastic experience: Very clean, organized and friendly place 5/5 for the service

Fantastic experience: Visited recently, really friendly service highly recommended it .staff are all good.Had a grade 3 clipper cut on top and a number 2 on back and sides .Also had my stubble trimmed to .I have booked in again with Jake .can't fault them , excellent service.

Fantastic experience: Just been for a fresh trim and not booked a pre booked appointment and I believe it was Jake said give as 10 and Al get ya sorted honestly blokes a top barber he was very precise and made sure no hair was missed well worth getting ya self there I watched the other barbers wile I was there and honestly they all must be perfectionists defo get ya self there :) thanks guys will defo be back

Negative experience: Barber not ready by booking time. Booked so I could get in on my break. I had to leave as there wasnt enough time.Wasted money on an Uber getting there.

Fantastic experience: Moved homes recently and been looking for a new barber, which can sometimes be difficult. I hadn't had a haircut for a long time as a result; walked in with a head looking like Heath Ledger's Joker, walked out looking very smart. Wash, cut and dry felt good, my haircut looks good and the staff were very polite, friendly and talkative. Will definitely be using again.

Fantastic experience: I've been going to Mike for years and have never went anywhere else since. Always a great haircut, listens to what I say and makes recommendations, and I leave with exactly what I was wanting. Great team, great location and very fluid booking system. Can't recommend it enough.

Fantastic experience: Mike and the team have done an absolutely fantastic job with his new shop! Such a clean and convenient place!! Right outside the train station is absolutely perfect when I don't want to drive! Putting other barbers out of work because they known its the place to be!

Negative experience: I booked a "just haircut" option but was forced to have my hair washed despite declining, as the barber claimed it was mandatory. To make matters worse, I was charged for the wash without any prior warning. This lack of transparency and disregard for customer preferences was disappointing, even though the haircut itself was fine. Clear communication and respecting choices are essential unfortunately, this experience left me hesitant to return

Fantastic experience: Jake is a credit to the place, easy to talk to and listens to what you want and advises what he thinks would be best. I went with his advice and changed from my normal cut.... love it! Well worth the train ride over the water

Negative experience: Worst beard trim experience. After explaining I wanted it neatened up and the sides taken down, and NOT the bottom He just went ahead and took clippers to the bottom of my beard straight away Come in for a slight trim and left with a 6 months of beard growth gone On top of that it was completely scruffy as anything Completely wonky, when I got home I had to spend 15 minutes fixing it The 19year old lad didn't really seem to know what he was doing with a beard. Whereas he was nice, I've left looking completely different than I asked and extremely scruffier than the beard was originally Even the sides at the top were different angles and different lengths The moustache is completely wonky and uneven and it's just an absolute joke I've paid someone to do this Don't let your apprentice near anyone's beard is my advice in the future. I'm never ever going to step foot in here again and would advise others not to if you want a service that puts any care whatsoever into what the customer wants. I've been furious since yesterday I can't believe I've paid someone to just do what they wanted to my beard Joke Has put me off even growing a beard if I'm honest I'd been looking forward to this for months for some kid just to do a half assed rushed job on it and not listen to what I asked for. Couldn't be more unhappy.

Fantastic experience: Great service as always. Reece is superb. Have lived in liverpool for 6 years now and I only get my hair cut by him. Couldn’t recommend him more highly.

Negative experience: The haircut was good, but there is so much better available for the price range. I found another barber in Liverpool that charge a similar amount and the results are significantly better, but that's probably why a lot of their clients are footballer's!

Fantastic experience: Recently took my 13 year old son to get his hair cut in town. He’s at that awkward age and is often one word answers but he was right at ease with Jake straight away. They were gabbing away and Finn got himself a lovely trim too; exactly what he asked for, keeping the length on top with a fade all round ready for holiday. When we got out Finn asked if that can be his new permanent barber now. Doesn’t want to go anywhere else!

Fantastic experience: ChatGPT suggested this place, and I'm glad I took the recommendation. Got a haircut today and had an excellent experience. I booked an appointment with Reece, and he was ready at the scheduled time. His wealth of knowledge and professionalism really stood out. He was very helpful and truly understood what I wanted. I was extremely happy with the overall haircut. I would absolutely come again. Highly recommend Reece for anyone looking for a top-notch haircut!

Negative experience: I was in a rush and I walked in. Asked if they are available, they said sure. No problem on the attitude, really nice people, good chat. I have been there before so wanted a quick haircut while I was passing by. However, hair cut was just not right. Did not want anything special. Uneven on the sides, little hairs poking everywhere. Did not have the time to go for a second time to “fix” it, I mean this shouldn’t happen as this is a upper class barber. I wont go into the small details that makes a barber a good barber shop. This place used to be better. I had to go home and fix it myself. Wont be going again. Sorry lads

Fantastic experience: Better service than most barbers around. Pricier at 20 quid a cut but the attentiveness to detail and quality of the cut make up for it. Setting a standard for others in the area.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to GC for about 2 years and always leave feeling great. I always see Agger who always makes the effort to engage with his clients which makes the service even better! As I differ with autism, I’ve always struggled to find a barber shop that isn’t overwhelming and GC is one I would definitely recommend to anyone who is neurodivergent. Agger’s full diary does demonstrate how much of a good barber he is and it goes to show how much of an asset he is to GC.
